I finally received my welcome kit yesterday when I went into Sephora, but there was no free shipping code that same with it. I tried to use the "common" one (VF249S), but it keeps on giving me an error, saying that I have to select standard shipping or something. Is there a different code for Canadians or maybe I'm missing something?
I am looking for new products to help fade my acne scars. On my hunt for new product i found the Lemon Trip Flash Peel. Has anybody tried it or this kit that can tell me if its worth the money or if its gonna help with my scars. This set contains: - 0.5 oz Sheer Transformation™ - 0.5 oz Lemon Strip Flash Peel - 0.5 oz Truth Serum™ Collagen Booster - 1.5 oz African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser™ - 0.5 oz Pure Truth™ Youth Activating Oil
I'm 13 and have just been able to start wearing make up and I am totally CLUELESS!!! Am I able to walk in Sephora and be like "Can you show me how to apply makeup correctly?" But I feel like they would get annoyed because I want to know how to apply most things such as Eyeliner, Eyeshadow, Bronzer, Mascara ETC. What should I do?
I have very oily acne prone skin, what is the best setting spray to use? I've tried the Urban Decay Deslick with little results. Also what is a good setting powder to use over the Kat Von D lock it foundation and the kat von d powder?
Hello!! So i am in need of a skin care product. None in particular, just anything to help even out my skin complexion (whether thats a cleanser or a mask, it doesn't matter)! I have rosy cheeks (fairly red all around-probably rosacea) as well as a few blemishes and rough patches. Also, my skin is Combination. It would be great help! thanks
I've recently heard how facial serums are very important in the skin care routine. How does everyone feel about them? Are they necessary? Do you use a serum? if so, which one? I tried a sample of Sunday Riley's good genes, it burned at first but left my skin looking amazing, but not for $105 :/ I have extremely dry skin and have to moisturize thoroughly.
I am wondering how the results could possibly give me an accurate match. A foundation the color of my freckles would be just awful and one the color of my unfreckled skin would be far too pale. I prefer my foundation to get rid of any ruddiness and not cover but rather enhance. Should I even bother going to get the color IQ done?
I love the Lorac concealer/highlighter but Sephora no longer has it in stock. I have semi-fair skin with yellow undertones and this is one of the only products I've found that's not too pink. Does anyone know of something comparable? I've tried bobbi brown's concealer but I don't like the size for the price.
I'm having a hard time finding a foundation with those characteristics. I'd like to find a foundation that has a good shade range for yellow/golden medium skin that is long lasting for long work days. I was recommended the hourglass immaculate foundation but it was honestly too powdery and cakey even with a beauty blender and the 'yellow' shades were still too pink for me. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
I am seeking a new foundation, I recently bought Kat Von D's lock it foundation. I do not like how it makes me look cakey and brings attention to my dry spots. I have used Clinque Even Better for about 2 years, I was happy with the coverage, just not the way it made my face feel sticky. Do you have any reccomendations for other foundations that Sephora carries? I'm looking for moderate- to full coverage but more natural looking. Thanks.
Hi im Jen and im only 15 when i startd noticing that i have lines under my eyes. Is it because im not sleeping enough because im in high school with a whole bunch of assigments/tests to do/study for. I really want to get rid or reduce the look of them. Everytime i look at the mirror i feel that i look old and ugly with them. Please someone, can you reccomend me any products like eye creams to help reduce or better yet get rid of them!
I'm bummed...I went off of birth control a few months ago (due to terrible side effects), and now my hormonal acne is raging! my doctor is putting me back on Retin A. The last time I used it, I had a really hard time managing the peeling. I had to stop taking it because it really got out of control. So...any suggestions for what I can do this time around to minimize the nasty flaking? are there any moisturizers that are particularly effective? Would an oil help (or would it counteract the purpose of the medication?)
Alright so I don't know what the trick is to find a proper concealer or for that matter any foundation for my skin tone. I had a beauty consultant who helped find me a tarte concealer but I find its really heavy and it looks a little darker than my tinted moisturizer itself. Really confused on how to nail getting correct products for my skin tone. The two products im using are: smashbox camera ready BB cream (light/medium) tarte maracuja concealer (tan) Do have heard that your concealer can be a shade lighter or two?
Hellol I am currently using the NARS sheer glow foundation in the color Mont Blanc. I am looking to purchase the NARS pure radiant tinted moisturizer. I don't know what color I should buy. Can you please help me? Thank you <3
Hello beautiful ladies! I'm a rookie trying to learn how to not look like a clown, so I need advice from you pros. For some reason every foundation I try looks heavy, unnatural on me, and every powder looks cakey. But, recently I tried a sample of Yves Saint Laurent Top Secrets All in One BB cream in medium and it looked gorgeous. I have never tried a BB cream before and this one just looked perfect in my skin. However, after a couple of hours my face started to look oily. So, I figured that perhaps with a good translucent matte powder I can get the finish I'm lookimg for. But with so much variety, how to choose the right one without overspending in trials? Therefore, I would highly appreciate your advice on what translucent matte, non cakey powder may work for me over this bbb cream. Some info about my skin type: I have oily acne prone skin with some scarring in the cheeks, so go non comedogenic and good coverage are a plus. The color of my skin is very fair. Thank you so much in advance!
Hi, Okay so im fairly new to wearing makeup and just bought myself the smashbox bb tinted moisturizer although when I applied it my skin looked really dry and it didn't set in properly im not using any primer, but was wondering what can I do to make it look smoother and also wether I can use my own moisturizer before I use the tinted moisturizer.. im thinking it may help? or is it a bad idea
I am considering trying the Philosophy line. I am 51 years old and have combination skin and no deep wrinkles yet. I tend to get little blocked pores on my forehead so have to stick with a moisturizer than is non-comedogenic. I have looked at all of the information written about Philosophy and dont' see anything stating whether or not it is. Should I assume this means the products are not? Thanks
Can you recommend a product for all over face that produces a golden shimmer (microfine glitter) that would look good with a tan? I am looking at some luminizers, but reviews say the effect is more silvery or glowing instead of sparkly. Again, I prefer a powder that is not actually a bronzer so that I cam wear it over bronzer or wear it even if I don't have a tan. Thank you
Recently i decided to change my powder and i tried diorskin forever compact.I don't use heavy foundation only a bb cream and a powder i also have oily acne prone skin. The powder was pretty good but i think after a few hours it made my skin a bit oily and also it is very pricey for me.Could anyone recommend a powder for full coverage for oily type skin and with less money THANK YOU
I have a very oily t-zone and sometimes acne prone skin. I use the clinique 3-step process and have been using their acne solutions foundation but lately i've realized that by the end of my school day (around 1pm) my makeup looks like its melting and i am constantly dabbing my face because it looks like i am sweating but i'm not. I don't know if this is due to my makeup or due to the fact that i don't use primer or a setting spray. What do you recommend I do?
Good Day! I need some help/advice on a new face wash. Currently stocked in my bathroom is Origins Checks and Balances face wash, but I am finding it a bit harsh on my dry weather confused skin. Some of the best sellers/top rated washers are the Josie Argan Cleansing Oil and the Fresh Soy face cleanser and I just need some input on what I should get to replace my origins for the rainy, cold yet sunny at times, and dry weather we are having. I have really combo skin, really oily Tzone, but DRY flakey cheeks. I've never used any type of oil for my face except for a waterproof eye makeup remover, but I am extremely open to try it. My only skin concerns I have is my combo issue, occasional breakout(guilty of not washing my foundation brush for almost a month. lesson learned. laziness=big pimples that scars) and blackheads. I have tried Philosophy,Clinque, FAB, Bliss and Boscia, but they are just not for me.
