There's no Color IQ for Cover FX drops, but I was matched at P20 by my neck- which I think makes me look washed out and too pink. My pic should be attached of the P20. I'd like to do N20, or even N25 since I think I look so pale in 20. My color IQ is 3y06 and says I'm Light Med Olive in Ardency- which makes no sense because I am Alabaster (2nd to lightest color) in Clinque Stay Matte. I was thinking Light Beige for this brand. I'm trying to decide between the two based on which is best for my sensitive skin, oily t-zone, patchy dry spots and for long wear. I've been wearing the Cover FX for about 4 hours, and it already seems to be breaking up. Help, please.
Does anyone know of a good banana scent conditioner? I heard about the one from The Body Shop, but I read a lot of reviews how it doesn't exactly smell like bananas. I want something that's very moisturizing and leaves my hair really soft, with the sweet scent. Thanks!
Why is there a 2 day delay? Sephora offers 3 day sshippinng. With the substantial amount of money I pay for these items I would think quick shipping would be a must. I needed these items tomorrow early in the morning
I would love mascara recommendations for dry sensitive eyes. I typically wear Clinique High Impact Mascara, but I think I may have developed an allergy to it. Any recommendations and/or feedback from your personal experience would be wonderful. (FYI I have worn Clinique High Impact Mascara for year because it does an awesome job with lengthening and thickening...not because it is dermatologist tested. It really is an awesome mascara.)
Okay I have a problem, I've just started to notice that my underage circles make me look extremely tired. I don't have bags but dark circles. How do I get rid of them or at least hid them. I'm only 18 by the way. I'm also having problems with acne around my chin area is there something I can use to get rid of this? I have an interview at a store and want to look good!! Please Help!!
Hello, I have been using Philosophy's A to Z cream in Light for a long time and it is perfect for me - I have sensitive, dry, very pale skin and this was the only cream that blended well with my coloring, didn't dry me out, and did not irritate my skin. I need something comparable asap since I can no longer find this cream in the Light shade. Please help!
Hi there! Just wondering what everyone was looking to purchase for their mothers for the upcoming holiday? Beauty or non-beauty - I'm looking for some inspiration . My mother, after having a brain tumor ~10 years ago has become quite sensitive to lots of products. She tried my Clinique "Even Better Eyes" and she said it stung! She doesn't wear a whole lot of makeup, but sometimes may apply a smidgen of eyeshadow or some lipstick. Even fragrance wise, she either wears Chanel's eau de toilette (one of the "exclusifs" that Sephora doesn't sell) or Armani's Aqua di Gio (yes, men's cologne), which I totally refuse to buy for her / endorse because that also happened to be my ex boyfriend's fragrance of choice and I'm now averse to that smell lol. At Christmas, I bought her a gift set of hand lotions (which I'm sure she still has plenty of) so I'm trying to think of something different!
hey everyone! so my prom is in two weeks and i have absolutely no idea what to do for makeup. I'm pretty casual about wearing makeup (once a week, foundation and mascara) so the simpler would honestly be the best for me because I have no idea what I'm doing lol. My dress, as described by my sister is "flashy", it's a bright pink with gold detailing on the top I was thinking a sun kissed, barely there look but i have no idea how to get that or what products to use so any ideas would be amaaaazing. thanks a toooon!!!! oh btw this is the link to my dress http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/jr-nites-bead-t rim-cutout-halter-gown?ID=1787327&CategoryID=70148 ...
OK so when I was small my hair and brows were the same color, a pretty much white-blond. My hair has changed into a more golden blond but my brows ...still clear and the hairs are very fine. I've tried to find the right color/ formula to make it look like I haven't bleached them away but they never look natural. I'm really at a loss...what should I use?
Hey guys! I am on a hunt for an antioxidant serum without any lemon/lime/orange/etc. citrus ingredients (I'm allergic). After a few days of major let downs I thought I'd reach out on here hoping for a few recommendations. If you have any that'd be a great help! Thanks!
Hi there, just a warning, i am going to write a novel to give you a background on where I'm coming from and my previous experience with my makeup/skin history. I am admittedly one of those that like to switch things up frequently..so here it goes. I'm in the mood for a new primer, and every so often, I go to sephora, speak to an associate about skincare/makeup, I sample & buy tons of new stuff, usually love most of it, but then after a while I'm like hmm what to try next? The only thing I can say I've truly stayed loyal to is urban decay eye shadow primer, which I've ben using for about 4-5 yrs and even still I'd be willing to try something else if given better suggestions. So I recently switched foundations, and started using Josie Marans argan matchmaker foundation. All based on sephora recommendation I also recently invested in her argan oil light, the pure argan milk, and not to mention her liquid gold self tanner 😊. I also recently started using dr. Brandt microdermabrasion which I got as a sample and love. I also ordered samples of tatcha cleansing oil & gentle rice powder exfoliation...I wasn't kidding when I said I like to try new things..meaning everything!! So as far as primers go, I've tried a ton. Benefit, too faced, hourglass (both types) smash box, dr.brandt, Nars, Tarte, cover fx, and a few other brands not sold at sephora. I'm almost out of what I'm using now and would like to try something new to compliment my new foundation. So as for my skin, it's tricky. In teen years I used t be dry and very acne prone, and then from years of trying to control the acne with everything from proactive to prescription topicals etc.etc. it resulted in over oil production to compensate for the over drying acne products. Now that I'm in my 30's, I've pretty much got the acne & oil issues under control, but now I consider myself combo since it's somewhere in between depending on which way the wind blows and what products I happen to be using at the time. I would prefer something on the natural side, (no harsh chemicals or parabens) but I'm remaining open minded. I Prefer no silicone or oil as I do feel these make me oily. But I've used creamy primers that don't work as well. I feel I need a happy medium, something that will deliver a smooth canvas filling in fine line & wrinkles, as well as mild acne scars, and keep my makeup long lasting for a full work day or night out. I really can't spend more than like $30-40 on a primer considering how many cosmetic products I like to own at once. My biggest thing is makeup going on smooth and lasting long as possible. Also if you could suggest some different eye primer that would help too! Thanks a bunch and sorry for the novel!!
will there be a similar set online this year to the current summer obsessions set that is exclusive to inside JCP. I really wanted this one but my local store is OOS currently. If i remember correcly there is usually a similar version of this set online every year. Any info much appreciated.
hello, everyone I'm 17 and I've been having problems with my skin recently it was really irritated and itchy and super dry but I went to the doctor and they gave me something for it but now it's very dry and oily I stopped using what they gave me but anyways I recently bought mask of magnaminty from lush and one of their toners which works good, my skin feels nice but then I decided to buy a new moisturizer as well for day&night so I went to sephora two days ago and one of the ladies that work there gave me the 'sephora instant moisturizer, more beautiful than ever' I started using it ever since two days ago day and night but my skin looks dry on my cheeks and forehead, and I hate it bc i bought new makeup as well and I don't want the dry parts to stand out. I need any tips to deal with this dry skin and do you think it was the right moisturizer for my skin? and any tips to not make the dry spots stand out when applying foundation? and i currently can't go to sephora so im stuck with whatever i have now. I use to put vaseline at night and it helped kinda. i have 3 events at school this week and i really dont want the dry spots to stand out. also another question, should I cleanse my face with cold water instead of warm from now on? also should I put vaseline at night and then the instant moisturizer during the day? thank you.
I'm looking to change up my skin care routine and try some new products. With summer just around the corner I'm asking for suggestions on the best techniques and products to protect and nourish my skin in the summer heat.
I'm looking into creating a my started makeup kit and I want to use Makeup Forever products and I would like to know what products are a must to have ...I just purchased my first set of MUFE eyeshadows and I'm in love !!!! 😍😍 I just want to know what eyeshadow colors blush lipsticks lip liner anything that's important to have in my kit.
So I get that BB/CC creams are a hybrid product and so they may not perform in all categories as well as their specialized counterparts. I do love the Hourglass and Givenchy primers but they do not offer an color correction. I am looking for a good CC cream that has a good primer that will wear well underneath YSL Fusion Ink Foundation in BD10. I have normal/dry skin and neutral fair. My current Clinique Moisture Surge CC in Natural Fair is great but it feels a little heavy with the YSL on top. Thanks!
I recently used Ole Henricksens Invigorating Night Creme for the first time and it completely dried out my typically baby soft facial skin. I am horrified, it has been almost two weeks since I used it and my skin has never looked worse. Does ANYONE have any suggestions as to how to get my skin back to normal besides moisturizing seven times a day? TIA!
Hi guys! I am currently using Benefit They're Real and was looking for something that has a good hold but not too much and is a little easier to take off. I also wear contacts and notice that after a few hours, the mascara has been bothering my eyes. Any and all suggestions are welcomed. Thanks guys.
Hello all, I've recently really got into skincare. As of right now, I switch off on cleansers. I use Mario Badescu and Cetaphil, depending on whatever I grab first. I use Ole Henricksen truth serum in the morning, along with SuperGoop Sunscreen Serum. I have been using Mario Badescu seaweed night cream. I was wondering if any one has any recommendations to try and an eye cream!!
So about a month ago, I was on spring break in Florida and decided to wear a bathing suit that left me with awkward tan lines around my chest and collarbones. Well, I have a dance to go to in 10 days and my dress is strapless. You can see my problem, right? I've never tried a self tanner and I'm very leery of doing so, but I'm desperate. Some of my concerns about using a self tanner are will it be too dark, how long would it last, and would it be hard to remove if there was an issue? If someone could help me out I'd be very grateful.
