Drugstore foundations Not matching my skin
I have oily skin and I have the Loreal Matte Foundation in 102 shell beige which is the wrong undertone and too dark and the Maybelline Matte foundation in 115 ivory which is the wrong undertone and too dark and orange as well. I bought a foundation whitener and it doesn't seem to help. I have tried mixing the foundations in different combinations to make it match my skin but it didn't work. More than anything they are either too dark or not my skin undertone. There aren't very many foundations in the drugstore good for oily skin. I would buy a foundation from Sephora but I am a broke university student. I am going into a Sephora today to get colour matched and maybe get samples of foundations. What should I do? Try to buy another foundation to mix into the 2 I already have? I just don't want to waste the 2 foundations even though I have already spent the money.

Help Please!
Hey beauties. Okay so i have a huge problem. So my skin is completely crazy. I have acne prone skin, my pimples dont get huge but you can notice them, i have so many acne scars too. Whenever i try putting on foundation, i do everything like everyone else (moisturizer then primer then foundation, for primer is use the Smash box Pore Minimizing one) My face is both oily and dry. But i tend to have dry patches on my cheeks when i put on foundation, like it makes it look cakey, and also you can tell i have dry patches. Is there anyone who had to deal with this? Can you guys please help me out, any tips would be amazing. I honestly sometimes just want to wear makeup and feel pretty but i feel like i can never with this going on.

Allergies, sensitive and dry flaky skin
I'm looking to find new concealer, foundation and mascara, but have a great deal of trouble with sensitive/dry/flaky skin. I also have allergies to Propolis (anything from a beehive- ie;bees wax, honey) sunflower and fragrance. Am I totally out of luck? Most products I've found that tick the allergy boxes, are just horrible on my dry/flaky patches.   TIA

Need help with colors!
I have strawberry blonde hair, hazel (mostly green) eyes, and fair skin (Kat Von D lock it foundation in 44 during the winter.. not sure what my summer color is) and I need help finding a a bronzer that isn't too dark or shimmery, blush that isn't too orangy peach or too pink, and a self tanner for my face and neck that isn't too dark or too orange.  Also, I haven't worn eye shadow in forever because the purple and green colors people usually recommend are always too dark for my comfort. Any suggestions? Preferably specific colors because it's difficult for me to get to a Sephora location so I shop online. Thank you!!!

primer & foundation for large pores and acne

Tools and techniques: Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge
I had never used a cream blush before I used my mom's  Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Rose and absolutely fell in love. Paired it with Bobbi Brown lipstick in Brown...again I'm OBSESSED! AND she gave me both SCORE! Loved the cream look so much that I already bought my second shade in powder pink.   Im not 'm thrilled about applying with my fingers I felt like it wasn't blending for a natural look and when I try to blend it more it looks like a messy mistake. But everyone always says to do it with your fingers and no brush. Am I doing it wrong? I feel like I'd just be more precise with a brush. Any suggestions on which? Bobbi website suggests their full coverage face brush but it's a bit pricey of course.      Also I saw in a video (which I can now not find) that there was a technique for applying blush for people with round baby faces I think it was more of a straight angle. I've never contoured  before but I have a baby face! Is there a tip with cream blush for us puffy cheek girls?

Best Long-lasting primer for normal dry skin?
Hi, I've been reading up on the boards and google, but haven't quite found the answer to my question based on my skin type. I'm looking for a primer that will extend the lasting power of my make up. I use LM Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer on an everyday basis and I'm specifically looking for something that's long lasting . I also finish with UD all-nighter.    I've used Smashbox Photo Finish (liked but haven't tried in a couple of years, didn't notice a huge difference in lasting power), and Hourglass Mineral Veil (it didn't really do much for me, the consistency was a little off as it seems it sometimes can be). I would give either of these another try if that's what's recommended.   I have very good skin (it's normal, with some dry patches sometimes) to the point that when I had my makeup done, the girl kept trying to wipe off my make up, and was shocked when she realized I wasn't wearing any on my face. I'm only saying this because I know one of the draws to some primers is how they smooth out the skin (ex. hourglass), and I'm not really interested in that, I'm simply looking for the best long lasting primer.    Thanks for any and all help
