I am making this thread entirely about Korean skin care products to be used for oily skin. After my daily skin routine every morning, my skin immediately gets greasy after applying toner, moisturizer and cetaphil's moisturizing cream with rose water and glycerin under my eyes. I use Laneige's pore control bb cushion but it still makes my skin oily. Are there any good Korean face mists or skin care that hydrates my skin but gives a matte texture at the same time ? What are some good steps or routines that I should change? I am annoyed with having to go through 1-2 blotting sheets every day
Hello. What color would I be in the pro finish if I was matched to 203 in the duo mat? Currently, I am using the color 'Nude' in the Hourglass Immaculate Powder Liquid Foundation. I want to use the pro finish mainly for touch ups.
Hi, hope you can help! Is the Burburry Cahmere Flawless Soft Matte Foundation oil-free? Also, do you know if this foundation is friendly to sensitive skin that has mild rosacea? Love the foundation yet have noticed my skin does not feel "happy" since I started using it. I have been trying many new products in a short time frame so not sure if the foundation is the culprit or something else. Any info. you have on this foundation and reactions with sensitive skin would be so very appreciated! Many thanks!
HI! I'm looking for my shade in the Estee Lauder double wear foundation and concealer. I currently wear MUFE HD foundation in shade 117 and HD concealer in shade 4. If you know what that would translate to in the Estee Lauder world, I would immensely appreciate it. Thanks!
I have dark spots on my face, especially on my upper lip. It really bothers me as it looks like I have hair there or I have a dirty face. So far nothing has worked in lightening them and they get much darker in the summer, even when I wear susncreen. I've tried prescription hydroquinone, light therapy laser. Hydroquinone didn't help, the laser treatment did for a bit, but they all came back. Does anyone know of a product that can help in getting rid of them? And also a sunscreen that can hopefully help avoid getting them any darker in the summer?
Hi! I am looking to try the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation as I've heard amazing things about it! However my local Sephora doesn't carry Estee Lauder cosmetics (only skincare-boo) so I'm not able to get properly color matched/sampled. I'm willing to buy a full size, but I am not sure which shade to go with. I'm very pale, current foundation is Tarte Amazonian Clay in Fair Beige....and with most foundations I tend to wear the lightest or second lightest shade. Any help/advice would be amazing!!!! -Tanya
I've been searching for the right cleanser and toner for my skin. I have normal to dry skin and most cleansers I've tried make my face feel sticky. I'm constantly buying new skincare and taking them back to the store. I'd like a cruelty free cleanser and toner that helps hydrate my skin. Any help is greatly appreciated
I have very fine hair that is pretty long (halfway down my back). It never really holds a curl. I have to wash it every day, and by the end of the day it usually looks stringy and flat. I'm currently using Biolage shampoo and Humectress conditioner. After washing, I blow dry and wear it down. I'm interested in trying some new products and tools (my blowdryer is actually my mom's and I need one to take to college with me next year). I've tried the Drybar Texas Tea shampoo and conditioner and they seemed to work. Otherwise, I'm kind of at a loss for what to use. There's just so many products out there! Any suggestions or advice? Thanks so much!
I have tried many foundations but now that I am 52, I need something different. I have begun using Orrogold and Perricone skincare and love them, but I need a foundation that: has SPF light/medium coverage blends easily. I am fair skinned w brown hair, brown eyes and of course, some wrinkles. Thank you
I don't really have a need to wear foundation or anything for coverage unless it is just concealer for my dark under eye circles. Is a primer beneficial at this point? Is there a primer to enhance natural features?
Help! I always have redness show through on my chin. No matter how much makeup I apply it always comes through. I always use a primer and nothing helps. If i try and add a finishing powder it just makes my chin dry and skin flaky. I've tried everything and can't keep makeup on my chin!
I have the Makeup forever hd foundation. Is there some sort of primer ( water based i believe it'd have to be right?) or some kind of brush. The foundation when i put it on just sits on top of my skin . Particularly noticeable on my cheeks, nose and sometimes my eyebrows. I moisturize before and sometimes add a face oil. The oil sometimes help but not terribly. I have dryer skin so is this not the foundation i should be using? I like a foundation with coverage because my face can get red so i need coverage
I just had to change my moisturizer from NUDE to REN Clean Skincare. I use the Sunday Riley Night Oil and forgot to ask the store expert if I can continue to use it along with the REN Radiance Perfection Serum at night? If so, which do I use first?
I have tried flash testing from my iPhone camera. Not using the the front face camera. The actual camera from my phone. All the foundations cause a white cast to my face. I've tried MUFE HD foundation , smashbox 15 hour , milani 2 in 1, kat Von d lock it , Mac face & body, Giorgio Armani luminous silk. My mosturizor doesnt have SPF in it. I have tried these foundations with nothing else under or over it to just test the flash back on the foundations. Everything seems to cause a white cast. What am I doing wrong? These foundations shouldn't be causing a white cast.
Hello...I am looking for a foundation. I currently use LM tinted moisturizer. I am looking for a little more coverage. Here's the thing....I like creamy or moisturizing. I find matte too drying. I would prefer no scent, but not mandatory. I have normal, slightly dry, skin, and I don't want a "tan" look. Anything creamy, on the lighter side that feels soft and moisturizing? Medium coverage, and no illuminating to it. Thanks for your suggestions. Lisa
I have tried a lot of different methods and I can not find anything that will cover up my tattoo. I need something that is waterproof for the beach. I have tried Dermablend and tattoo camo and neither one of them worked. My tattoo is on the inner area of my arm so I need something that will not rub off on my clothes.
Hello I am getting married in Cancun Mexico and it so hot and humidityand I am afraid it wont last. I have some oily around my nose. RIght now I wear the nars foundation. Any advice will help. Thank you
Ok, so I know this is NOT how it happened but I swear I feel like I went to bed one night and woke up the next morning with semi-deep forehead wrinkles! I never noticed them before and then BAM - there they were! Does anyone have any recommendations on the best wrinkle fillers/reducers? My skin otherwise looks pretty good for 42 - no "11's", no wrinkles around my mouth, and very minimal 'crows feet'. Just left staring at these lines on my forehead! Please HELP!
