Hi, I struggle with very stubborn skin, my face is extremely oil prone, but if i use to harsh of product it will also peel yet still be very oily, anyways I was using Cliniques Stay Matte Powder Foundation it seemed to soak up excess oil and not cause alot of oil on my face, but now I see that it is no longer being sold. Does anyone have a recommendation for a powder foundation that will keep my face as matte and not oily as possible?? I also use face primer too and that helps a little bit..... Thanks!
I use Guerlain's Lingerie de Peau liquid foundation and on lazy days the LDP BB. I usually use the BB with my fingers (which I hate, but that's what the instructions say) and the foundation with my MAC 190 (flat domed synthetic brush). I've read good things about MAC 187 (stippling brush) which I also have but I just can't see how that works. I have very good results with the 190, but it seems that this style brush is falling out of favor and I'm not sure why. Is there another good brush I can try or should I just stick with the 190 if it's working for me - no streaks, perfect even application, etc. I'm always looking out for the "next best thing" and I guess I'm curious as to what that is.
I have super oily skin, and I hate that by lunch my makeup is pretty much melted off.I have a few big events coming up and I want to look my very best for them and not have to worry about reapplying multiple times. I would like something with staying power that has pretty decent coverage because I do have blemishes on my chin. thanks so much!
Hi, Looking for an all-in-one eye product that helps dark circles as well as PTR Power K, but is more moisturizing. The PTR actually seems to dry the area out more. Had an allergic reaction to Clinique All About Eyes, so please don't reco that one! :-)
Hello! I am new to using blush and have purchased quite a few. I like the matte look more since shimmery shades make my huge pores stand out more. The problem is...I've got very oily skin, so I use an oil-free lotion, then a matte foundation on top and a light dusting of loose powder to set. By the time I apply the Tarte blush, my face looks so flat. I don't know if I am applying it wrong (my face is oval so i'm not 100% on where to place it) or should I be using different products? Maybe a liquid highlighter underneath? I'm so confused and have spent lots of $ trying to get a good combo down. Thanks for your help!
I love the Dior Forever Powder however when the product is nearing the end it crumbles and the compact itself breaks on the hinge. This is the 3rd time I've purchased it, it has happened every time. Although I love the powder the packaging has left me frustrated. If I wear the 030, what would I wear in the Dolce and Gabbana Foundation Powder Compact, am thinking of giving it a try.
I have "hard water" at home and it dries out my hair. No matter how much or how long I leave my conditioner in, it seem that my hair is so dry. It frizzes and also creates a lot of split ends. I do not use any heat for my hair (hairdryer, curler, straightener, etc). What shampoo should I be using to help with this?
I'm having so many problems with lipstick application. Every time I put on lipstick it always settles into my lip lines. I prime my lips with the Bite Beauty Lip Primer and then I line my lips with a lip liner and apply my lipstick of choice and it still settles into my lip lines. I exfoliate my lips but it still doesn't help. What can I do to stop this from happening? Please help.
Okay so I've been having some problems blending out my shadow. They just aren't a dream to blend. I'm also lacking a few good basics. I'm looking for a great palette that has awesome basics, blends easily, and as good transational colors that work well with almost any color. Nothing to cool or warm. I don't mind if it had a couple.non neutral colors. Any suggestions please??? Thanks for your help!
Which MUFE full cover concealer shade should I get to match my Marc Jacobs genius gel super charged foundation in Golden Deep? I'm going to use it to cover up some acne scars not under the eyes. Thanks!
I got my color IQ done and was matched with Urban Decay Naked foundation #4. I love the product! Now I need a really great concealer to go with it. I prefer a tube and not a stick, and my skin is somewhat sensative. It will be used for under eye cirlces ane the occasional blemish. I have used Lancome's Effarneces (sp?) for years and am ready to change it up. Thanks!
I use mainly Perricone products, I am 46 and I do think my skin is in good condition, I take really good care of it. My morning routine is a toner and serium (not Perricone), cold plasma face all over, neuropeptide eye cream, formula 15 on my forehead only, and a moisurizer for oily skin ( I used to use skin clear, which I loved but it's no longer available). My question is do I need to be using the formula 15? I feel I should be using something with retinol at my age, should I use another Perricone product?
I have some older UD lip liners (they were never opened and I just started using them again) in Bruise and Roach. I've tried to find similar colors, but am having no luck! Is anyone familiar with UD enough to remember these? Can you suggest a replacement for me? I've tried Aqua Lips and Bare Escentuals, but neither worked for me. Help? I'm going to run out and I love the color/consistency of Urban Decay. And they don't have any colors like these anymore! Makeup addict problems!!!
I am looking for a really good foundation and setting powder! I am 44, light olive tone, oily, and have uneven skin tone with a few sun spots. I would like some coverage but don't want to look greasy all day. I would like a finishing powder with some color that doesn't settle into my fine lines! Could you please give some recommendations because I can't find anywhere on your site to order a magic wand ))
Hello all! I just started a new skincare routine. Previously I was using drugstore face wash, and moisturizer, and had pretty good skin other than a pimple here and there. Now I've changed over to using a clarisonic the past month (haven't noticed much of a difference at all), as well as starting a new line of skincare from Ole Henrikson just over a week ago. I love the products, but I've been breaking out slightly on my cheeks, and around my chin. and my skin seems like it MIGHT be getting smoother. I have normal skin, with the occasional pimple/s. My question is-- When starting a new skincare routine, is it normal for my skin not to be at its best? Everyone is so divided on "purging" but maybe when you do a complete overhaul such as this, things are different? Do I have to break in the products, or is this line probably just not for me? I know Sephora has a great return policy, but I'd be very embarrassed to return a whole skincare line... and I want to love these products. Any advice/opinions are welcome. What I'm using currently: Clarisonic for Men (normal brush head) (Use 1-2x a day) Ole African Red Tea Foaming face wash Ole Truth Serum Ole Youth Activating Oil Ole Invigorating Night Gel Ole Sheer Transformation Moisturizer Twice a week the Ole Walnut Scrub and Lemon Strip Peel Thanks in advance ladies and gentlemen!
