Hi Everyone, So I need some advice. I'm looking to find a new skincare regimen that actually works. I've used things in the past that have either worked for a bit or have done absolutely nothing. A little bit about my skin. I'm in my mid 20's and have light acne, struggle with uneven texture and have some scarring. My skin is combination and is relatively sensitive. In and ideal world my skincare would clear my acne, even out my texture and lighten my scarring. If anybody has any product recommendations that would target my problems and that you think would work for me PLEASE let me know!! Thanks so much!
I am already using the Rejuvenating Eye Gel and have had AMAZING! results. I need some help in trying to decide whether to purchase the Moisture Bound Refreshing Hydra Gel or the Rejuvenating Creme. Any input is appreciated. Thank you!!
Currently at night I exfoliate a few times a week and then use a toner and a moisturizer, in the morning I just use a daily moisturizer before applying foundation. I am Definitely going to try both the first aid beuty line and the origins, in place of my Body Shop moisturizers! Are there any other products to help relieve dry skin? have you tried the Perricone MD line?
I am looking for an eye primer that will lock in my liner specifically. I have tried NARS, Sephora Collection, Benefit, and Clinique; all work perfectly for eyeshadow, but I still find my liner migrates throughout the day. I have oily skin and prefer to use a gel liner; does anyone have any suggestions or alternate methods to keeping my liner where it belongs? - Irritated Raccoon
I use Stila CC then an illuminating foundation. For a quick makeup time I use cream sticks for highlighting, contouring and cheeks. For a longer time, I use powders. I am told that my makeup looks nice but I would like to achieve a more luminescent look. Is there a finishing spray that is luminescent? I see that you have a new primer. I wondered about that.
Hi, I need some help with my skin. I believe I have dry combination (easily get oily in the T-zone; some dry patches in the cheekbone areas and chin). My face has never been the acne prone type; in fact, I barely had acne before, probably just 1-2 acnes per month. However, just 2 months recently, it has been breaking out more than usual (most of them were pustules and under skin pimples). My face does not break out that much anymore, but there are still marks of discoloration from the previous pimples, and still the under skin ones (I don't want to pop them). I have tried Murah Acne cleaning kit and Glamglow Super Mud but they did not help (the Glamglow Thirsty Mud even left my face break out more!!) Also, I have been struggling finding a moisturizer. I want something light-weight and will not clog pores. I have tried Clinique Dramatically Different but it left my face oily, greasy and made me break out even more. Now I'm using water-based gel cream from Laneige. It does feel cool when applying but it does not moisturize for a long time. My skin is quite sensitive as well. It gets red and irritate quite easily (when it's windy; when I apply makeup or unsuitable skincare products). So it's really hard for me to find an acne treatment and moisturizer. My current skincare: Face wash: Estee Lauder, Neutrogena Acne Cleaning Exfoliator: The Body Shop Seaweed (3 times a week) Toner: Estee Lauder Silky Hydrating Moisturizer: Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream I would be very grateful if you guys could help me to find a treatment for my acne (to get rid of all the under skin pimples) and the discoloration; and an appropriate moisturizer. Thank you very much.
I am currently looking for a new skincare routine for my dry skin and have no idea where to start. I currently use the hydrating toner, morning and night cream from the Body Shop but I feel like my makeup is not going on well at all and I can definitely feel the dryness creeping its way through! I do need an under eye cream and any other skincare product recommendations you may have to create a hydrated flawless complection! Thank you!
Hi! I am 26 years old and I am unsure of what type of products I should be using to take care of my skin now. I have combination skin (oily t-zone, especially after wearing makeup). Currently, I use a cleanser, vitamin c moisturizer in the morning, toner with glycolic acid at night, and a serum at night. However, I think the products I am currently using are too drying, and I'm looking to change things up and want to make sure I choose what I use correctly. I want to be proactive to keep my skin looking good for as long as possible, but I know it's not good to use powerful anti-aging products too soon as they can thin out your skin and end up having the opposite effect. So, help! What type of products should I be using, and when should I be using them?
When I don't wear makeup I am normal/ slightly dry. When I put makeup on I am oily by the end of the day the only foundation I can get away with is Estée Lauder DW. Please give me any suggestions for moisterizers, skincare, foundations, primers, the whole nine yards. Also, what skin type does it sound like I have? I like a more matte finish in foundations but a natural matte. Thanks for the advice!!
I saw a tinted gel that I'd like to purchase, but it has ten shades, and I don't know which shade to choose. I also want to purchase a concealer, but am having the same problem regarding the correct shade. I was at Sephora recently, and they did some type of computer imaging, and gave me my correct shade for two foundations, which are right on, and I really love. The foundations are: Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation Matting Oil Free, and Amazonian Clay 12-hour Full Coverage Foundation. The shade for Immaculate is: Sable, and the shade for Amazonian is: Tarte. Thanks for any suggestions.
I really do not like applying mascara. I have tried going to a salon for individual extensions. I was not impressed - for the price of a full set and the costly refills, they did not look that great. The girl applying the extentions told me my natural lashes are "twisted" and growing in different directions. I love the idea of false eyelashes that I do not need to mess with and can skip the mascara application. Any suggestions for my "twisted" lashes?.
I'm looking to use Becca products to create an everyday makeup looksI just need opinions on what foundation (between a light to medium coverage) blushes, highlighters and bronzer anything from Becca that would look well with my skin tone (Tahoe in NARS or 1Y11) if using a powder foundation would putting a moisturizing primer before the foundation help keep my skin from feeling dry throughout the day.
I bought Korres Milk Proteins Foaming Cream Cleanser and now I am almost out. I don't see it in your skin care line anymore. Any suggestions for a replacement? My face always feels wonderful with this cleanser and now don't have a clue what to buy to replace it.
I live in a tropical climate where most people don't have central AC. How can I store my beauty products, especially make-up, to keep them from going bad or bring ruined by the heat and humidity? I sometimes get trial sizes when I can, but that's not an option for everything nor is it available for everything. I also thought of putting a make-up bag in my purse and carrying it around with me, but I'd rather not have to. What do you guys do or what do you think would help? Also, how much affect do the heat and humidity have on different products?
i recently got a job as a pharmacy cashier at my local rite aid. our work outfit is a blue shirt with khaki pants. what are some good hair and makeup ideas that would go along well with those clothes? Thanks, Sarah
I'm wanting to wear a little makeup for my wedding. I actually haven't worn any since high school and that was years ago. I have my stylist who will put it on for me but I have to bring my own. If I visit a store can they help me with finding products I need to buy so I look natural and not over. Done?
I am 60+ and my skin has become extremely dry especially around my eyes and mouth area. I now have wrinkles that I did not have 6 months ago. I'm trying many products, but so far nothing has worked that I am able to notice. I know that I'm looking for a miracle in a jar, but with all these products, there should be something that works.
I'm looking for NARS products that I can use on a daily basis as everyday makeup for myself I work at a daycare but I still like to have my face put together and beautiful when I'm talking with my toddlers parents I know what foundation( Color IQ 1Y11 TAHOE in NARS Sheer Foundation ) I can use for everyday use but I'm looking for two blushes, bronzer, highlighter and a lipstick/lipgloss that was not so bold.
Lately my face has been feeling more on the greasy side. I have combination, oily t-zone skin with active breakouts and discoloration. I am interested in trying First Aid Beauty or Philosophy but unsure which line would be better for me. I would like a new full regimen please (cleanser to sun protection, including mask, etc)
I have very fair skin (Mac NW15) and am trying to choose the best shade of the Ambient Lighting face powder, to blur imperfections and brighten, and work with my skin tone. I would be using it alone (no foundation). Have been trying to decide between Mood Light and Luminous Light. Advice?
I want to get the Tarte blush in exposed but I am not sure if it will show up on my skin. I wear MUFE HD foundation in 173. I would appreciate suggestions for other natural/neutral toned blushes from Tarte and other brands. Thanks
