So I usually have extremely oily skin but due to the recent weather change (or at least I think so) my face has become very dry. This is the first time I have experienced dry skin and I need some help finding a moisturizer, or frankly anything that can get rid of this problem! Please help
I have been slathering my lips with glosses, balms, and oils all day long and they keep getting worse and worse. It all started this morning when I woke up with bright red, blistered lips with skin peeling. We had a storm in DC last night so the air is drier and colder--could this be the culprit? Has this happened to anyone else? Any recommendations? I will try ANYTHING!! It's 4am and I can't sleep because my lips are so painful from the skin cracking and peeling.
Hey guys, So I placed my order online using the $20 off $50 promotion way early in the morning when I received it on the Lorac pro palette, and 5 days later they tell me it's cancelled because it was out of stock! I presumed sephora would have a better inventory system with such a big online market in which products would be marked out of stock immediately if there isn't any stock left. I just think that was absolutely ridiculous. Rant aside, will my $20 off $50 still work on an in-store purchase since my order got cancelled? Thanks, Michelle
Hi! So I'm a starter in makeup and I need your advice on ways to cleanse the makeup brushes once we use them. Is there fast and easy ways to clean them? This is because I have a wedding and Christmas event to attend and the dates are really near each other. Please help, thanks!
I'm struggling to find a great high SPF sunscreen (30 or more) which is non-greasy but without that awful ashy look. I like how the shiseido ultimate sun protection cream (50+ SPF) is not greasy but this still gives me a white cast. Neurotrogena's sunscreen was good as well but I had to reapply too often to stop from getting burnt. Any recs appreciated!
I'm looking for a good oil-free moisturizer for my acne prone skin. I've tried Kate Somervile Oil-free moisturizer and Origins Planscription SPF 25 in oil-free but both made me feel greasy. I used Origins Checks and Balances, United State, Dermadoctor Aint Misbehavin Serum. Do moisturizers with the SPF in them tend be be greasier? I would like some recommendations with SPF and without SPF
Hey, I was wondering when the Urban Decay Naked3 will be in stores tomorrow? one of the store associates told me 930am (when they open) and another store associate from the same store told me that the pre launch starts at 9pm. Also Sephora's twitter said 830pm. Which is the correct info? Thanks!
Makeup brushes have been on my mind with all these threads going around. I looked at reviews and such, and I think I want to start building a collection of Hakuhodo brushes. I want to start with basic eyeshadow brushes. So what do people recommend? Natural hair or synthetic? What styles of brush do I need for fairly basic eyeshadow application? I have a set of Sonia Kashuk ones that I don't really know what everything is for (I can guess with most of them, but I'm not sure I'm guessing right). Any education would be helpful. Thanks!
Please help, no matter what I do my lips are always dried and chapped. I hate it because I have a huge lipstick collection and I cant use them because it looks bad with my torn lips. What can I do? Please help.
I currently use Kate Somerville Deep Tissue Repair K8 cream. I absoloutely love it-but not the cost. I am looking for an alternative eye cream (that also can be applied to eyelids/not irritate or tear up eye) that is moisturizing and costs less than $100. Any good suggestions? Thanks ladies!
Hi, I'm interested in trying the Tarte Amazonian Clay, but I don't know what color I would be I currently use Make Up Forever Mat Velvet in 35 if that helps. I'm also acne-prone, oily, and have very sensitive skin!
Hi, M skin is naturally oily, sometimes super oily in t zone but normal to dry on cheeks. Due to acne medication on lower cheeks to jaw line, this part is extremely dry. So, I need a make up product that gives me the coverage for those acne/red spots, plus wont be dry on the already-so-dry areas due to acne creams. However, I need something that won't make the acne worse. Also, it has to be non-oily because of the naturally-oily skin I have. it is very hard to find something like this. I need oil control in T zone and upper cheeks but moisturizing but non clogging in the lower cheek to cover my acne/red spots. I think I better go with bb/cc cream or tinted moisturizer instead of foundation. Please help. thanks.
I have oily skin, more oil in T zone, but also oily in top cheek area (the part of the cheeks that's closest to nose/eye.) BUT, the part of the cheeks that's further down (below cheekbone until past jawline) is very dry! I have a hard time finding a good moisturizer for this type of skin. I need oil control in the middle but moisture in the bottom. I use acne medication in the jawline area and chin area that makes it even more dry. I wonder if the IBUKI moisturizer would be hydrating enough for this or do you have another suggestion? thank you!!!!!
