I have never worn make up in my entire life before but all my friends started young around sixteen. Now as a college student, I want to be able to look fresh have that everyday look( and not like a high school student) I only use a toner, moisturizer, and BB cream in light beigh. My Asian skin tone is pretty light/ almost pale but my skin type is oily. I have sensitive eyes as well. I just want advice on what oil free make up products I can use with neutral colors for my face, best oil free BB cream ? I do not want false eye lashes since they're very difficult to put on, best mascara? lip gloss, lip stain, or lip pencil? ( i like a pink shade to match my lip color) I love using EOS lip balms btw! However, I am afraid of to eye shadow for my monolids because I'll look like a clown lol!
Hi, so I bought the Clarisonic Mia 3 K-Beauty set for $199 on the 23rd of November. I haven't even received my package yet and realised that the price has dropped to $140. That's a $59 price difference and I was wondering whether I could get a price adjustment on this? Or does Sephora really need me to return it and repurchase it again? Thanks!
Has anyone gotten a sample of an eyeshadow pallette? If so, please send picture of your sample! I really am in need of a new eyeshadow pallette. Half of my colors have been used to the very bottom. I wanted to test some new ones out, but i wasn't sure if the samples are enough for you to do at least one look with them. Please send pictures if you have gotten a sample! Thanks!
I don't like sticking my fingers into products that are in jars/pots. A lot of my daily favorites come in little pots. Now that I am half way through the pot, it is hard to get the product out without rooting around in there (ugh). I just ordered a little metal spatula but am wondering if there are better/preferred tools out there. Any suggestions? Thanks!!
How do I set my makeup correctly? I don't like wearing foundation, but I have extreme dark circles, so my regualr routine is prime under my eyes and cheeks, then layer another undereye primer, then apply the NARS concealer. After that I use my ring finger to pat it out, following with a thin layer of the FX face powder. The result up-close gives me a dotty, powderey look (really obvious I'm wearing makeup). How do I make my makeup look more natural up close??
I recently found out that Sephora has 2 different sample containiers. I dont mean to sound greedy, but they always give me samples in the clear plastic containers, and I find it harder to get only a small amount of the product out of their plastic containers. Especially when trying out a concealer. I dont usually use that much concealer. I dont want to sound rude at all EVER, but i would prefer if they gave me samples in their black capped containers since they alow me to use enough product without wasting them, and also, i can use the product for more than 1 day, which i definitely need. Once again, I don't want to sound picky, or rude.
I really want to try out some eyeshadow palettes, in particularly the nudes. Does sephora give samples of those? Plus, what foam applicator would you use with that? I always use their disposable applicators when testing new products, because once, my skin was breaking out because of a foundation i tried, but i used my own brush, and a bit of the product was left on the brush. I had to throw it away. Any advice?
Can I ask for a handful of their disposable mascara wands? They make for really good brow fixers, but as a 12 year old, would they give you them? I mean they are free for you to use in the store... I don't want to sound cheap, but they are the best brow fixers i have tried.
Hello, I want to purchase the tarte powder foundation but i'm a little lost on which color to get. I am a mac NC 30-35 currently, I also used bare minerals original foundation in golden medium. Thanks!
What are some good BB creams with medium to full coverage for dry skin that leave a dewy finish? Are there any that won't cost me like $100? Also I have pretty cool-toned skin so is there anything that won't make me orange?
I'm 19 and I have sensitive/combination skin. I realized my skin has been looking dull because of college stress and I wanted to know what can I use to give my skin a glow again but won't break me out since I have sensitive skin ?
I am currently wearing Make up Forever, Duo Mat Powder foundation in shade 203 (as chosen by a beauty expert at Sephora in store location). am currently living 4 hours from the nearest location and want to order Kat Von D's Lock it foundation but need help selecting the perfect shade based on my most recent purchase. Can you please help?
Hello! I've recently taken to contouring my nose (or rather trying to) and I am using a powder contour because of my oily nose. I put it in all the assigned places and blend it (keeping in mind these are all the right colors and it's an actual pallet too) with a large, fluffy brush. I like to keep this natural, also. I find that although right after doing it, it looks amazing, like a nose job. But after doing my eyes and lips, which takes less than twenty minutes it begins to fade and look muddy. Is there any reason why this is happening? If so, what should I do, and please don't recommend products because I have literally no budget. Thanks for the help! EDIT: Sorry if my wording is confusing, I was writing this in a hurry! It looks muddy right after blending no matter what I do, and I want it to actually work, so I was wondering what I can do to blend it nicely and make my nose look smaller. Thank you so much!
I was just wondering if the Tarte Light of the Party palette is still available? It's not on the Sephora website anymore and from what I heard, not in stores either. I hope it's truly not gone, does anyone know?
I'm looking for a new eyeliner, as the one I used to use has sadly been retired by Sephora. It was from the Flashy Liner Waterproof range from Sephora, in Flashy Black Purple. It looked amazing on my green/hazel eyes, and I'm having a tough time finding a replacement. Any thoughts?
I made a return through the mail, and it was received by sephora on November 2nd ((thanks to my tracking number)). I have not heard anything from sephora and it has been more than 3 weeks. I am wondering what is the normal wait time for returns via mail.
