I am currently using Urban decay weightless ultra foundation 3.5.....it matches great but would love to try the new Stellar foundation. Has anyone else with these tones switch and if so, what match shade 😀😀😀
Hi I'm basically a very old skincare novice, completely clueless (you'll probably see another post from me about makeup haha). I'm trying to take better care of myself so I'm starting with my skin. I'm 33 and my 2nd son aged me probably 10 years. I've done the sporadic facial, the sephora mask, cheap and expensive products based on Sephora recommendations but there's no plan or consistency really. I need help building a routine. My skin is ok for the most part, I would say normal although I have no idea what's the criteria to label it otherwise :/ My biggest concern is my eyes, since the birth of my son last year they took a big hit...bags, wrinkles, dark circles. The other concern is that my freckles (On cheeks and nose) are merging together and creating age spots...dark spots? I was always happy with them now I'm super self-conscious. Would you lovely ladies help me with advice for someone my age? Probably a step by step daily routine with product recommendations? do i need a peel, mask? dermatologist visit? when to do facials? I don't want to say there's no budget , but this is very important to me (I got hit with PPD hard) so I'm prepared to make an investment
I am looking to upgrade my Chi straightener that I have had for 4 years. I have my options down to the drybar straightener or the T3 Luxe straightener. I have very thick corse hair. Can someone please tell me what one they recommend?
Hey guys! So I've recently gotten obsessed with skincare and bought a few Sunday Riley products. However, I am wary about mixing ingredients since I have sensitive skin. In the AM, I use the Pixi Glow Tonic (glycolic acid) followed with SR UFO oil, Ole Henriksen Truth Serum (vitamin C) then moisturizer. In the PM, I again tone with glow tonic, then use SR Good Genes (lactic acid) then moisturizer. I have heard that you should NEVER mix glycolic and lactic, but I also know there are products with both in them.... I've also heard to not mix a retinol with lactic acid, yet SR advertises to use Luna oil (retinoid) with Good Genes....... so which is correct? Help!
Hello My cousin really loves how I do makeup and wants me to do hers for her wedding. I am good at makeup but I am no makeup artist. I did a practice run on her and it turned out fine. What do you recommend to make this really look like a professional did it.
I was using MUFE HD Invisible Cover Concealer, color 305. Huge fan of it, the only concealer that has ever matched my tone and worked the way I needed it to- but I've just discovered that it has been discontinued Can you please tell me if the new MUFE Ultra HD line has a color that would the color that the HD #305 was? Thank you!
I have a medium skin tone and I'm thinking of purchasing the new Benefit Cheek Parade because I don't have any blush/highlight palette yet. I have medium to dark skin though, so I'm worried that Hoola won't be useful to me as a bronzer, or the Dandelion just plain won't show. Can I use the Rockateur as a highlight? Is this palette worth it or will I just end up with colors I can't use? Would you recommend the colors here for people with medium to dark skintone? (I'm NC35, Estee Lauder Tawny) All the videos show girls with fair caucasian skin so I'm worried that even if it looks good on them, it won't on me. 😅 Spoiler (Highlight to read) Spoiler (Highlight to read) Spoiler (Highlight to read) If you wouldn't recommend this, can you recommend me a good blush/highlight/contour palette under $75? I have combination skin that can get a bit oily so maybe powder would be a better choice.
I heard a lot about this powder but I'm not sure whether to buy it or not. I have dry skin so I like to look dewy/radiant. The shades for my foundations are MUFE ultra hd foundation 117, tarte rainforest of the sea fair light neutral, and too faced born this way pearl. Which "shade" would you reccomend? Or if this powder is not suited for dry skin, then what other powders are good? (I just want to set my makeup but not look satin or matte afterwards)
Hi! These past couple of months I have been using cheaper makeup brands. Now, my skin is starting to react badly to them. I don't break out, but my skin feels like it is burning. I am looking for face products like foundation, concealer, color correctors, and powders (translucent/setting powder and regular face powder). Brands, tips, and any other helpful advice are very much appreciated. Thank you!
Hey guys! so i was looking into these pallet's and I really like them both. I do like Becca's highlighters, but i haven't really used their blushes. Can anyone do a pros vs cons for these two pallet's for me?
Hi there! Is there an up-to-date list of silicone-free sephora products? It's been asked before, but it doesn't look like there's ever been a comprehensive answer. I'm specifically looking for foundations, concealers and primers to try for my oh-so silicone-sensitive (dermatologist-tested) skin, and for others with the same sensitivities. Thanks!
So there is this product: http://www.sephora.com/beauty-genius-clear-waterproofing-gel-P384062?skuId=1578731&country_switch=ca It says its ingredient is silicone resin. Lots of people have been saying its the best thing ever to transform any lipstick into a non transfer lip. My question is this, IS is safe if you accidently consume it? I'm not talking about like putting it on your tongue, but if you're placing it on your lips, is that safe? I was trying to look it up. It did say that it could damage your lungs if consumed but I'm not sure if its referring to the same thing? There is information on silicone and resins, lots about silica, but the answers are different... So specifically silicone resin I only found one possible article but I wanted to know if someone might know more?
Hello everyone, I want to ask advice for picking the right eyeshadow for myself. I actually own the NAKED Basics and Baked Eyeshadow (PK03) from The Face Shop and I would like to add another palette to my very small collection. I'm very much into simple eyeshadow makeup, something that I can wear on a daily basis. But I'd also want something to wear in some special occasions but again, nothing too dramatic. I was looking at NAKED 3 I really love the colours and I don't mind the pink since I've heard that the palette is subtle(pigment) compared to the first two palettes but I'm not sure if it's a great choice for myself. I'm an NC35 (yellow undertone) with a very dark brown hair and also dark brown eyes (southeast asian). Which palette's would you guys suggest? The highest I can go is $70. Thanks!
I am going to Mexico in June and I always wear a light foundation at night. Any recommendations on a foundation that won't melt off? I got married in Mexico but I wanted a fuller coverage so I know that Estée Lauder Double Wear is amazing. I also use it all the time but like I said just something lighter. TIA
