I'm Asian with tan/ olive skin and black hair. I'm interested in the Anastasia brow powder duos but am unsure of which color to get. I prefer my brows to be about 1-2 shades lighter than my hair color, something that doesn't look harsh and looks very natural. Right now I'm leaning towards the colors brunette/dark brown and ash brown. Would either of these work or would another color be better?
I bought the becca shimmering skin perfector in opal today about an hour ago at my local sephora, but when i got home and opened it. it was broken is there a possiblity i could go back and exchange it for a new one? i've never tried this highlight and really wanted to try it out but not when its broken :/
Hello! I have been looking for a new skin care regimine and have been out of luck after buying expensive recommendations that do nothing at all. My skin is very dry but I don't like an extremely dewy look with my makeup! I have heard of the Sanitas skin care and although it is not well known I have heard great reviews, has anyone tried this line or have a recommendation for other products in an dry skin care routine?
Hello all I would like to try a new powder. I've been using Cover FX Blotting powder in medium over my foundation and BB cream. My skin type is oily that's why I would like a powder or blotting powder whatever they are called these days lol. Thanks for the help! Also if you could recommend a face brush along with the powder that would be great
I need help! I feel like I have tried every foundation out there and I have yet to find my holy grail foundation. I am looking for a full coverage, matte foundation that will make me look every bit the photo-shopped, airbrushed beauty I see in the Sephora.com pictures. I have tried Lancôme Teint D'Idole (beautiful, but made my face break out), MUFE Mat + Mattifying (just no), Tarte (too thick), NARS Luminous (not matte enough), Hourglass (not full coverage enough), Cover FX (not full coverage enough), Urban Decay Naked (very close and might be my go-to if I can't find anything better)... I am thinking of trying one of these next... what would you recommend? Or is there something out there that I'm missing? Or should I go to a powder foundation? - Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Flawless Fluide - Smashbox Studio Skin 15 hour Wear - Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Foundation - MUFE HD Invisible Cover
I use the Eminence line of skincare Products; so I am looking for a good mineral foundation and/or tinted moisturizer that is natural as well. I am 47 with aging skin, but I treat it well. Occasional breakouts due to menopausal hormonal changes. Have heard Tarte is good, but would like a professional opinion.
I currently use the Vichy dermablend foundation (# 15 opal in the winter and #25 nude in the summer) and am thinking of moving over to the makeup forever invisible cover. are you able to help with what would be a comparable shade(s)?
I am a neutral fair who likes to look as solid white/fair as possible (think porcelain doll). I currently use Make Up Forever- Mat Velvet No. 15. What could be a good full coverage concealer? I really struggle with concealer not making my few blemishes look orange or like a random dark spot.
Does anyone have any suggestions for dupes? I really like the product but not the price tag for the amount you get. I've purchased the .5 oz twice now (is currently $22) and like the results but would love a cheaper alternative, hopefully one with more product that is more bang for your buck.
I saw my dermatologist this past weekend to see what options I have for acne scars. Of all the treatments, he said laser would be most effective (three treatments of it). Has anyone had this procedure done? If so, did it work? Are the results permanent? Was it painful? Any feedback/input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Why am I breaking out around my mouth? My current regimen consists of Kate Somerville's Detox Cleanser, Clarifying Toner, Antibac, and Daily Deflector Moisturizer. Over the past week, I started breaking out around my mouth. I've been experiencing cystic breakouts on my cheeks and jawline but now I'm getting many breakouts around my mouth. Any suggestions on why this is happenening?
Hi guys, so I've read that just using a BB cream often isn't good enough in terms of providing protection from the sun. I am just wondering, if I use a sunscreen, daily moisturizer, and then apply my make up, what order do I do these things in? Thanks!
So I'm stuck in a rut trying to figure out if I should continue with my current Origins regimen or try something new, such as Belif. I have combination oily skin. I'm currently using from Origins the Checks & Balances face wash, Zero Oil Toner, Gin-zing Moisturizer, and Original Skin serum. My face just doesn't feel the greatest after I'm done my routine aka my acne is still evident and my nose is still shiny. Should I switch to Belif, if so what should I use? Or should I keep using Origins and maybe switch a few products? Please help! <3
Hi, so I am in desperate need of a new foundation.. I tried using Double Wear because someone had recommended it to me. I have combination skin, and I need medium to full coverage. After applying it (I used a brush; then tried a beauty blender), it looked perfect. However, in an hour it would dry up on my nose and blotch up. I used several different primers to see if it would help (clinique, smashbox, benefit). Nothing helped. Then, a makeup artist recommended smashbox hydrating to me.. This wore off in less than 2 hours. It looked terrible.. Before trying higher end stuff I used Revlon Colorstay for combination/oily. It worked OK, but it just doesn't stay as long as I need it to. So help! I'm not sure if I'm applying it wrong, or what primers I should be using, or what foundation would be best for me. I am a hairstylist, normally working 6-7 hour shifts, and I would love it if my foundation could make it through the shift. Thank you so much!
hi… i been having a lot of trouble with my t zone lately. i do have oily/combo skin. when i apply foundation especially to my chin and upper lip area, i find that it breaks up and shifts within the hour. my skin looks cracked. i tried several primers as well. my skin care consists of ole henriksens 3 wonders kit.. his green face wash and toner. im not sure what i should be doing or how to treat this issue. any ideas???
I would like to try the Estee Lauder double wear foundation but I need advice as to which shade.I wear ginger in the Bare MInerals complexion rescue. I looked at their matches but this foundation is not among them.
I have very oily skin and currently use Josie Maran Argan Oil Light as a moisturizer only at night time. I'm interested in the Drunk Elephant skincare line and was looking at their Virgin Marula Oil and Gycolic Night Serum. Which would you suggest is best for oily skin to use as a light moisturizer? Is the serum considered a moisturizer? Or do you think the oil I currently use (Josie Maran Light) would still be more suitable for my skin type? Thank you!
My color IQ is 2Y06 which leads to Make up for ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation in the color of 118 Flesh. So I am looking for a good concealer to match that color and blends very well into the skin. Please help... Thank you!
I bought the 2 day flash shipping last week and my order came within the 2 days. I made an order yesterday and it says it will be delivered on Thursday... The item has already been sent out and on it's way so I'm not sure why it's going to take over 4 days to get here when it should be 2 days. It says that items ordered on Saturday or Sunday will arrive by Wednesday so I'm not sure why it's going to take 1 extra day for it to arrive.
Hello everyone! I've been eying the Sugar Pop palette for a while. The colors are gorgeous, bright, and sooo fun looking, but before I decide to buy it, I was wondering what you guys thoughts are on this palette? Pros? Cons? Thanks!
I have oily to combination skin with blackheads and pores in the t-zone. For summer, I am interested in trying Caudalie Beauty Elixir, but the reviews are very mixed. Some reviewers said it dried out their face and created a stinging/burning sensation because it contains alcohol which they said is harmful for the skin and damages it. Some people had an aversion to the fragrance, but that's not an issue for me. I would like accurate feedback on the effect of Plant Origin Alchohol on the skin since this is listed as the number two ingredient. Thanks!
