Hi lovelies! I got an email ostensibly from Sephora stating that my Hall of Famer package has shipped. Now, I have gotten sample packages from Sephora before, but usually I get a PM stating that this is going to happen. I'm thinking this is phishing. Anybody else get this??? Thanks in advance!!!

I never even thought about wearing foundation. I thought that it would be uneccessary since my skin is fairly okay. I do have acne (mostly blackheads and a few white heads), skin discoloration, and very dark under eye circles. I have also been battling oily skin (sorry to sound extreme lol). I've found nothing really has solved the problem. I currently have found products that help, however my makeup continues to slowly vanish throughout the day. Today at UltaI tried the Amazonian Clay 12 hour full coverage foundation and I fell in love with it! It really made my complexion look so amazing and I was told by the consultant it could potentially keep me even more matte. How anyone with oily skin tried this and liked it? The problem is I am only 15, and I heard once you start wearing foundation you really can't stop. I don't want to mess up my skin and I don't feel I need full coverage. Thoughts? And yes, I have tried Tartes tinted moisturizer/ BB creme and I like it, but I feel it may not keep me as matte and it didn't look as good as the foundation. Wow sorry I've written so much!
I just got a sample of the Dennis Gross extra strength AB peel pads. Can I use this on the same night as P50 or Good Genes? My skin is pretty accustomed to AHAs. Also should the AB pads go on bare skin or can I use a toner first?!
I'd like a recommendation for a foundation. I have combination dry skin, and my dry patches seem to show with heavier foundations like Urban Decay All Nighter. I also have a mild case of acne, and would like a medium-to-full coverage, and preferably one that won't make my acne much worse. I go to school, so would prefer a long-wearing one that won't move when used with primer and setting spray. I'd also prefer one with a more natural finish. As much as I like matte makeup, I think most will settle into the dry patches in my face. The foundations I have tried have been Urban Decay All Nighter, Urban Decay Naked, and Fit Me in Matte.I found that all of these, with Naked being the least severe and All Nighter the most, seem to emphasize my dry patches, and I find the All Nighter, as pretty and full-coverage as it looks when it's first put on, seems to bunch in places like my nose by the end of the day. Thank you for helping me!
I am NC30-35 and have medium olive skin with peach undertones. These are my shades in other foundations. I recently bought Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in Sand, but I feel like it's too dark on me. Could you recommend a different shade? Also, what would you recommend in the new Tarte Clay Stick Foundation ? I currently use the Hourglass Vanish Stick foundation and am the color Light Beige. Nars Sheer Glow - Punjab or Santa Fe NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer - St. Moritz Tarte Amazonian 12-hr Full Coverage Clay Foundation - Tan Deep Sand Tarte Amazonian clay full coverage airbrush foundation - Medium Tan Sand Laura Mercier Silk Creme - Bamboo Beige Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer - Sand CHANEL PERFECTION LUMIERE VELVET - 30 Beige Benefit Cosmetics 'Hello Flawless!' - 'I'm So Money' Honey Hourglass Vanish Stick and Immaculate Foundations - Light Beige
Hello All, I am looking for a under eye brightner that looks natural, stays on all day, and is noticeable and gives effect. I have an oily skin type so I need something that won't slip and slide. Thank you!!!
This is my typical night time routine: OLEHENRIKSEN the clean truth foaming cleanser OLEHENRIKSEN invigorating night transformation gel OLEHENRIKSEN invigorating night transformation creme Stupid question: Can I use my AMOREPACIFIC treatment toner after the cleanser but before the gel? And also, once or twice a week I would do this for night time: OLEHENRIKSEN the clean truth foaming cleanser Exfoliator Mask OLEHENRIKSEN invigorating night transformation gel OLEHENRIKSEN invigorating night transformation creme Just want to make sure the mask is incorporated in the right place.
I am currently using Urban decay weightless ultra foundation 3.5.....it matches great but would love to try the new Stellar foundation. Has anyone else with these tones switch and if so, what match shade 😀😀😀
So I absolutely love the Cover FX foundation, I personally use the natural finish foundation in N10. It matches me so well, looks so natural and beautiful, but it's really getting on my nerves. Every time I wear it I can't seem to properly powder, seal or do anything to keep it from transferring like crazy. I've tried a few different powders, several techniques, but nothing seems to work for me. The only one I haven't tried at the moment is the Cover FX powder, but mostly because I've had others on hand already and didn't want to spend more money on new powder when I had several. I really don't want to switch foundations since I love this one so much, but I'm truly at a loss after speaking to so many people and seeing no results. PS, I have tried powdering the foundation with the mineral foundation, and it didn't work for me at all. I've also tried makeup forever and cinema secrets.
Hello there! went in for some suggestions for my wedding day and the makeup artist suggested Buxom Ruby temptress for me. I love it and was looking for a lip liner that someone might suggest to use with this. I also noticed I tend to wear out the lipstick quickly and have to reapply. Are they any other long lasting wear solutions that would be similar in color to the ruby temptress? Thank you.
Hi I'm basically a very old skincare novice, completely clueless (you'll probably see another post from me about makeup haha). I'm trying to take better care of myself so I'm starting with my skin. I'm 33 and my 2nd son aged me probably 10 years. I've done the sporadic facial, the sephora mask, cheap and expensive products based on Sephora recommendations but there's no plan or consistency really. I need help building a routine. My skin is ok for the most part, I would say normal although I have no idea what's the criteria to label it otherwise :/ My biggest concern is my eyes, since the birth of my son last year they took a big hit...bags, wrinkles, dark circles. The other concern is that my freckles (On cheeks and nose) are merging together and creating age spots...dark spots? I was always happy with them now I'm super self-conscious. Would you lovely ladies help me with advice for someone my age? Probably a step by step daily routine with product recommendations? do i need a peel, mask? dermatologist visit? when to do facials? I don't want to say there's no budget , but this is very important to me (I got hit with PPD hard) so I'm prepared to make an investment
Hi there, I'm getting married in October and I really want to wear a classic red lip that I won't have to reapply every 10 minutes. I have cool undertones and am very pale and I've tried some red lipsticks that say they are cool undertones and they still just don't seem right. Even the Sephora Liquid Lipstick in their Always Red doesn't seem to be the one for me and it's supposed to be Universal. I want one that makes my teeth look whiter. Any suggestions?
This might be a pretty dumb question but here I go! So I have been recently revamping my makeup routine. I am a teacher and need something that I can apply quickly while still having good coverage throughout the day. A ton of glam vloggers use a pressed powder (with color) after applying foundation and a translucent loose power after blending concealer. Are both of these powders necessary or could I just stick with one? Currently using the Laura Mercier translucent powder and don't know if I need to add another. Thanks! Also, is highlighter a must for a basic everyday look?
I got a sample of the Dior Jelly Mask and I love it, it makes my skin feel so soft after I wash it off. However, the price is pretty high, and I was wondering if there are any masks that are similar and a little cheaper.
hello All, I hope you are all doing well, I am looking for a natural looking light coverage luminous healthy sun-kissed glow cream bronzer that stays on all day with my oily skin. Thank you. I was also looking for a super natural bbb or cc cream that has sheer to light coverage and looks like healthy skin and hopefully something extremely similar to the smash box camera ready bb water. THANK YOU!!!! .
Hello! As you know Benefit has came out with several brow kits. But I'm pretty new when it comes to brows. And to be honest, I'm really not sure what's the difference among them. Do you guys have any recommendations on which kit would be best? Or if you have other good brow products, please share too!
I am looking to buy a new foundation online but don't know what shade would be right for me. I just finished a bottle of NARS light 1 that matched me very well but am looking for a new one to try out. Any suggestions? Skin is combination and medium coverage is preferred but not necessary
I need to switch up my skincare routine. I want to try Lancer's 2 step regimen or try some Colbert MD products. Has anyone tried these? I have little bit of acne prone skin and use veltin and aczone gel for it. Please let me know!
I am looking to upgrade my Chi straightener that I have had for 4 years. I have my options down to the drybar straightener or the T3 Luxe straightener. I have very thick corse hair. Can someone please tell me what one they recommend?
