Hi, My sephora doesn't yet have the YSL ink foundation so that i can get colour matched. And I heard that its a really great formula but don't want to buy the wrong shade I'm #3 in Guerlain's LdP and 300 in Dior's Airflash foundation. Can someone please recommend me a shade for the new YSL foundation? Thanks!
I use Benefit Brow Zings in 'Light', can anybody please advise me what colour would be the nearest match in Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade please? I live in Ireland so will have to purchase online without being able to swatch. If anybody has the Brow Zings in Light I would greatly appreciate it if the could swatch it against their ABH Dipbrow. Thanks in advance!
I wanted to try the Sephora Perfection Mist, however i am unsure which color to buy? (nearest sephora is a long way from me, so i was planning on ordering online) I have included a photo of me in the most natural lighting possible. I have oily and acne prone skin, is this foundation good for me? Any other recommendations ?
Hello! Recently, my foundation has not been looking its best. I have acne-prone, combination oily skin and I use the clinique acne solutions makeup with the hourglass mineral veil primer. But my foundation has been getting cakey and clinging to dry patches. I haven't changed my skincare much because I use topical gel for my acne at night and my clinique three step system in the morning. Should I get a new foundation? Please help!
Hi! I want to try the Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen foundation but I'm not sure what shade will match me as the descriptions online dont include what skin tones/undertones they are best for. My perfect match is the Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush foundation in Light Beige. Is there a Benefit foundation color similar to this?
Hi everyone! I actually have two questions. I'm looking into purchasing a foundation. I have some acne scars I want to cover, in addition to covering (and possibly treating) new breakouts. How do I go about picking the right color foundation for me? I know sephora has their Pantone thing but it seems a bit dark in the store, so I don't know if I'd get accurate results. Secondly, should I be purchasing a concealer to apply before foundation, or would foundation typically be enough?
OK, so I bit the bullet (no pun intended) and made an appointment at my dentist to get my teeth professionally whitened. Anyone have any words of wisdom on preparation, longevity, whitening I can expect, etc? I've questioned my dentist bunches of times (this is not something I just jumped into), but I'd really like some feedback from people who've had it done. I'm looking forward to this, but I'm a little anxious, too!
I have Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup in shade Sand 1W2. I was wondering what was the next shade up with the same undertones? It was so perfect but I've gotten a bit darker and looks a tad pale.
I use Kat Von D' Lock-It Tattoo foundation in Medium 54 which is a good match for me. 54 is described as being for medium complexions w/ yellow-beige undertones. Prior to finding my match, I bought Medium 53 (doesnt give any info other then being medium) and it was very very yellow on me. So two questions: (1) Does this information tell you that I'm warm or cool? (2) What shade would one mix with a foundation that is too yellow? I hate to throw it away as it's pricey. Thank you for your time. Any advise given will be greatly appreciated.
My skin looks fairly bad with foundation up close. I have dry, dehydrated skin that's slightly red. Foundation makes it look really dry and flaky. I can't wear blush because it just blends in with my red skin. Is there anything that I can do or buy that will make it looks flawless in a week. Doesn't have to be natural, I just want my skin to look good with foundation on. I'm fine with getting products for the long term but I'd like some stuff that will make my makeup sit right on my skin and look flawless before I go back to school.
Hi ! I am wondering if the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade is actually waterproof. Meaning, it'll stay on when I'm swimming in chlorine water. I have heard that the product is very versatile. So my fingers are crossed and I hope it'll last in water. I just don't want to last half a day without brows and some eyeliner in school. Thank you
Hi all, I am looking for an eye-area moisturizer and was hoping I could get some great recommendations here. I don't suffer from puffy eyes or dark circles. My under-eye area is dry but my lids are oily, and I prefer something as natural as possible or atleast free of parabens, etc. I used Boscia eye cream awhile back, but I ended up getting some of those little white bumps so discontinued use. I am not sure if I need an anti-aging cream or not? I am 33, and I have one thin wrinkle on my left eye that gets more noticeable as the day goes on, and some other lines when I smile. I don't have a preference for day or evening, but if day I would prefer something with SPF. I should be wearing stuff with spf more than I do... Thanks!
Hello. My face is always so dry and any type of face moisturizer makes my face burn. I also get these scaly sensation on my t Zone specially the area around the eyes. What kind of moisturizer do you recommend that it works for really damaged skin but also is sensitive?
Hello - I have naturally wavy and fine Brunette hair, I haven't colored it in over a year. I really want to bring it back to life naturally, but sensitive scalp. I feel like it frizzes too much leaving it natural, so I either put hair spray/mousse products in it, or straighten it. Does anyone have an amazing product they use that can help me leave my hair natural and stylish where its not frizzing?
I have an oily T-zone and very large pores on my nose, I like my makeup to look light and natural and I am loving all of the Korean makeup brands because they fit well with my Asian skin tone. I use a lightweight jelly BB cream and a heavier "pore control" BB cream underneath in areas where I need more coverage. This foundation combination is fine, but it lately it's been settling into the pores on my nose and around my T-zone area, making them look large and my makeup kind of cakey just in that area. I've been trying Urban Decay's all nighter makeup setting spray and I love it, but it's just not enough to control my oil either. I'm wondering if I need to try a different setting powder, primer, or both or something else entirely! I'm down to try anything honestly.
I use Fairly Medium (for light-to-medium skin with pink undertones) original mineral foundation. Which Pure Brightening Serum Foundation would match the closest? My guesses are between Bare Linen 03 and Bare Ivory 04.
I'm looking for a nice matte finish / medium coverage foundation for my combo/ dry skin. I often get oily with wear in my T-zone and have dry cheeks. I have yellow under tones and do not like any pink in my foundation. Which foundations do you recommend? I would also like to try a foundation that leave a natural finish for everyday wear.
I'm just starting out with foundation and I have just a few questions. In general with any foundation, what causes you to break out from it? Is there a way to stop the skin from breaking out to a foundation?
I have a reddish/dark spot on my face that is a scar, but has the same looks and feel as a birthmark. I'm looking for a concealer that will complete cover it, and a foundation that will blend well with it, but also something that's not too heavy. Minus the dark spot - I absolutely love my skin and would prefer no makeup! Currently I use Dermablend, but it sucks and is way to heavy and cakes on. I have been looking at Clinique Continuous Coverage, and also have been interested in trying the Bare Minerals bareskin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation. Any Suggestions????
