I'm in such need of being able to curl my eyelashes. They are straight as a board! With deep set small eyes, the 'normal' size curlers are just too large to fit in my eye socket. Besides being too large, I'm unable to get the eyelash curler to line up with the base of my eyelashes, because of my brow bone. I've spent hours and hours searching online for something that seems like it might possibly fit, and I've been drawn to the Shiseido Eyelash Curler (Item #1201474). After reading endless reviews it's easy to see how well this works for ladies with Asian eyes. My question is: From your experience of working with this product, do you feel it can also work with Caucasian eyes as well.....specifically such as my deep set small eyes? I would seriously love to hear any "experts" take on this or any Caucasian ladies who have tried this product. Thank you so, so much! Pia

Hello,  I made a reservation to have my makeup done for prom and I'm super excited. I know I have to spend 50 dollars first. I was wondering, if I want to wear false lashes, do I have to buy them and have he/she put them on? Also, is it likely my artist will be able to do a full face job in 45 minutes? Thank you!

What concealer can someone recommend to cover under eye bags but so that I can wear it alone when I am in a hurry? I don't like anything too cakey or heavy.

What is the best full coverage, long lasting foundation for super oily skin that doesn't settle in wrinkles?
Ask The Experts
I've been using Bare Minerals original foundation for at least 10 years. Lately I don't feel like I get the coverage that I used to. I would like to try something different but I don't live anywhere near a store to get help picking a new one out. I do have issues with acne so I don't want anything super heavy or oily. I've been reading the reviews on the Urban Decay Weightless ultra definition liquid makeup. Any thoughts on that one? or any other recommendations? I wear medium beige in bare minerals. Thanks in advance!

Hello- I'm almost 30 and still getting zits regularly typically on my chin or on my forehead above the brow. I've been told chin zits are "hormonal" does this mean that at 30 I still have the raging hormones I had at 15?!    Out of curiosity- why are they considered hormonal if they are on my chin? Are there other spots considered hormonal also?   out of necessity- what are the best products to get rid of this type of acne or can it not be helped since it is due to hormones?

Hi! I am 19 years old (lol my mom and I share an account) and I have extremely oily skin with enlarged pores, acne, and lots of texture. I recently got a sample of the Murad Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15 PA++. It has done a fairly good job of keeping my oiliness at bay and I like that it has SPF in it, but I'm curious about the Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion for Blemish Prone/Oily Skin because it says it works better for smoothing out texture (I have lots of acne, enlarged pores, and bumpiness in the center of my face). I will be visiting my local Sephora to test out the consistency of the skin perfector but I was wondering what others think of these two products.

Hello ladies. I'm wondering if you can help me plan my routine better and in the correct order. Should I have different products for night than what I use during the day?   my skin type: a little dull I like brightening products. Dark eye circles. I get hormonal acne around my period even at 30 A little oilier in the t zone with some clogged pores on my nose but also can get dried out easily by some products (makes me combination right?)   current am regimen   wash face/ cleansing water serum eye cream moisturize    *do I need to exfoliate or use toner? Anything I am missing?   *PM is pretty much the same except sometimes I use dr Brandt Glow overnight serum or ole henrickson invigorating night treatment instead of ole henrickson truth serum. Should I have different products for face wash eyes and moisturizer?

Ok ladies and gents--- I'm totally OVER the zits that keep popping up on my chin.  When one goes away I get another one right next to it.  I went into Sephora and the Beauty Expert told me her fave is the Murad Acne Spot Fast Fix so without thinking I scooped it up because 1. I have a blind faith in the sephora experts and 2.  while I haven't used Murad products, I've always wanted to and know that they have a great reputation.  So.... before I open it up, should I keep it and try it out (its only $16!) or do you all have another product that you think I MUST have...??

I have incredibly pale skin. This is accompanied by dark circles under my eyes.  And I generally have moderate-high oily skin and red coloring to my nose and cheeks. I have a hard time finding concealer that gives me the full coverage to camouflage these imperfections without it becoming cakey. I'm usually wary of purchasing makeup I'm unfamiliar with so I tend to stick to what I know, but I am looking to change this. Any advise on a concealer and foundation that would help to combat this issue? I currently use MaryKay Concealer in Ivory 2 (small black squeezable tube) and Covergirl Tru Blend in L1.   Any advise is greatly appreciated, thank you!

I am 30 years old and I  have normal to dry skin. I never had acne throughout my teen years but since hitting my mid 20's, my skin has been a mess. I have multiple cystic acne bumps on my cheeks, hairline, and chin at all times and I cannot seem to be able to find a routine that consistently helps with this. I used Create (a benzoperoxide and tea tree oil mix) for a period of time and this reduced my acne but seems to have stopped working. I feel like I have tried everything... Glycolic Acid Serum and Moisturizer, Good Genes, Drunk Elephant Framboise Serum, etc, etc. I am getting married in a year and would like to have nice, clear skin for my big day. Please help me find a good gentle routine that would help!!! I'm desperate...

Hey guys, which products should I try next for pore minimizing? I'm looking more for masks/treatments than face wash. I'm a 21 year old college student and I wear glasses 24/7. I have combination skin but my pores in my t-zone and cheeks are huge from my glasses. I've tried pore strips, GlamGlow SuperMud, Salicylic Acid wipes, Kate Somerville products, etc. yet all they do is dry out my skin, nothing has noticeably reduced my pores. My skin is very fair and sensitive, can you recommend some products? Thanks so much! Edit:  I use Philosophy Purity face wash morning and night, and Origins Original Skin Serum at least twice a day, or more if my skin is dry. Also use Kate Somerville Gentle ExfoliKate once a week to smooth out my skin.

hello. so i recently bought the complexion rescue from bare minerals. i love that it has SPF, minerals and a light coverage. Theres simply one downfall, it makes my face skinny and almost kinda oily. is there a good alternative with all the same benefits i should try? thanks!
Ask The Experts
Do you set your concealer before or after applying your powder foundation? I recently bought Laura Mercier's Translucent Setting Powder, but I'm not sure if I should use it before of after applying my bare minerals bare pro pressed powder foundation.
