Hey ladies, recently I was hiking and ran into a small limb that scratched my face pretty badly. It healed up but I am now left with a small red line scar. I have been using sunscreen daily but its not helping much. Are there any products you recommend to make this scar go away faster? Thank you!
It's just so hard for me to find a good concealer to cover dark circle under my eyes. I tried Bobbi Brown corrector and concealer, but it didn't work out well, it made my under eye cakey, and it didn't stay until the end of the day; after few hours, I look like a panda already. But, warm beige is perfect shade for me. Nars don't have any color that fit my skin, so it just look so unnatural.
I'm looking for nickle free mascara and eye-shadow that is also for sensitive eyes. I have tried so many products and after a couple hours my eyes are irritated. And also eye moisturizer. Most give me bags under my eyes. It's like in trying to re-hydrate, they cause fluid collection under my eyes, if that makes sense.
Hello lovely Beauty Gurus, Last year I bought Sephora's Artful Traveler brush roller/holder to use when I started accumulating brushes. Now a year later, I've run out of space in that! So now I'm looking for yet another brush case for storage. I have brushes of all sizes. Most are Sephora brushes but I do have some Sonia Kashuk, elf, and Estee Lauder brushes. I'm not interested in using jars or putting them out in the open on top of the bathroom counter - there's just something about them all being out in the open in the bathroom all day and night that seems unsanitary to me. So what are your suggestions for cases that will be large enough to fit what I do have now (maybe 25 brushes) and that can grow with me a little. I just saw the new Sephora Pro Portfolio and Easel...anyone have thoughts on those? They're pretty affordable and look like they could be the answer I'm looking for. Thanks so much in advance for all your help - you guys rock!
I have extremely oily skin and pretty bad acne all over my face. I am looking for a full coverage foundation that will also keep my face matte and shine-free all day long. I have found problems with my foundations looking splotchy in spots and not flawless. So I would like something to make my skin look flawless. If you could help me find my perfect foundation that would be great! Thanks! Riley
I am in my late 30s, have fair sensitive skin and as I am aging my skin tone is becoming increasingly uneven with "sun spots" and freckles. I currently use Aveda moisturizer for Sensitive Skin and for makeup application I am using Too Faced Oil Free Primer or Hangover Rx Primer and Kat Von D Lock It Foundation in light 44 then topping off with Urban Decay Loose Powder. I get somewhat good coverage but would like a more smooth finish and would like to know if there is a serum that would help minimize the spots and even out skin tone? Would a BB product work? Also have to watch what I use as I am allergic to glycerin and have dry/combination skin.
Can any one recommend a product that will really dissolve blackheads? I have heard of this type of product but can not find one that actually states on the package that it does dissolve blackheads! I have tried one recommended cleanser, Boscia Black Cleanser, but it did not get rid of the blackheads...it was very drying as well! I do understand that with any kind of blemish product that there will be some amount of drying. I have tried a few other cleansers and exfoliating products with only a little bit of luck in getting rid of my blackheads...but I really want to get rid of them all! I have had them most of my life, they are not bad, just enough to be annoying to me! If any one can recommend a really good product it would really be appreciated! I even have a Clairsonic but some just won't go away! Thanks every one!
I have fine hair with wavy/curls. My hair likes to do whatever it wants. Most of the times likes to stick to my face which I hate. I am not sure if I have frizz or moisture or what problems. I have never had controlled or nice looking hair. Can anyone help me?
So I've been using Bare Minerals foundation for the past 3 years, and I love how radiant it makes my skin look and how the color blends well with it... However, I've found with the seasons changing and working a job where I'm highly active and sweat A LOT, I'm constantly reapplying the foundation daily and it just makes my skin look terrible by the end of the day. I'm interested in finding a new foundation that is sweat resistant and won't settle into my large pores. I have very uneven skin but I don't want something that's too full of coverage that it looks fake. If anyone could give me some advice on a product worth looking into I'd much appreciate it!
Hello beauties, I'm now in my late 30s, and I recently read the importance of exfoliating our face (for various reasons). In the past, whenever I would exfoliate, my face would end up breaking out. I have oily skin, and unfortunately, it's also acne-prone. One of my friends uses Kate Somerville exfoliator (the one formulated for acne-prone skin), and she recommended this for me as well. Does anyone reading this message happen to use this product? If so, would you recommend it? If not, I would appreciate recommendations. After reading reviews, I tend to become overwhelmed with so many choices. Thank you in advance! With all best wishes, Daskala
Hi. I am looking for a bare minerals foundation that is similar in shade to Maybelline's SuperStay Natural Tan foundation. I would go to a Sephora store to try out samples, but I do not dare allow myself to enter that store. lol. Do you have any suggestions?
hi, i have fair asian skin that's combination to oily and I figured i need a good contour palette that's a powder and I'm in the midst of looking at all of them and was wondering if the hourglass ambient lighting palette is a better choice or the marc jacob's #instamarc is? if it's the marc jacobs, what is the better shade for my skin? also i tend to break out easily so i dont want anything that would contribute to acne. if there's another contour palette i should look into, im open for any advice thanks
Hi all, recently I've discovered that silicone and talc both wreak havoc on my face and I end up with terrible breakouts. I've been using a great silicone free primer from clarins but now I'm on the hunt for a foundation to fit my needs. Does anyone have a recommendation for something that is both silicone and talc free? I've tried the Laura Mercier Moisture Supreme but it made me really oily by the end of the day. I also tried Bare Minerals but they don't have a good color match for my skin tone. My skin is sensitive, acne prone, and combination leaning more towards the oily side. Thanks!
Hi all, I have a pretty intense skin regimen which I love, but I am looking for a new under eye night cream. This is what I put on my face in the AM: Origins Oil-Free face wash Korres Pomegranate toner Fresh Youth Preserve face cream Fresh Youth Preserve eye cream The Balm tinted moisturizer with spf PM: Origins Antioxidant face wash Clarins Multi-Active Night Youth Recovery face cream I used a sample of the Algenist eye balm, but I didn't love it. Now I am using a sample of the Clarins Total Restorative concentrate, but I think it is for more mature skin and don't want to damage to the skin I have. I have darkness under my eyes, so I use a Caudelie Glycolic peel once or twice a week. I also try to use my Origins charcoal mask once or twice a week as well, The Balm TimeBalm Blueberry Mask, or the Nude Foaming exfoliator. I drink about a gallon (or more) of water each day and keep my alcohol limited. Thanks for your help, beauties! A
Hi! Can't find an answer to this in the product's Q&A so I thought I should ask here: When the Dior SkinFlash Radiance Booster Pen is empty, does it stop clicking or does it simply not dispense anymore product? I read at least one review saying their pen wouldn't dispense product unless they kept the applicator clean by washing it regularly. I wish I could see how much product was still in the pen. Thanks for any help!
I need advice on how to get "raccoon eyes". I use primer, powder, a pencil liner covered with powdered eyeshadow the same color. I use a regular mascara and put a coat of waterproof mascara over that. Don't know what else to do. Help!
i think the sun safety kits were out the first week of May in 2014, so hoping that means that we have less than a month til they are out in 2015. Any word on a release date yet? I love the sun safety kits!!
