http://www.sephora.com/wild-chic-palette-P384749?s kuId=1596089 This just came up on the sale area today, and without hesitation I purchased it cause it seemed like a steal. Has anyone used this palette? Are their any matte shades? Im so excited to get it
Hello, Earlier in the week, a Beauty Insider, Mia, helped me combined my two accounts (email/online and physical BI card), however when that happened I had to build my account from the start again and I lost contact with her due to getting a new account. Now with the two accounts combined, she told me I was 23 points away from reaching VIB status, and to let her know whenever I spent my remaining points before 12/31 so she could upgrade my status. I've recently purchased a few items at Sephora, surpassing 23 points; I would really appreciate it if you can upgrade my status to VIB. Thank you!
My current routine: -bare minerals powder (the pressed compact) in medium -Neutrogena concealer on blemishes and red spots -Ooh la lift dotted undereyes -bare binerals bronzer in warmth for a blush (contouring) My skin type: combination (I get dry spots in winter, but still also have the occasion breakout and redness) My skin tone: I'd say it's a medium beige. I get very tan in the summer. I am not sure if I have yellow or pink undertones? What I'd like to have: that smooth, airbrush finish, but with the ease of something I can do every morning (fairly quickly) Right now I feel splotchy, and like I don't have enough coverage to hide imperfections. I want an overall brightness back! I recently purchased the Hourglass Ambient powder in Luminous, and am thinking of also purchasing the Radiant color. I prefer a more bronze look to a "blush" as opposed to anything super pink. I want to bring out my cheek bones. I have used Dior's airflash foundation, and love it, but is that too heavy to use everyday? Sometimes I break out after using it. I also have some loose finishing powder by Chanel, but don't really know what to do with it! I need advice on possibly using a foundation, and on which brushes are best for each of the aforementioned products. I currently use the all-over bare minerals brush and the bare minerals long flat kabuki for bronzer. I am looking for a highlighting brush(es), foundation brush and product recommendations, bronzer/blush product and brush recommendations, and general advice for the order to apply all of these products! Thank you.
I have extremely oily skin in my T-Zone as well. I literally have tried The Becca Ever Matte Primer, MUFE Mat Velvet +, Nars the Matte foundation, I've tried almost all of the oil-free and oily skin drugstore foundations. I need some serious advice... Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I have to powder within 1-2 hours of applying my makeup. Also, I have acne prone skin, and I feel like giving up. Please, help a girl out!
Since I am a devoted user of Philosophy's line of Miracle Worker products, I was excited to see they are bringing out a foundation. I see that it is available at Ulta but would prefer to buy it at Sephora. Any idea if/when it may be available?
I want to buy the NARS sheer glow foundation but i don't know what shade to pick, I have a medium tan skin but now I'm very tan. usually in MAC foundation I'm NC40-NC42, but when I'm tan i go a shade or two darker NC44-45, because i became very tan with caramel undertone. What do you think is my shade on the NARS sheer glow?
best foundation Please for large pores and aging wrinkly skin that will not cake in pores and fine lines - Over 50 ?? Aging skin with fine lines, some deep lines and large pores on chin & nose. Every foundation I've tried including HD Makeup forever and Dr.Perricone, from cream to liquid piles up in pores and lines. I have a fantastic skin care regimen with Dr. Perricone, but Perricone foundation and coverup are not good. Running out of options.
I am 39 and noticing small, fine lines under my eyes. (Thankfully, the crows feet have not popped up yet, but I'm sure they're on the way!) I use MUFE powder foundation, which I absolutely LOVE, but I can't use it under my eyes because it settles into all the fine lines and REALLY ages me. (Not a good look!) I confess that I'm pretty dumb when it comes to makeup, even though I love everything about it. I need some help, please! What can I use to cover up the dark circles and even out my skin tone under my eyes, that won't cake or settle into my wrinkles? I've tried concealer, (I have Laura Mercier), and while it covers up the dark circles, it also settles into the fine lines, much like the powder does. I was thinking of trying a BB cream?? What do you guys think??
I have oily skin, more oil in T zone, but also oily in top cheek area (the part of the cheeks that's closest to nose/eye.) BUT, the part of the cheeks that's further down (below cheekbone until past jawline) is very dry! I have a hard time finding a good moisturizer for this type of skin. I need oil control in the middle but moisture in the bottom. I use acne medication in the jawline area and chin area that makes it even more dry. I wonder if the IBUKI moisturizer would be hydrating enough for this or do you have another suggestion? thank you!!!!!
I currently wear Givenchy Photo'Perfexion Fluid Foundation SPF 20 PA+++ in 4 Perfect Vanilla, but would like purchase Givenchy Teint Couture Long-Wearing Fluid Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20. What shade is the correct color to choose?
I am trying to decide between NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and Lancôme Effacenes under eye concealer. I hear good things about both. I have pretty dark circles under my eyes and am light to medium olive skin tones. Any suggestions? I've asked about concealers in the past but, have narrowed it down to these two! I have used the Lancôme before in beige. It wasn't great, I am thinking of buying it in Claire II this time hoping it works better! I am not familiar with the NARS at all and could use some input on product and color. Thank you so much!!
Has anyone used it and is it worth $200? My teeth are slightly yellow and I am not sure if it is from wine, coffee and cokes...or just the color of my teeth.... Also, can you share this??? Could my husband use this too? Maybe I could get it for him for Christmas (but really a Christmas present for me...sneaky sneaky...)!
I want to purchase the Tarte Amazonian Clay BB tinted moisturizer but am not sure of the shade. According to the color match, I am 4Y08 but am unable to determine which shade would be best with this color match.
Hi, I've been trying out new foundations lately and I've been wearing Lancôme Teint Idole 24 Hr in Bisque 430 C but I'm looking for the Dual Finish powder to go with it for a full coverage effect. What do the experts suggest? Bisque 420 C looks like it maybe too light but I haven't seen it in person yet.
My skin has always been oily plus acne. Few years ago it became combination. Now my skin is turning from combination to dry. Plus I still have acne here and there, so I need foundation to hydrate my skin, but also with full coverage because of the acne. HELP!
Hi ladies, I am look for a foundation for my mom her birthday is coming up. She has dry skin and concern about the spot on her cheeks. So any foundation that you would recommned for mature dry skin with medium coverage? TIA
I'm currently using YSL anti-cernes in 2, I was wondering what might be the best shade equivalent in Make Up Forever full coverage concealer? And if it would even be beneficial to switch over. I like the YSL but there's so little product for the money! Thanks!
I have fair skin with slight yellow undertone. I want purchase Shiseido sheer and perfect foundation, and I am wearing Chantecaille TM in Alabaster, Lancome teint miracle in Ivorie 140, and BareMinerals powder foundation in N10 fairly light. Which shade of the Shiseido one suits me best? O20 or I20, or I00? Thank you.
Hi, my Color IQ match is 5Y02 and I wear shade Crème 011 in Diorskin Nude foundation. I'm in the market for a new concealer and I can't decide between three: Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer (Item #1478353) Diorskin Nude Skin Perfecting Concealer (Item #1204643) Shiseido Natural Finish Cream Concealer (Item #1276336) Please advise me on which one and which color would be the best for young, sensitive skin. I would like to conceal occasional blemishes and dark circles under my eyes. Thank you!!!!
I'm trying to compare the Jewel Collection 1" Gold Professional Styler vs the Candy Collection 1" Professional Styler. Besides the obvious color and accessories, is the "gold" series better than then the rest of the line? When researching GHD's website, they refer the jewel collection as a 1" professional styler. So is Jewel collection styler any better than the regular professional styler? Or am I just paying $35.00 more for color and accessories? Thanks in advance!
To start off- I just want to put out a disclaimer that I am a brush addict. About once a year or so, I decide to treat myself to some new brushes. I have way more brushes than I need/ use, but I'm always looking to add more to my collection. So- with that said, I currently have a huge collection of MAC brushes, as well as the Charlotte Ronson brush set from Sephora that I picked up on sale. The MAC brushes are amazing and have been with my for 4+ years. The Charlotte Ronson brushes (pictured below), my most recent purchase, are pretty great. I tend to use these for blending out colors, though, so I can't really attest to their application. Anyways, to get back on topic- I'm looking at supplementing my collection with more brushes. I don't quite have a "complete" brush set, as MAC sells everything individually and their prices have prevented me from completing one. So that is what I'm looking to go for now... a 100% complete brush set that I can use for both everyday application and for blending. My search has led me to both the Sigma Essentials Brush Set and the Bubbi Complete Set. Have any of you had experience with either of these sets or brushes? I've noticed that most of my favorite vloggers use either Sigma or Bubbi, but I'm hoping some of you have used them too. Charlotte Ronson brushes: http://www.sephora.com/P309929?skuId=1371665
