Hello ladies. I'm wondering if you can help me plan my routine better and in the correct order. Should I have different products for night than what I use during the day?   my skin type: a little dull I like brightening products. Dark eye circles. I get hormonal acne around my period even at 30 A little oilier in the t zone with some clogged pores on my nose but also can get dried out easily by some products (makes me combination right?)   current am regimen   wash face/ cleansing water serum eye cream moisturize    *do I need to exfoliate or use toner? Anything I am missing?   *PM is pretty much the same except sometimes I use dr Brandt Glow overnight serum or ole henrickson invigorating night treatment instead of ole henrickson truth serum. Should I have different products for face wash eyes and moisturizer?

I had never used a cream blush before I used my mom's  Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Rose and absolutely fell in love. Paired it with Bobbi Brown lipstick in Brown...again I'm OBSESSED! AND she gave me both SCORE! Loved the cream look so much that I already bought my second shade in powder pink.   Im not 'm thrilled about applying with my fingers I felt like it wasn't blending for a natural look and when I try to blend it more it looks like a messy mistake. But everyone always says to do it with your fingers and no brush. Am I doing it wrong? I feel like I'd just be more precise with a brush. Any suggestions on which? Bobbi website suggests their full coverage face brush but it's a bit pricey of course.      Also I saw in a video (which I can now not find) that there was a technique for applying blush for people with round baby faces I think it was more of a straight angle. I've never contoured  before but I have a baby face! Is there a tip with cream blush for us puffy cheek girls?

Hi all,   I have extremely dark and oily eyelids as well as seriously dark circles.  I have tried every eye primer under the sun, and none really work. I recently read about putting concealer on my eyelids, setting with powder, and applying eyeshadow over that.  If I conceal my eyelids - would I still use a primer over that?  A little confused about this step.    Thank you!

I am 27 and have always had oily and acne prone skin. I am allergic to benzoyl peroxide and looking for a good acne cream or spot treatment. Any recommendations?

Hi, I've been reading up on the boards and google, but haven't quite found the answer to my question based on my skin type. I'm looking for a primer that will extend the lasting power of my make up. I use LM Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer on an everyday basis and I'm specifically looking for something that's long lasting . I also finish with UD all-nighter.    I've used Smashbox Photo Finish (liked but haven't tried in a couple of years, didn't notice a huge difference in lasting power), and Hourglass Mineral Veil (it didn't really do much for me, the consistency was a little off as it seems it sometimes can be). I would give either of these another try if that's what's recommended.   I have very good skin (it's normal, with some dry patches sometimes) to the point that when I had my makeup done, the girl kept trying to wipe off my make up, and was shocked when she realized I wasn't wearing any on my face. I'm only saying this because I know one of the draws to some primers is how they smooth out the skin (ex. hourglass), and I'm not really interested in that, I'm simply looking for the best long lasting primer.    Thanks for any and all help

I've been looking for a highlighter, any form, for a medium skin tone that doesn't feel dry. A couple other ones that I've bought feel very rough when applying them.

Would like a foundation that doesn't show off my age!  I love earth tones.  More of a natural tone.  When I go to Clinique they usually pick me out a medium/neutral tone

Hi there! I'm looking for an individual contouring powder that is comparable to the darkest shade on the Smashbox step-by-step Contour Kit Light/Medium.  I only use the darkest shade in that kit, so it is a waste for me to keep buying it. Can you recommend something?  Thank you!

Hello all!   I live in a cold climate and lately realized I should probably be moisturizing my dry/combination skin soon after showering. I have rosacea and sensitive skin, but I have noticed that when I try and put on moisturizer after the shower it burns! It doesn't burn when I am applying it at other times (I shower at night) and I am just confused as to what is happening! So the next time I tried to prep my skin first and used the Origins Perfect World Treatment Lotion before putting on moisturizer, but that burned as well.   Should I be using another product? Am I doing something wrong? I would love to have something to achieve a calming/cooling sensation after the shower. I have sensitive skin but I didn't think it was THIS sensitive.

Hello- I'm almost 30 and still getting zits regularly typically on my chin or on my forehead above the brow. I've been told chin zits are "hormonal" does this mean that at 30 I still have the raging hormones I had at 15?!    Out of curiosity- why are they considered hormonal if they are on my chin? Are there other spots considered hormonal also?   out of necessity- what are the best products to get rid of this type of acne or can it not be helped since it is due to hormones?

Forgive me if I'm a Klutz - I just brought Benefit Soft and Natural Brow kit and I'm loving every products in that kit.   However.......about the stencils.  Both stencils (arch/straight, look 1 and 2) - I look closely and both look very similar - except when you feel it, you can tell the difference..... So, when I use one stencil, for example, straight, look 1, on my eyebrow, the question is....... should I flip around and use on my other eyebrow?  Or take it out, turn it around, re-insert the stencil tool for my other eyebrow? Please forgive me for the useless question!
