Hi everyone.  Whenever I set my under-eye concealer with a setting powder, I swear it changes the colour of my makeup. I can finally be ready in the morning and think that my makeup looks really nice - and then as soon as I set it, my dark under-eyes come peering back through my makeup, and sometimes even the colour of my concealer seems to have changed. I have been experiencing this problem for ages with several different translucent setting powders - Tarte, Makeup forever HD setting powder, Cinema secretes, Laura Mercier (that one made my eyes itch...) - just to name a few. At first I thought I was crazy, but I have heard other people mention experiencing the same sort of thing. I've never tried using a coloured powder, because I'm really not sure what to use... I have red hair & very fair, dry skin - I don't know if that info helps?    Hopefully someone will be able to help me out here!   Thanks

I know for normal face masks you're supposed to cleanse first then use toner, serum, moisturizer, etc. afterwards, but what about for an overnight mask? Do you just cleanse then wear the mask overnight? I feel like this is a stupid question but I never really use face masks and was wanting to try some, including overnight ones.

Just noticed that all of the spring stuff is showing up (early as always) but the thread is still specific to Winter (which it is...but tell the brands).  So what have you found, dear BTers, that is new on Sephora...

Ok. So I've read at least three articles that say Cetaphil is bad for you skin. But, is it true? And if it is, any recommendations for someone who has combination and sensitive skin?

Hello,   I've been using the Peter Thomas Roth Gentle Complexion Corrections Pads for quite some time now. I noticed a month or two ago that they were out of stock, and now the website states that they cannot be shipped to the US.    I was wondering why is this item no longer available for purchase here? and will it be again? I also noticed that Sephora stores no longer carry this product.   I have had great results using the pads, and I would preferably like to continue using them as well as purchasing them through Sephora.    Otherwise, what other products would you recommend that are similar?   Greatly appreciate your response.   Thanks

I have probably the worst dark circles on the planet! It's not hereditary (my mom and sister both have no dark circles) and it won't cover with any concealer. I have moisturized, color corrected, concealed with full coverage concealer, put liquid AND powder foundation over them! All that produces is a orange, cakey, disgusting look that lasts for maybe an hour or two before fading and letting my super dark (purple, brown, blue, and a little red) circles bleed through. It is insanity! So for Christmas this year, on my list, I have benefit boi-ing concealer, but I read another review that said the concealer didn't work for a girl/woman who's skin and issue sounded similar to mine. I'm not going to give up, so that's out of the question. To give an idea of what I'm looking for, I'm looking for a full coverage concealer that will cover my satanic dark circles, give some light to them, that won't fade during the day, and won't wipe off under or over foundation. I also have very pale skin (such so that I've been called a vampire because it sparkles in the sun) with cool undertones. I'm wondering if such a product exists, where I could get it, for how much, and if you have any tips for my dark circles (all would be appreciated) Thank you so much!!!!

Hey guys! I just recently washed a Morphe M527 goat hair brush (for the first time) and since I've washed it it literally smells like a goat---a barn. Help please! I don't know how to get the stench out!

I have the Ciate Geltox kit and I'm running low on the cleanser, and I can't seem to find another one that works. I've tried the Formula X cleanser but this stripped the colour off my nails because of the alcohol. I need a cleanser with absolutely no alcohol in it, any suggestions?

Hey everyone. I have been struggling with THOUSANDS of sebaceous filaments on my nose for as long as I can remember. I have tried almost everything I can think of to clear them out and reduce the size of them. The only thing that has worked is by manually forcing them out with my fingers which really irritates my skin. And even when I do that, they're full again in the next day or two. I use a clarisonic with the deep pore head and cleanser but that hasn't worked. Plus I have VERY VERY dry skin which is constantly peeling so the deep pore cleanser definitely does not help the flakiness. Can someone please recommend something that I should try? Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Thank yall in advance for your help!

I'm looking for a sunscreen that does not have any makeup in it. I'm going to be do laser hair treatments on my face so I can't have anything on my face but the sunscreen.  I'm really pale and have super sensitive skin.  I don't really go outside to much because how sensitive my skin is. I start to turn red within 10 minute's of being out side even with sunblock on. Any help would be appreciated.

I liked Clinique's Age Defense BB cream a lot, but Shade 1 was too light for me. Shade 2 doesn't work either. I have light skin with neutral/pink undertones. How does the Light shade in the Acne Solutions line and the Moisture Surge line compare? The Light in the Acne Solutions BB cream looks a little darker than Shade 1 and was wondering if that is the case when actually applied.   Thanks!

anyone knows how does Too Faced | Born This Way Foundation  works on combination/dehydrated skin? I really like how it covers blemishes without looking heavyI have oily skin and but dry patches on my cheekbones, in between my brows and chin. Also, i live in a country with tropical rainforest climate. How does this foundation performs in heat and high humidity?   Please feel free to suggest any products (primer, foundation, setting sprays) that would be suitable for me as well!

The models in the Clinique Pep Start ads are all very, very young.  Of course their skin care needs are quite different from those of someone like me (normal to dry, deep creases and large pores, 60 years old).  Does this mean Pep Start products are targeted for teenagers?

Okay so I'm very new to make-up. I usually just wear walmart foundation and things like that. I wanted to start to get into it and do my make-up like those girls do on those videos on Facebook and Twitter. I was just wondering if someone could give me a list of everything i would need to buy including brushes and products. Thank you!

I have been hearing good things about the SK II online and from friends. However, I still have more than half left of my Sunday Riley bottles. Would it be okay to add in the SK II to my regimen? Or would it be too much for my skin and just wait till I finish SR?

I reside in Ontario, Canada and we're experiencing humidity which means not wearing any foundation as not only will my skin feel congested but it'll end up dripping off my face so I'm wondering if it's ok to mix a matte liquid bronzer (i.e. Benefit Dew the Hoola) with my moisturizer.  Are there any Canadians out there who also can't wear foundation due to the humidity?

I want to try Gimme Brow (new formula), having seen lots of great reviews, but I'm not sure if I need medium or deep. I have (rapidly graying) brown hair, with darker eyebrows, so I'm thinking deep from the way the colors look on my screen.    I'm currently using Boy Brow in brown, if that helps. The color is OK, but I'm not that impressed with the product.

Hi, I just read somewhere that if a foundation is too pink for you, it will leave a white cast on your face...is this true? I've always thought that a white cast was caused by SPF or the shade just being too light or whatever is in a lot of Asian BB creams (I've tried a few Asian BB creams and they all had that white cast on me).   I have light skin with neutral-pink undertones and prefer full-coverage liquid foundations or BB creams. Most shades look too yellow on me, even some neutral shades, so I tend to choose cool shades. My closest color match is Neutrogena's Healthy Skin in Natural Ivory, but that's a lousy foundation, and next best is Clinique's Beyond Foundation in Alabaster...but it does leave a white cast.   Should I be avoiding pink-based foundations in the future? Thanks!

I am trying to decide between Becca Liquid Highlighter in Champagne Pop or Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops in Moonlight or Celestial. I am quite pale and have combination skin but craving a radiant glow. I would love anyones opinions and suggestions! thanks!
