Hi everyone! I've been getting really into wearing more colorful liquid eyeliners lately, but I've had one problem: on Sephora.com, the top-rated ones are usually black, brown, or grey! I really would prefer to use a liquid, or a gel if I really have to. So, my question to you is: what is the best liquid eyeliner that comes in colors such as gold, silver, blue, etc.?
Hi All, I have ruddy skin and while I can go ahead and use my own redness for blush... I do not want to do that! I use Fusion Ink -- awesome -- which rids me of most of the my ruddiness. I was wondering what color blush and brand would be a fun try for someone who has brown eyes, normally wears dark eyeshadow and liner. I have pinks.. but seriously for the most part...pretty BORING.
Hey everyone! I'm going to be island hopping in Greece throughout the month of June, and need suggestions for what to take on the plane (will be on there for 24 hours!) and how to pack lightly in terms of makeup, hair and skin care routine. I have brown hair, blue eyes that can look green-sh, and light skin (think Estee Lauder BB SPF 35 in 1.0 intensity, or MUFE HD Foundation in 115. I also have combination/sensitive skin. Most Caudalie products and Korres products work well with my skin, but it can be a struggle. The hair is pretty manageable, but can be on the frizzy side. Am bringing a curling iron, but would be nice to find something that I can leave in my hair and air dry and have it still look like. Need to find a good waterproof mascara for sensitive eyes and waterproof sunscreen for the face for sensitive skin as well. I know this post is long and asking for a lot, but any advice on any of these subject would be so much appreciated, Thank You!!!
Okay so I have fairly normal skin for the most part. The only problem is that I have sensitive skin and I mean HIGHLY sensitive. I'm allergic to all tree nut oils and I will break out in hives if I come in contact with any tree nut oils. I wash my face every night but I realize I feel like it's not doing a great job. I don't have cystic acne, but I feel as if there is always multiple breakouts on my face. The majority is near my forehead and nose area. Every once and a while I will get one near my chin or upper lip. I rarely break out on my cheeks. However I want a skincare system that will for the most part clear up all my acne. Any suggestions?
I have really bad under eye circles, and since forever I also have these tiny bumps that gather around the inner corner of my eye and along my dark circles. I have done research and they say they are milia, except they do not look like large bumps, they are just small tiny ones that dont feel bumpy or anything! All of the concealers that I have tried have gone into these fine tiny bump creases, and I have not found something that looks somewhat decent. I have also been using an under eye cream by fresh hoping that would help, but it has not. Any help would be extremely great! Thanks!
I am in my 50s and I have seriously dry skin - I currently use L'occitane body butter for a moisturizer and jojoba oil too on my face and body - I am looking for a shower gel/body wash with oil or other ingredients that would ease my dry skin so it doesn't dry out as soon as I towel off. Also, any recommendation for moisturizer would help and am willing to try new brands. Any help with this would be much appreciated.
Hi, I'm currently looking for a powder foundation/foundation for my troublesome skin. I have really oily skin but dry patches on my cheeks, so combination skin. I would really like if the ingredients in the foundation to not have any chemicals or anything that will cause acne/clog my pores since I have acne prone skin.
No matter what I use my eye makeup ends up smudging by afternoon! I literally tried using everything.... right now I usually use the Urban Decay primer potion, Naked palette, Bobbi Brown eyeshadows, and Bobbi Brown gel liner. Any ideas anyone?
I'm a woman in my thirties having a hard time with hormonal acne. I typically deal with redness, but lately I've had dark red spots from active acne and acne scarring that I'm struggling to cover up. I've tried concealers from Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, Tarte, Lancome, and countless others. No matter what, the redness bleeds through. I typically layer concealer over Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer and under powder foundation. Can anyone suggest a solution?
What is the correct way to apply a face mask? Is it a matter of preference? I've always applied masks with my fingers. Boscia has a sample set that comes with a brush. The included brush got me wondering. Thanks!
I am in love with NARS Audacious lipsticks. ANd I am looking for the first pink shade. My friend, the beauty guru, said that the wrong pink can really age you. And I, obviously, don't want that. Right now, my favorite shade is Charlotte. But I am anxiously awaiting for my order of Bette to deliver. For pinks, I"m considering Natalie first of all, but also Kelly and maybe even Grace. I'd like to see them side by side or to be able to swatch them so I can see what they look like against my skin. Here's the most recent photo of me. I welcome any suggestions.
Here is what I currently use: Neutrogena Grapefruit face wash Say yes to grapefruit under eye cream (doesn't work) CVS brand moisturizer with an SPF of 20 Makeup: Bare Minerals Ready Foundation Bare Minerals Concealer Bare Minerals Blush (been using the same color for three years) Tarte Mascara Urban Decay Naked eyeshadow (from 1, 2, or basics) Bobbi Brown Lipstick I just feel really stuck. I feel as though I need a beauty overhaul. I'm 21 and in college and I don't like to keep up with beauty trends. I prefer refined, classic and tried and true products with good reviews to back them up. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

So up until recently, about a month and a half ago, I had extremely dry skin, so dry it would crack if I missed a part of my skincare regimen. I finally had it nearly under control and now my skin has done a complete 180. I'm so oily my makeup slides down my face in about an hour! The only thing I really changed was my foundation, I started using bare minerals bareskin. The weather is also changing but it's about the time where my dry skin just gets drier. I have no idea where to even start with the oily slop that is my face right now. What new regimen can I start to control this? What makeup with work with this? What products (skincare and makeup) will help this? Pretty soon I'll be drowning in my own face grease!
I am new to Hourglass. I have read different reviews and am also looking at the 3 shade set. I don't know what would work! I am in my mid 40s, live in the Upper Midwest (so tan fades as the daylight does). I have brown eyes, short auburn hair, fair skinned and have redness from rosacea on the apples of my cheeks. I also have oily skin/combination skin. Would the set's three colors work? Or am I better off trying a more universally flattering shade. I want something natural for everyday professional office use. Many thanks!
i am relatively new in the makeup world, but i really do enjoy it and i find that, for the most part, the makeup brushes i have once used and loved have grown weary and just aren't up to par anymore. if you guys could recommend your favorite brushes for eyeshadow and face brushes it would be very appreciated!! also i think i need a new eye primer as well. it seems my urban decay sample just isn't working quite right anymore.
I am currently wearing Dr. Jart's Premium BB cream, but it is starting to get a little to dark for me with winter approaching. I usually switch to MUFE HD foundation in shade 115, but I'm looking for something that is a little less foundationy (if that makes sense). I would like something thats light feeling on the skin, but still somewhat full coverage and has multiple shades. I have combo-dry skin and I am fair. What are your recommendations?
I'm looking for a cream (or other method) that will get rid of my laugh lines. I'm only 23, so I don't want anything too advanced. My face is pretty skinny, which I'm guessing is part of the reason why my laugh lines are more visible than most. I'd like more than just a filler. I'd like something with a more permanent fix. Any suggestions?
