Hi, so I bought the Clarisonic Mia 3 K-Beauty set for $199 on the 23rd of November. I haven't even received my package yet and realised that the price has dropped to $140. That's a $59 price difference and I was wondering whether I could get a price adjustment on this? Or does Sephora really need me to return it and repurchase it again? Thanks!
I have a bit of acne on my face, nothing too serious but I do suffer from breakouts. I have a lot of blackheads on my chin, especially underneath the sides of my mouth. Everywhere else on my face is clear, but there. The only way I know how to get rid of them is to squeeze them out, which then causes me to get acne there. I even have scars on my chin from the blackheads. I have also used pore strips and they don't work for me at all, if anything they just cause me more acne in that area. I also get super dry skin in that area because of the blackheads. What can I do or what is a good product I can purchase to possibly help me get them under control or get rid of them. Thank you, Chelsea
I wanted to get a cream based contour kit, however, I'm stuck between two options. The Laura Mercier Flawless Contouring Palette and and the Anastasia Cream Contour kit. Pros/Cons of each? Which would you recommend more? My skin is normal- not too oily or dry. I am medium skin tone. Any help would be great.
Hi Everyone! Newbie here.. Im sure this question has been asked a thousand times, but I'm here to add a different spin onto it, If you could all please inform me what is your opinion? When I drive around shopping in the wintertime, I always have the heat cranked in my vehicle up to 25 degrees Cs (80 Fahrenheit to Americans). I noticed today that my shower gel which I bought was warm to touch when I brought it in the house (the heater was blasting right onto my bag). Does this effect the shower gel in any way? Would you all still use the shower gel or is it now need to be discarded? (I'm paranoid sorry). Lastly, at what temperature do your cosmetics and skin care or body care sit at when you are driving to and fro in the winter time? Can any of you describe products which were left in moderate heat and turned out to be fine? I guess I'm just worried the texture or smell of my shower gel is off. It will take me long time to use since it's a scent I love but I only reach for maybe once or twice a month? Will it go bad faster now that it's been warmed? Thanks for your opinions on this matter.
I was wondering what products anyone would recommend for blemishes, dark spots, and uneven skin tone. I was looking for a serum possibly, and heard great things about the Mario Badescu brand, but they don't carry it here.
Hi everyone, I'm returning a Glo Science Teeth Whitening Device that I purchased on Oct 26 and I used nine times of the whitening gel (there were ten whitening gels in the original package). However, I had canker sore and sore teeth after using it (I thought I could finish the whole treatment but I cannot stand it anymore, and the result is not as great as I expected). Neverless, I called in Sephora and asked if I could return it even I almost used up all the gels in the package, and the customer service representative said it's okay and simply to print the return slip from the sephora website. I did what she instructed, and then I realized that I forgot to return the charger of the device. So I read the return instruction again online, and on the web it says that I need to fill out a return form with the item return. However, I cannot find any return form in the sephora box, probably I threw it away without noticing it. Here're my two question now as the CSR was not giving me the full return shipping instruction: Is it okay to return an item without filling out a return form? Can I actually return the device even after almost finishing the gel? Can I make another shipment for the missing part of the device? I purchased on Oct 26, and the shipment date was on Oct 27, and on the tracking of my return item, it'll be delivered on Nov 27. Does this count as within the 30 days windows? This is all getting messy now, and I'm so panic and your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I've tried dropping it into moisturizers, primers, BB creams, tinted moisturizers, even a facial oil. In each circumstance, it looks great when first applied. However, throughout the day, it starts separating and looking cakey. And when I use a heavier hand with the drops, it either cakes up or slides off when I try to put concealer or powder over it. I don't have this problem with any other foundations in my current rotation. PLEASE HELP! I want this pricey stuff to work for me- it's too late to return it! And yes- I always use a primer and setting spray.
I would really like to try one of the cushion foundations however, I have cystic acne. It is under control but I need to be cautious of what use. Would any of the new Korean foundations be suitable? I have very oily skin, which I am sure is caused by the 10% benzoyl peroxide face cleanser that I use. I ordered the May Coop Raw Sauce to start using after I cleanse but it hasn't arrived yet. Any suggestions on Korean products would be greatly appreciated! I would really like to experiment with new products
Hi everyone! I have combo skin but right now it's pretty dry since the temperature is dropping. I am in the market for a new cleanser and I'm between Origins Frothy Face Wash and First Aid Beauty's face cleanser. Which one do you guys think I should buy? I am also prone to breaking out
Hi all, HELP, PLEASE! So, I've been told by different beauty advisors in different Sephora store locations that I'm different IQ shades. The two most recent IQ shades I received only with in one week of each other are, 1y07 and 3y07. The Too Faced foundation called Born This Way is my favorite! Love it! But the color Light Beige was way too light and pale and slightly too yellow. The Natural Beige color seems to be better. Which color is a shade darker than Natural Beige? Please keep in mind that I have a medium complexion with slightly yellow undertones. Neutral colored foundations always look best on my skin. Thank you so very much!
Hello, I am looking into getting a new, everyday foundation. I have oily skin, but still want a nice, demi-matt finish. I was looking to wear the foundation in photos but for it to be light enough for everyday. I was thinking either Makeup Forever Ultra HD or Nars all day luminous weightless foundation.
Hi there, I just purchased Smashbox CC Cream (Dark Spot Correcting). I was looking for a day cream which had SPF as well as dark spot correcting (I don't care for coverage). I'm a minimalist so I was really just looking a single, do it all. I applied the CC Cream this morning and noticed it's rather difficult to apply all over my face and neck. I am used to creams which a small amount goes a long way and for the size and price of this bottle, I'm not sure if it's worth it. Should I be mixing this with another cream? Will I still get the same benefits in terms of SPF and dark spot correcting? Does anyone else have a better suggestion for a day cream? Thanks!
Hey! I am looking for a moisturizer to complete my skin care routine.. Preferably one to be used at night (so I can bathe in it). I am partial to oils, but creams are fine. I am using a combo. of Josie Maran Cleansing Oil, for post makeup good cleaning, sometimes incorporating the JM Exfoliating Powder Cleanser... Ceramic slip and Good Genes (slip for morning, good genes every other night) Dr Dennis Gross' Alpha Beta chemical peels maybe 3-4 times a week, in the morning Boscia No Pores No Shine pre-makeup Does that sound like overkill? I dont have sensitive skin.. and my skin has been looking great with this system.. however I know I have to be smart and use a nourishing moisturizer that will really complement these cleansers and peels I'm applying. So! I have been using the Tarte Maracuja Oil.. No problems.. I bought it because it is supposed to help with elasticity; I had anti-ageing in mind when I bought it. However now I just feel weird using a cosmetic brand for skin care...I thought about switching to the Josie Maran Oils (I do have a sample) because it checks off every box I have for "concerns and skin tye" Any other product suggestions? Im considering things in the Sunday Riley Line Like Juno, Artemis and Flora.. but Im not sure which one is write for me.. My Skin: Combination (T zone oily, cheeks are a bit dry) Pores: enlarged!!, sebaceous filaments on my nose are my nemesis, clogged pores around my jaw (which will get the attention of a Derm. no products can treat these deep face demons) Not sensitive Could use some evening of skin color ***? Does anyone have experience using one or more of the sunday riley oils? Any product recommendations considering all sephora.com-available brands?
I was wondering if anyone could recommend me a good cream facial cleanser? I used to use the Body Shop's Camomile Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover all over my face (because it was gentle enough) before it got discontinued as a cream and revamped to a makeup remover balm. I find the balm to be a bit too greasy and makes me break out. I also have used Biotherms Biosource Cleansing Micellar Water which is fine, but I find it can leave my skin a little dry. I find the cream is a good "in between". I have VERY sensitive skin and lately has been prone to breakouts. I've also noticed my skin is starting to get a bit oily, but has dry spots as I have eczema around my mouth. If anyone could recommend something that wont cause me to break out or irritate my eczema that is preferably a cream cleanser (one that I don't necessarily need to rinse off afterwards nor is exceptionally pricey) I would REALLY appreciate it!! Smiley Very Happy Thanks!!! **UPDATE** Thank you for all of your input everyone! I looked into everything and have actually ended up purchasing Shiseido IBUKI Gentle Cleanser (and their IBKUI Refining Moisturizer Enriched) along with the First Aid Beauty Fab Faves to Go Kit and and really loving the cleanser in that as well. I've been using both cleansers and have noticed a drastic difference in my skin! I've been getting fewer breakouts (just in the week I've been using it), less sebum buildup throughout the day, and I recently had an eczema outbreak due to a facial I had (that they used a gel peel, even though I advised them not to), anyway, it's really helping to calm that down as well. So thank you again everyone! I really appreciate the help!
Does anyone know of a hairdryer that has a cool or cold air option? Not just a "cool shot" button. I have long hair that takes a while to dry. I will use warm air for part of my drying and styling time, but I want to be able to blow cool air constantly until I get to the styling stage. I've bought several really nice dryers with tourmaline/ionic technology, but they are so HOT. And a little button to hold down for a "shot" of air cramps my fingers after a few minutes.
My T-zone area : Normal to dry skin Cheeks: Dry skin I have extremely dry skin and small circles (I don't know how to explain?) under my eyes and cheeks area. Besides that, I have flaky and open pores too. When I use my current hada labo moisturizer, it makes my skin oily. Should I change my skincare routine? I need suggestions on how to take care of my skin. I hope anyone can help me with this problems. Thanks!
I've been eyeing the nars concealer for awhile anyone know what colour I should get? I'm a light 44 in KVD foundation and 1C1 in Estée Lauder double wear foundation and a 1 in the naked weightless foundation , thanks !

Hello, I have a weird skin type. It's definitely more on the oily side , but in the oily parts my skin is flakey ..? Not sure why this is. I have large pores and tend to breakout. I exfoliate, moisturize, prime, set... And my makeup still looks like crap.. Within 2 hours. The oil starts to separate the makeup , while ithe makeup is still clinging to the flakes? It looks terrible. I have tried brushes , besuty blender etc.. Anyone else have the same skin type as me? It's so frustrating! What are the best products for it ? Also any good products or tips for dry thick hair ? Please help!! Thanks primers ive used : smashbox , benefit, urban decay, makeup forever skin care I'm currently using : gentle cleanser by neutoragena, alcohol free gentle toner by neutoragena, and clean and clear oil free moisturizer . And garnier black head scrub exfoliater current foundation: Mac Pro long wear , and SEPHORA brand setting powder
Hi! I'm stuck home after back surgery so can't get out to my Sephora. I'm looking for a new foundation to cover/fill in acne scars. I have a great primer but need foundation. Here's my info: I'm naturally very fair with cool pink undertones but use self-tanner so not sure if that would effect the undertone of the foundation I pick. I want my face to match my neck with self-tanner on it. I think if I get a foundation with pink undertones it won't match the yellow in the tanner. I have combo skin, oily t-zone. I'm 53 and I take good care of my skin so wrinkles aren't an issue. To recap: need foundation to cover acne scars (some deep); what color/undertone should I get to work with the tone self-tanner makes my skin? I'm looking at Estée Lauder Extreme Wear (I think that's what it's called) or Kat Von D but I'm open to ANY suggestions. Phew! Ty so much for helping me! Being stuck at home sucks...especially when you wanna makeup shop!
