I am on the oily side but I get flaky on my chin, nostrils and the sides of my face sometimes. I do use acne medicine on my chin but have been using less lately. What would be the best exfoliator out there for me?
So I'm searching for a CC Cream that works for my skin tone. I have medium skin color with yellow-ish undertones. I have combination skin with some redness and uneveness. Recommendations please! I do not want anything too pink. Thanks! XO
Hi, M skin is naturally oily, sometimes super oily in t zone but normal to dry on cheeks. Due to acne medication on lower cheeks to jaw line, this part is extremely dry. So, I need a make up product that gives me the coverage for those acne/red spots, plus wont be dry on the already-so-dry areas due to acne creams. However, I need something that won't make the acne worse. Also, it has to be non-oily because of the naturally-oily skin I have. it is very hard to find something like this. I need oil control in T zone and upper cheeks but moisturizing but non clogging in the lower cheek to cover my acne/red spots. I think I better go with bb/cc cream or tinted moisturizer instead of foundation. Please help. thanks.
I have oily skin, more oil in T zone, but also oily in top cheek area (the part of the cheeks that's closest to nose/eye.) BUT, the part of the cheeks that's further down (below cheekbone until past jawline) is very dry! I have a hard time finding a good moisturizer for this type of skin. I need oil control in the middle but moisture in the bottom. I use acne medication in the jawline area and chin area that makes it even more dry. I wonder if the IBUKI moisturizer would be hydrating enough for this or do you have another suggestion? thank you!!!!!
Is sephora going to cary the Nars Skin care line? I see it on narscosmetics.com, but would prefer to purchase from Sephora. (I live in MT and have better success getting my orders from Sephora in a timely manner.)
I have a few pore minimizing primers that work during my summer oily days, but because it's getting colder, I'm finding that my makeup just completely dries out the areas of my skin with acne. So now, not only does my face makeup barely last, but it flakes off and ends up making my acne much more noticeable. I try to keep my skin as moisturized as I can, but even on okay days I get flakes!!! I desperately need a primer that smooths over my acne, keeps my face flake free, and won't break me out any further. I've been using LM's oil free TM, NYX's photo hd concealer, and Tarte's loose powder for the past few weeks. If you have any foundation or concealer recommendations those would be great too. Thanks!
I need a good pore cleaning product. The pores around my chin are constantly clogged. They are not red like zits but make my chin look bumpy. I have been using clean and clear and neutrogena twice a day but neither seem to really do much for me. I still have clogged pores and occasional break-outs. Is there a better product that would work for me? Also, I have been thinking about getting a tinted moisturizer. Which brand is the best for oily skin like mine that wont break me out? Thank you
I have eczema, so my skin is very dry and flaky. It's also sensitive, oily, and acne prone. I was wondering if anyone else has skin like this. If you do, what skin care routine works for you? I really need help. The winter months are pure hell on my skin. I end up using really heavy moisturizers to keep my skin from cracking, but then I end up with large, painful pimples. If I use facial treatments to try to help with these pimples, my skin ends up red and burning. I am currently using Origin's Check's and Balance cleanser, and Olive Essentials Toner and Moisturizer from The Face Shop.
I recently tried my friends Bosica beauty oil and LOVED IT. As I am currently searching for a new moisturizer I was wondering if the beauty oil could be used alone as a moisturizer. If not what would be a good moisturizer match to use with this beauty oil as I am definitely added it into my beauty regime!
I never really had a problem with breaking out until now and I am 20. I find it rather annoying considering what I used to use for months is no longer working. I swear my skin gets used to something and then shuts down. I tried the Murad 30 day kit and I am on my 4th day. I know that's not long at all but I cant take it anymore. My skin is red/blotchy and itchy in some areas(along my jaw line and around my nose). I cant just keep using it. It is helping with my blemishes though! that is the only thing. I do use the GlamGlow mask, love that. I am looking into Korres, Origins, REN, and Boscia and I am wanting to know what other peoples opinions are on their products! HELP!
I'm on a dance team and part of our uniform is red lips and smokey eyes. I'm pretty confident in my smokey eyes but the part I need help with are the red lips. We're out for hours on end, at football games and various sports as well as parades and I need to be able to do my makeup once and not have to redo it. Usually for a game, if I don't drink anything and I don't talk much then my lips will stay for the night, but that happens only very very rarely. So I either end up with no color in my center of my lips and just a red line around them or I look in the mirror and there's red smearness on my rather light skin. I don't want to use a long wear time of lipstick or stain either, mostly because I don't have one and I don't have money to buy some. I do have red lipstick and a generic red lip pencil. Please is there anything I can do with my poor materials to keep my color perfect and long lasting? P.S.. My lips tend to be dry and kinda cracky
Hey girls, so I have extremely sensitive eyes and they tend to water like faucets. I would like to do waterlining as I love how it looks. I've tried to do it a few times before but it never lasts. I've even tried doing eyeshadow over top to kind of seal it but that becomes a complete raccoon eye mess. Is there any tips or tricks you can provide me on how to make it work and keep it lasting without it smudging or fading ?.
Hi everybody! I'm going to a wedding on Saturday and I just now have the dress I'm going to wear! It's a true pink dress - not baby pink or hot pink. I'm not sure how to do my entire look, especially the eyes! I have fair skin, dark brown hair and eyebrows, and hazel eyes With cool undertones. I have the Naked 2 palette, Too Faced Romantic, Natural and Naked eyeshadow palettes as well. I'm not afraid to go for a dramatic look, but I don't want it to be too, too dramatic. Please help! Thanks! -Carly
After a 20 year marriage my husband decided he wanted someone else. It has been six years now since D day, and I am just now starting to pull myself out of the bed and get outside with the help of antidepressants. My hair is passed my hips, thin, and very straight. I am 43 and would like a bit of a change to see if it helps. NO CUTTING OF THE HAIR...lol I would like some input on ways to enhance the inner beauty all us women possess and perhaps regain my luminosity. I am open to suggestions pertaining to hair style, curling irons, make-up colors and application styles such as smokey eye etc... Thank you all. Hair- Medium Brunette, passed hips, straight, thin Skin tone- Medium Tan with olive under tones Eyes- Hazel
I'm going to be going to Paris for the first time in a few months, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for shops or French beauty brands I should check out when I go. (In particular, things that I can't find in the US.) Thanks!
Aria™ Sonic Skin Cleansing System Aria™ Sonic Skin Cleansing System With Josie Maran Set I checked colors on official site, and there was no rose color in the list. So that second Josie Maran Set is different color with PINK color of first one ?
I've tried several different kinds, including the Urban Decay primers, but nothing has worked. After 30 minutes to an hour, my eyeshadow and liner melts off into my crease. I'll spend so much time getting the perfect eye makeup, only to have it look horrible by the time I walk out the door.
Hi I've been wanting to change my face makeup routine for quite sometime, however I've been hesitate since I have combination and sensitive skin. All I am using currently is the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer spf 20 and I've noticed I would break out the next following day. Given my skin type, what tinted moisturizer, primer, liquid foundation, and setting powder would you recommend? Thank you
Looking for a SOFT, Fluffy, REALLY LARGE finishing brush/blending brush. So far I liked Dermablend Pro Face and Body Brush, but it has a short handle and other incidental features I don't love. I mostly will not use product with this brush, just want it to finish/blend my final contouring, buff in my already applied finishing powder, dust off any powdery areas, etc. I guess I MIGHT occasionally use it to apply more finishing powder (like the HD micro or min veil), but it's more just a luxurious way to do a last blend and dust after applying the full face. In my ideal world it would have a full handle (not one of those stubby 1-2 inch 'kabuki style' handles). Also in my fantasy world, I prefer black/silver/neutral colors so my brush collection doesn't look too crazy -- but I care about function and quality first, so if the best one is pink, so be it . I've been looking at the $50 price point, but would be willing to consider (almost) any price point -- if you love it and love to use it . I enjoy products that FEEL great, don't shed, retain their softness, shape, and quality, etc. I'd rather invest in something I can keep for many many years than buy something cheap. Recommendations!?
I'm searching for a matte (or close to matte, satin?) finish daytime moisturizer, with no silicone and no SPF. I am very sensitive to these two ingredients. Ideally, I'd like the product to be "mattifying" too over a few hours at least. I am flexible though, if it soaks in well and doesn't leave a greasy finish, that might be good enough even if it doesn't mattify. I use a heavy moisturizer at night, Kiehl's Rosa Arctica Cream, and only need a little moisturizer/smoothing during the day before make up. Anything heavier or with a greasy finish, no matter how long I let it "soak in," causes my make up to sort of slide off within an hour or two, or separate, oxidize, etc. I use Bare Minerals powder foundation (currently, the matte), HD finishing powder, or sometimes Too Faced oil control finishing powder (but this one makes me chalky, I'd like to avoid the need for it). I have normal to combination skin (normal everywhere else, but slightly oily in T zone and chin). Any recommendations? Currently I'm trying: Jack Black Dry Erase Calming Fresh Umbrian Clay Moisturizer Kiehl's No-Shine Hydrator Hauschka Melissa balancing day cream However, I don't LOVE any of these yet after a little testing. They don't seem to really be mattifying over even a 2-4 hour wear, maybe it's just my skin or I am oilier than I think! I really don't have uber-oily skin! Worst case if there's a small amount of light silicone in a product that is otherwise awesome, silicones (dimethicone, and all those - oxanes) should be WAY down the list of ingredients... then maybe I could try it!!?
