oily skin @ the end of the day..make up looks terrible

Does anyone have any suggestions for keeping makeup looking good all day? I find that by the time I get home from work my face looks terrible. It's oily in some spots, dry and cakey on my forehead..any tips?? or products? i'd rlly appreciate some info on this topic. thanks!!

Hi! First of all, make sure you wash your face before you put your makeup on and after you take it off. Every time after you wash your face, use an oil free moisturizer. Then, to let your moisturizer set...wait five minutes before applying your makeup. Start off your makeup with a good primer. Try the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer. It works to perfect the texture of your skin so that your makeup goes on smoothly and lasts all day. After that, apply your liquid foundation however you prefer to apply that. If you apply it with a stippling brush, I find that prevents cakiness. After you apply your foundation, set it with a powder. The powders from Bare Minerals, Makeup Forever, and Nars are great. Lastly, you should really use a setting spray for your makeup. Try the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray. It really helps your makeup stay in place all day looking great! Another thing you could do is carry around oil blotting sheets. You just blot them on your face if you ever get oily and your makeup will not come off with it! Good luck and I hope this helped!
