Hi chinni85,
I would recommend trying Carol's Daughter Transitioning 1-2-3, which is designed for those that have had chemical straightening treatments in the past and are now transitioning. This set will help reduce shedding, while hydrating and repairing your damaged hair. The secret is in the Biotin and Soy Protein, both of which will help in making your mane stronger.

Leave in conditioners and hair masks are both excellent ways to give your hair the hydration that it needs while transitioning. I really like Wen's Sweet Almond Mint Re Moist Intensive Hair Treatment. It really quenches my hair, the longer you leave it in the better the results are. I use the mask bi weekly for about 45 minutes.
