make up remover/moisturizer for the eye area

(0) Hearts

I'm 51 and have pretty good elasticity for my age. My face is generally clear, although I do get dry patches from time to time. Recently I have noticed that eye make removers and even some moisturizers make the sensitive skin around my eye tingle. It's not quite a burning sensation and there is no redness that I can detect, but I'd like to find a good product to cleanse and moisturize that area before it gets bad.

I love Talika Eye Makeup Remover products they are so cooling and moisturizing. You can't get them at Sephora but you can get them at Nordstrom.com  Hope this helps!

Hi McAlvie I love Boscia MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil.  You can use it all over, but I love it particularly for my eye makeup. It is super gentle and dissolves everything within minutes without having to rub.

Bliss Lid & Lash wash is a cooling gel that can even be put in the fridge. It's gentle enough that it doesn't sting my eyes, but still removes waterproof makeup. I've been repurchasing it for years!

Another good one is Koh Gen Do cleansing spa water

Are you following with an eye cream or gel? Before I switched to the Bliss Lid & Lash wash I was using a more hydrating eye gel to avoid the dry patches I was getting from too much rubbing.

have you tried Make Up Forever Sens' Eyes? I love it and it is really gentle.  My fave Sales Associate at Sephora recommended it to me because she swears by it (she has VERY sensitive eyes/skin), I have not been disappointed. Make Up Forever sells it in two sizes too.
