Hello,
When picking a shade for your eye brows you typically want to use a shade that is lighter than your natural brow color if there are hairs already there. For example if you are blonde I would go with a light taupe shade in a pencil or a powder. If you are a med tone brown I would pick a soft brown/brown taupe shade. If you have darker brows I would pick a brunette/darker brown shade but one that is not black. Black brows tend to make the face look to harsh. One of my favorite brow pencils is the Universal Brow Styler by Dior. It actually self adjusts to the right color to match really well. I like using a pencil if you are having to create fuller brows with hair like strokes. Hope this helps.
