foundation/TM/BB/CC for....?

I'm looking for a formula that won't accentuate or settle into my smile lines. I'm 28, so they aren't really bad yet, but ARE absolutely more noticeable when I wear any sort of face makeup. I do use a primer, and of course exfoliate and moisturize my skin, plus use brushes to blend, so the weak link has to be the makeup.

What formulas and brands would you suggest? Looking for medium/moderate coverage that will smooth out the appearance of the lines and stay put all day/night. (Instead of transferring to clothing and phone screen!)

Brands I have not had luck with so far: Clinique, Bobbi Brown.

I've been having great luck with Tarte's bb primer and mineral powder. They go together like peanut-butter and chocolate, I swear. The bb primer has a really nice whisper-light feeling on my skin, and the powder doesn't leave a cake-y residue on my black clothing - which I own a lot of.

I've had same prob with all liquid formulas, so I'm back to loving Lancome's Dual Finish foundation.  You can use it dry for light coverage or apply with a damp sponge for more coverage.  Adore the stuff!

I'm 27 and like you, don't necessarily have wrinkles but I do have some fine lines on my forehead, which can be so bothersome with creasing! I like mixing equal parts of BB cream with with a dewy foundation. Although I have combo skin, I do not like matte foundations whatsoever because I find that because they are so dry, they really settle in to lines and pores. I really really like the Dr. Jardt Water Infuse BB Cream, it feels amazing, but I had to switch to the black one because it is paraben free whereas the blue one is not (I have really sensitive skin). The Tarte Maracuja Foundation is so light and dewy it is perfect for mixing, also is 50% off on their website so I think I am going to stock up! Only $21 and $5 shipping :smileyhappy:

Hi Saschaec, another option to try is the Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation.  It has mother of pearl pigments that even out your skin tone and diminish the appearance of fine lines with a flawless finish.  It's also waterproof, so it won't budge all day, and has buildable coverage.

Hi Saschaec Since you said you want medium/moderate coverage, I'd stick with a foundation. Korres Quercetin & Oak Antiageing Foundation would be a good choice for you. It gives a soft focus finish and helps lessen the appearance of lines.
