I am looking for a brown eyeliner for tightlining that will not transfer down to the water line. waterline smudging makes me look like a raccoon, something that will have the longest staying power as possible and will hopefully not transfer to the waterline

Have you tried using Laura Mercier - Tightline Cake Eye Liner in Mahogany Brown? I have black ebony and it doesn't transfer at all. I really like mine. Hope this helps. :smileyhappy:

I've been using Tarte's waterproof gel liners and they've been great for me.

They have a shimmery bronze and a matte brown as well as some other options. Good luck finding something that works for you!

Re: eyeliner

I second the Tarte eyeliner. This stuff does not budge or smudge once applied. I've worn it to the beach and it was still on without any smudging or fading at the end of the day

Urban Decay's 24/7 liners are fantastic.  Huge shade range, too!

The Giorgio Armani pencil eyeliners and Chanel's twist-up liners do NOT move whatsoever. Sephora.com just needs to start carrying both lines :smileyhappy:

Hi Betogether I recommend trying Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes.  It is rich and creamy, but also water and smudge proof so it stays put!
