St. Tropez...lotion, mousse, or spray?
I am pregnant and cannot (and don't want to) use tanning beds this summer...I know I will get sun though, and even with sunscreen I will end up getting a tan line. (halter top) I want a quick tan that will last a couple days for each of the weddings, especially the one in late August when I know I will have tan lines.  (The other one is next Saturday.)  Which of these products do you think I should get?  I know it depends on my preference; to be honest, I haven't used self-tanner since high school 10+ years ago so I don't know my preference. http://www.sephora.com/self-tan-bronzing-lotion-P2 61321   http://www.sephora.com/self-tan-bronzing-mousse-P2 61322 http://www.sephora.com/self-tan-bronzing-spray-P26 1323

Q. Cream Foundation and/or Universal Brush
Pro Visionary Modeling Foundation Brush #111   vs.   Cover FX Brush   I need a brush that will work with cream foundation and I am torn between the Sephora one and the Cover FX Cream Foundation brush.   How do the 2 compare?   I figure the Cover FX one will work with their cream foundation well (which is the one I am fixing to get) but it would be nice to have a more "universal" brush that will work with liquid foundation, which is normally what I get but apply with a sponge.   So how do the 2 compare? Can I get the Sephora one and expect the same level of application and look as with the Cover FX one? Thanks!

I'm having trouble getting my benefit high beam to blend in even using the beauty blender...
I have benefit's high beam as my highlighter because since I am very fair with cool skin it was the best for the job. The problem I have been having is that I will put a dash across my cheekbones, and my brow and nose and I can't get it to blend where it doesn't look like I have a streak across my face. I'm using a beauty blender (which I love) but would it be better to use my fingers or a brush? Or am I just doing something wrong?

foundation/TM/BB/CC for....?
I'm looking for a formula that won't accentuate or settle into my smile lines. I'm 28, so they aren't really bad yet, but ARE absolutely more noticeable when I wear any sort of face makeup. I do use a primer, and of course exfoliate and moisturize my skin, plus use brushes to blend, so the weak link has to be the makeup.   What formulas and brands would you suggest? Looking for medium/moderate coverage that will smooth out the appearance of the lines and stay put all day/night. (Instead of transferring to clothing and phone screen!)    Brands I have not had luck with so far: Clinique, Bobbi Brown.

Naked1 or naked2 for brown skin and dark brown eyes?
Hi! I cant decide which palette would look better on me... my friend has the naked2 and in this pic i'm wearing some shades from it. I only used like two shades, so i'm not sure how the others would look... I wanted to purchase one of them soon, but it seems impossible to choose which one!! What do you think would suit my dark eyes and brown skin complexion? Thank you!!

Need a foundation recommendation!!!
I have combo/oily skin and I need a new foundation. Everything I try seems to just sit on top of my face and just melts off mid day. I swear a lot and that doesn't help my case. I need something with staying power that doesn't make me outlier than I already am and something that won't irritate my skin. However I don't want some cakey makeup look either. I want to try to look as natural and flawless as possible and not like I have a pound of makeup on my face. Any suggestions?!?!?!?!?

Clarins UV Plus Regular VS. Tint and When to Apply?
I have been looking at Clarins UV Plus HP Day Screen for a while and even got a sample of it (the one with the tint) after it was used during my makeover. During my makeover, the Clarins with the tint was mixed with Peter Thomas Roth's CC Cream.    I have never used a daily sunscreen before and I am very new to skincare.    Just so you know, I have been doing a daily skincare routine each morning and night and use in this order: Nude Perfect Cleansing Oil (rinse), Peter Thomas Roth FIRMx Peeling Gel Exfoliant (2-3 times per week) (rinse), Nude ProGenius Treatment Oil, followed by Nude Radiant Day Moisturizer.     I was wondering about two things:   -What are either the pros and cons of the one that has the tint and the one without or which one do you use and recommend?    -When do you apply it? Is it before or after I moisturize? If I choose to wear cc cream or a tinted moisturizer, should I mix it with the product, or do I put it on beforehand?     Thank you in advance! ^-^

NARS Tinted Moisturizer VS. Peter Thomas Roth CC Cream?
Summer is on it's way and I am looking for something to wear after I moisturize my skin that has an SPF. I believe I have normal dry skin.   I have tried Laura Mercier's and NARS tinted moisturizer and I liked the NARS one a lot better, but I'm still unsure. When I used both of these products, after some time my skin dried around and above the apples of my cheeks, my nose, and in between my brows.   In addition, when I had my makeover at Sephora, they combined Peter Thomas Roth's cc cream with Clarin's uv plus high protection with tint. After these were used I didn't really notice any dry patches. Does the application make a difference? I applied the tinted moisturizers with my hands, but during my makeover, a wet sponge was used...   I should also mention that I am rather new to the world of makeup and I could be applying them incorrectly which is why I might get dry spots from time to time, but I have been doing a skincare routine every morning and night and make sure to moisturize before I apply any makeup.   I just wanted to ask what any of you would recommend. NARS tinted moisturizer or the Peter Thomas Roth cc cream. Also, does the way that it is applied affect how it will look?     Thank you in advance for answering my questions! ^-^

Help with Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer Shade
Hi. Just wondering if someone could help recommend what shade of the new Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer I should use. I use the Nars Sheer Glow foundation in the shade Punjab, and am looking for something to use to brighten under the eyes. I can't really decide between the shades Custard, Ginger, and Honey. Ginger seems like it would be my exact skin tone which wouldn't do much for brightening under my eyes, but I don't know how much lighter Custard is. Honey is a very peach shade, which is usually what I go for in an under eye concealer but I haven't seen it in person so I'm unsure what kind of peach shade concealer it is and how it would suit my skin tone. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Applying liner/shadow under the eyes
For my daily look, I wear eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow on the lids of my eyes only.  Any time I have attempted to put something on my lower lashes line -liner, mascara - it just seems to either make my eyes look really small or I feel like it accentuates lines under my eyes.  Is there a way to apply something under my eyes for a more dramatic look with out the negative effects?

Calming Cleanser
On Friday, my dermatologist diagnosed me with sudden-onset Rosacea (mild redness). She previously thought I had given myself a chemical burn but since my skin is still slightly pink and I flush now when slightly hot, it must be Rosacea. I'm currently using the prescriptions that she gave me, however, I'm on the search for a new cleanser. I've been using Cetaphil's gentle cleanser the past 1.5 mths and while it doesn't irritate my skin, it doesn't completely remove my make-up and is slightly drying. Any recommendations for a calming cleanser for sensitive, dry, and rosacea-prone skin? It would be nice if it could help with the redness as well. Thanks!

Q. Help for my Mom's sun and chemo aged skin...
Hello! My mother was recently down about how her face looks. She is in her 60s, grew up as a dairy farmer's daughter (in the sun..A LOT) and has gone through chemo on two seperate occasions. She now helps my grandmother when needed and does stuff for my dad, who has become disabled. Needless to say, I think her skin is a bit stressed. I think she's beautiful, but if this could help her make her feel better about things..   My sister is marrying toward the end of the year, and she really wants to look her best for photos. (She normally shys away from them).  I thought a weekly exfoliation, plus an intensive moistorizor for the skin would help with the base. But I don't know what products would be best for aged/chemo skin. Also any ideas on a good primer/foundation for her? She is pale/slightly tan (she tends to stay out of the sun these days).  As I stated, I am used to buying for me (30 years old), and am a bit clueless for the mature lady.  I got her to the Clinque counter once, but they suggested about a billion products to buy on the spot, so she was turned off. (And a bit fustrated). Thanks for your hellp!

Will Sephora be carrying Tom Ford's new fragrance Sahara Noir?
Description from Fragrantica: Sahara Noir is inspired by the mystery, beauty and luxury of the Middle East. Tom Ford decided to focus on incense, a highly valued ingredient which symbolizes respect and devotion and has been used in religious ceremonies for centuries. The balsamic and resinous shades of incense remind us of distant lands and stimulate the senses like a breath of desert wind.

What is a good primer and medium coverage foundation for combination skin?
I'm new at face makeup so I went to my local Sephora and asked for a recommendation for a good primer and foundation for combination skin. They recommended me to Benefit's The Porefessional and the Smashbox Healthy FX foundation w/ SPF 15. However, when I tried the products at home I knew that they were definitely not for me. The Porefessional made areas of my face dry and flaky! The Smashbox foundation was way too orange for me and that is strange because I have yellow undertones. It also does not set even when I apply setting powder. I heard the Victoria Secret's VS Pro Airbush FX Perfecting Primer w/ SPF 20 is great and is a good dupe for the famous Smashbox primers. Any opinions? My forehead tends to get oily over a couple of hours because I have bangs. My cheeks tend to be drier. Is there a good primer and foundation for me?
