Hi there, I'm getting married in October and I really want to wear a classic red lip that I won't have to reapply every 10 minutes. I have cool undertones and am very pale and I've tried some red lipsticks that say they are cool undertones and they still just don't seem right. Even the Sephora Liquid Lipstick in their Always Red doesn't seem to be the one for me and it's supposed to be Universal. I want one that makes my teeth look whiter. Any suggestions?
Hello there! went in for some suggestions for my wedding day and the makeup artist suggested Buxom Ruby temptress for me. I love it and was looking for a lip liner that someone might suggest to use with this. I also noticed I tend to wear out the lipstick quickly and have to reapply. Are they any other long lasting wear solutions that would be similar in color to the ruby temptress? Thank you.
Hi I'm basically a very old skincare novice, completely clueless (you'll probably see another post from me about makeup haha). I'm trying to take better care of myself so I'm starting with my skin. I'm 33 and my 2nd son aged me probably 10 years. I've done the sporadic facial, the sephora mask, cheap and expensive products based on Sephora recommendations but there's no plan or consistency really. I need help building a routine. My skin is ok for the most part, I would say normal although I have no idea what's the criteria to label it otherwise :/ My biggest concern is my eyes, since the birth of my son last year they took a big hit...bags, wrinkles, dark circles. The other concern is that my freckles (On cheeks and nose) are merging together and creating age spots...dark spots? I was always happy with them now I'm super self-conscious. Would you lovely ladies help me with advice for someone my age? Probably a step by step daily routine with product recommendations? do i need a peel, mask? dermatologist visit? when to do facials? I don't want to say there's no budget , but this is very important to me (I got hit with PPD hard) so I'm prepared to make an investment
This might be a pretty dumb question but here I go! So I have been recently revamping my makeup routine. I am a teacher and need something that I can apply quickly while still having good coverage throughout the day. A ton of glam vloggers use a pressed powder (with color) after applying foundation and a translucent loose power after blending concealer. Are both of these powders necessary or could I just stick with one? Currently using the Laura Mercier translucent powder and don't know if I need to add another. Thanks! Also, is highlighter a must for a basic everyday look?
Hello! I have different primers and foundations that I use each day depending on my mood, the condition of my skin, the time of the month, and what is within reach if I am in a hurry when I am getting ready. If time is not issue and all of my make-up is neatly organized as it should be, what primer what you recommend I use with powder foundation?
I got a sample of the Dior Jelly Mask and I love it, it makes my skin feel so soft after I wash it off. However, the price is pretty high, and I was wondering if there are any masks that are similar and a little cheaper.
hello All, I hope you are all doing well, I am looking for a natural looking light coverage luminous healthy sun-kissed glow cream bronzer that stays on all day with my oily skin. Thank you. I was also looking for a super natural bbb or cc cream that has sheer to light coverage and looks like healthy skin and hopefully something extremely similar to the smash box camera ready bb water. THANK YOU!!!! .
Hello! As you know Benefit has came out with several brow kits. But I'm pretty new when it comes to brows. And to be honest, I'm really not sure what's the difference among them. Do you guys have any recommendations on which kit would be best? Or if you have other good brow products, please share too!
I am looking to buy a new foundation online but don't know what shade would be right for me. I just finished a bottle of NARS light 1 that matched me very well but am looking for a new one to try out. Any suggestions? Skin is combination and medium coverage is preferred but not necessary
I need to switch up my skincare routine. I want to try Lancer's 2 step regimen or try some Colbert MD products. Has anyone tried these? I have little bit of acne prone skin and use veltin and aczone gel for it. Please let me know!
I am looking to upgrade my Chi straightener that I have had for 4 years. I have my options down to the drybar straightener or the T3 Luxe straightener. I have very thick corse hair. Can someone please tell me what one they recommend?
Hello, I'm trying to determine which shade in the Benefit Boi-ing Airbrush concealer I should buy. For foundation I am currently wearing Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear in 250 Bisque W. Thanks for the help!
I had questions about using these products. I am in love with Ren Keep Young and Beautiful for my face. I apply it after my serum, wet with a moisture spray, massage, then top with my day moisturizer. I also use the Ren Keep Young and Beautiful Instant Brightening Beauty Shot Eye Lift, but I'm not as impressed. I don't feel or see the big difference. I place the Ren eye treatment on after eye cream. (May be I'm not using it right?) At a makeover I was introduced to the J. One Jelly Pack. Love it!!! I would like to to use this as well, but is it a one or the other to get maximum benefit? Can I use my J. One under the eyes instead of the Ren eye treatment?
Hey ya'll!! So I get married in September (3 months!!!) and I'm STILL looking for a good foundation to wear on my wedding day . We recently got a Sephora in my town so I no longer have to drive 2.5 hours to one or order online, so I went in and got the Make Up Forever HD liquid foundation and the shade match was lovely. However, it seemed to settle into my smile lines and get shiny and greasy throughout my workday (even with a good primer) so I'm not sure it would hold up well at my wedding. I have combination skin I'd say. I get oily in my T-Zone and have larger pores. Any help recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Need something with no SPF so it doesn't cause flashback in photos! THANKS!
Hello All, I am looking for a setting powder that doesn't dramatically change the finish of a dewy foundation, sets makeup in place, isn't completely matte, and makes skin look airbrushed. I know its a lot but hopefully a dream powder like that exists!! I also am looking for a really good inner rim liner for sensitive eyes and an easy to use liquid eyeliner or any eyeliner that is easy to use!!Thank you!!
Hello there, I am looking for some advice on how to unclog my pores and make them smaller. I have combination skin, and my skincare routine is currently using boscia exfoliating peel gel and boscia purifying cleansing gel twice a day, with little improvement. I also use the glamglow supermud clearing treatment every now and then. I was looking into the clarsonic mia 2 brush, with how expensive this is, I am wondering if it would be beneficial for my situation. also open to new face washes!! thank you!
Hello all, It's soon time for my girlfriend's birthday and I'm looking to buy makeup and other equipment for her but I have literally no idea about makeup and such so I really need help. She's a pale, blonde haired woman if that helps? Looking to spend between $200-$300. Thank you for any advice in advance
I've been told I have nice eyebrows but I disagree. As you can see, they're very uneven and one is more circular than the other. They ruin my face. I don't know what to do with them, I'm definitely not an expert. I would go in with tweezers myself, but I'm afraid of messing them up. Should I try to grow out the smaller one to match the larger one? Orr should I have a professional shape the larger, less defined one to look like the smaller one? (If thats possible) Please help! Thank you!!
