hi, I was wondering if there was a light pink lipstick shade (that isn't any kind of coral) that would work with tan skin that has yellow undertones (I'm pretty sure they're yellow)? I'm half alaska native, half white if that helps? Thanks!

Too Faced Boudoir Eyes I am open to any other suggestion by you guys.
Any recs for a GREAT angled brush for filling in brows w/ powder? I have tried benefit, MUFE, too faced, sephora, UD (not full size -- the ones that come in the brow box -- not good), and MAC (can't remember what number, I got rid of it) and I am sick of wasting money on these things. Any recs much appreciated!! TIA
What's a good moisturizer that has SPF and also controls oil/acne prone skin? I use the Murad Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15-PA++ but I no longer see it on the website. Have they discontinued this product? I've tried the Clinique City Block moisturizer with spf 25 but it leaves streaks on my face. Any suggestions what to use?
Hello! Back at the Rouge Beauty before brunch event I bought Marc Jacob's Genius gel foundation and really liked it in the beginning. But lately my skin is not looking great (pimples a bit and it just looking dull) and my foundation seems to be 'sitting' on my face. I know I need to address my skincare but I'm wondering if anyone has had success w/this foundation and have any advice. I thought maybe a primer would be better but I feel like that makes foundation "sit" on the face even more so. I have half a bottle left so I don't want to throw it away. Thanks all!
I currently have they're real mascara and I love the way it makes my lashes look but it burns my eyelids and causes my eyes to feel dry and red. I noticed that most drugstore mascaras have been also burning my eyes. I really need to find a very gentle mascara. What is the best mascara for the most sensitive eyes?
I am looking to purchase a new red lipstick with blue undertones! I am absolutely in love with Taylor Swift's lip color in her music video, Wildest Dreams, and I was hoping for some opinions on which color best matches! I have no preference as to brand or if it is matte/velvet. Thanks!
I have tried a few different types of foundation but none seem to feel right other than heavy and cakey. My skin is dry but oily at the same time and i have red cheeks so i like to be able to cover those up.
Hi all, For the past couple of days, something weird has been happening to my skin and I wasnted to post here to see if any of you have any experiences/thoughts on this. At night, I always cleanse my skin with either Clinique Take the Day Off Balm or Ole Henriksen Cleansing Gelee. I rub it into my dry face and then use a wet washcloth to take it off. This typicaly feels wonderful and refreshing. However, for the past couple of nights, my skin starts burning after I use the washcloth and take it off. It's so strange! The burning subsides after a while. There is no other irritation throughout the day - just when this is done. It also continues to burn if I use my toner (which does not have alcohol in it) after the cleanse. The only changes to my routine have been that I have been applying sunscreen more heavily (as in, in the right amount since I think I wasn't using the correct amount earlier), and have been applying it twice daily. On one of the days, I trialed a new sunscreen Supergoop Everyday Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50 and on the other day, I used the Supergoop City Susncreen Serum SPF 30 that I usually use. I have no idea what's happening - is my skin suddenly not liking chemical sunscreens? I have pared down my night routine to just applying a face cream at night - no serums or anything. This just scared me a bit since this doesn't usually happen to me and I have no way of figuring out what is going wrong. Please help!!
I have been attempting to learn how to apply a full face of makeup. Since I have started using makeup in high school, I usually just stick to a cat eye eyeliner and mascara. Then, I graduated to using foundation and concealer but I don't feel that I am doing fully properly. I want to go out and buy everything that I would need to be able to actually do a full face of makeup, but I don't even know where to start. What tools should I get? What products should I be getting from foundation or powders? Or even where can I go to get more info to know where to start? Thanks for taking the time to answer!
This isn't necessarily about any product, but I'm an aspiring makeup artist. My school has an art club and they said I can have a stand on the side and put makeup on people. The thing is, I have to buy all the brushes and makeup supplies. I want the biggest bang for my buck when it comes to a makeup value set or a brush set. My budget is about $250-350. What products would you recommend if I'm going to put a full face on someone but still within budget?
Is Ole Henrisken's Sheer transformation moisturizing lotion as well as Truth serum OK to use during pregnancy? I checked the label ingredients but wanted to ask if it contains harmful products like high concentration of AHA or other stuff not safe to use during pregnancy.
Ive only tried: -Kat Von D Lock-It -MUFE -Benefit Cosmetics 'Hello Flawless' -Sephora 10 HR Wear -Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour -Becca Ever Matte Poreless -Nars All Day Luminous I really liked Estee Lauder Double Wear , almost a favorite but its not sweat proof.
I am at my whit's end. I need some serious beauty help. I've asked before on this forum, but the advise really didn't help, unfortunately. I live in a small town/city and the Sephora store here is horrible. It's inside of JCPenney and it's very small. The girls that work there are usually friendly, but their advise is horrible. Most of the time the girls grab the first thing they see, or the most "trendy" brand and guarantee it'll work or I can return. I'm tired of returning. I'm tired of trying product after product without the results I am searching for. First off, let me apologize for this rather lengthy post. I have a lot of factors going against me and I could use as much help as I can get. Here goes: I have combination skin. I'm very, very oily in my t-zone, around my nose, and chin. I am also dry in between my eyebrows, in my eyebrows, and around my nose. I went out of town to a Sephora for beauty advise at a larger store. The gals were fantastic! The girl who gave me my skin consultation suggested that I actually have dry skin and that I was working too hard to combat the oiliness and making everything worse. She suggested the Boscia Tsubaki line of products. I've been so happy so far. My acne has cleared and my skin feels soft. I use the Deep Hydration Mask at night, then I use the Super-Charge Overnight Moisture in the day. I usually use the Tsubaki cleanser as well, but I recently decided to try the Purifying cleanser since my store was out of the Tsubaki. I exfoliate around 2-3 times a week. I do my best to take very good care of my skin. Here is the major issue. My skin is still extremely oily still. I apply foundation and within an hour I look like an oil slick. Even matte foundations make my skin oily. The other issue, everything clings to the dryness. And, to top it off, I am super red around my nose area. Full coverage foundation don't even hide the horrible redness around my nose. My makeup NEVER looks flawless or well blended, no matter how hard I try to blend. I've bought countless different foundation brushes and still have the same results. I have PCOS, which causes me to have a lot of peach fuzz on my face. I usually have it threaded, but it still can get thick before my next appointment and my foundation makes it worse. I look I applied my foundation in the dark. My foundation gets so cakey around my nose, mouth, chin, and in between my eyebrows. I've used medium, build able coverage and full coverage. I always start with a small amount and build it up. I'm at a total loss here. I've tried so many foundations and nothing seems to work for me. I need something full coverage and something that will blend well and cover my redness. I see so many girls around with gorgeous, flawless makeup and I have no clue why I can't achieve the same look! Please, please, please give me some insight into what I can do. I've watched countless makeup tutorials. I've bought so many products. I've tried everything. My list of products that haven't worked: Makeup Forever HD - slides on my face, doesn't cover, breaks me out Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Flawless Fluide - horrible oiliness, doesn't last long, breaks me out Lancôme Teint Idole - Makes me oily Tarte Amazonian Clay - Makes me look like an oil slick. It's so bad. Revlon ColorStay combo/oily skin - Makes me oily, breaks me out Estée Lauder Double Wear - Oxidizes. I looked like an Oompa Loompa. Urban Decay Naked foundation - Oxidizes, oily, not enough coverage Too Faced Born This Way - Breaks me out, causes horrible oil, not enough coverage. I've tried several others, but can't think of them now. I use a primer. I switch between Cover FX mattifying primer, Smashbox photo finish light, and Too Faced Primed and Poreless Pure. I also use Nars Radiant concealer for under my eyes (it creases so bad). I've tried Makeup Forever full cover (creases and is cakey), and the new Bare Minerals concealer (looks very sheer). I've also used NYX HD green concealer for the redness (doesn't work). I also set my foundation only in the oily areas with the Hourglass Radiant Light, Makeup Forever HD translucent powder, or cheap Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder. I tap it into my skin with a Sephora 50 pro powder brush, and I always wait until after my foundation has dried. Suggestions? I don't mind a little oil, like a dewy, fresh look. I just don't like the major grease face I am getting! Thank you!
Hello, I'm trying to find a lotion or cream that will work for me. I have weird combination skin. It is oily, flaky dry and acne prone all over, all at the same time. I am 23 years old, with very fair skin and I live in Colorado at high altitude. I have the Clarisonic Mia 2, and I am currently using the Clinique 3-step with the Moisture Surge for additional help, but it isn't working. My chief concern is the dry/flaking skin that just won't go away. I've visited dermatologists and they've told me to try Cera Ve...which didn't help me either. Any help/product recommendations are appreciated. Thank you!
Hello, I am looking for a new face wash. I have been using the clarisonic face wash with my clarisonic but I dont feel the fash wash is the best for me. My skin is dry but also needs brightening. I use Korres lotions and I like those but their fash wash seemed like it may be too frothy. thanks!
What is the best sticky primer? I am looking for a primer that has a sticky feel once applied to the face, as I find it stops my concealer from creasing under my eyes when I use a sticky primer/moisturiser. It must be because it makes my makeup stick to my face and stops it from sliding around.
I'm only 23 so I'm probably a little too young to be using this serum but I got it as part of a package so I thought why not. I have combination to dry skin and I don't normally have pimples unless it's the time of the month. But I've been having breakouts ever since I started using this serum. It's been a week and the pimples just keep popping out, although at a slower rate. Should I stop using it and return it or should I use a smaller amount for my skin to adapt to it?
So sometimes my makeup looks nice and flawless, then sometimes it looks a little rough or chalky.. my face gets oily and sometimes not.. i dont always use high end make up .. but how do i get my make up to look like this.. >> i would also like to know the proper way to line my lips.
