Hello, I made a reservation to have my makeup done for prom and I'm super excited. I know I have to spend 50 dollars first. I was wondering, if I want to wear false lashes, do I have to buy them and have he/she put them on? Also, is it likely my artist will be able to do a full face job in 45 minutes? Thank you!
Hello I just purchased makeup forever HD foundation stick #127 which I love!!! I'm trying to purchase a concealer but not sure which one is the best for me I have really dry skin also... what color to purchase?
Hi! I am 19 years old (lol my mom and I share an account) and I have extremely oily skin with enlarged pores, acne, and lots of texture. I recently got a sample of the Murad Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15 PA++. It has done a fairly good job of keeping my oiliness at bay and I like that it has SPF in it, but I'm curious about the Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion for Blemish Prone/Oily Skin because it says it works better for smoothing out texture (I have lots of acne, enlarged pores, and bumpiness in the center of my face). I will be visiting my local Sephora to test out the consistency of the skin perfector but I was wondering what others think of these two products.
I've been using Bare Minerals original foundation for at least 10 years. Lately I don't feel like I get the coverage that I used to. I would like to try something different but I don't live anywhere near a store to get help picking a new one out. I do have issues with acne so I don't want anything super heavy or oily. I've been reading the reviews on the Urban Decay Weightless ultra definition liquid makeup. Any thoughts on that one? or any other recommendations? I wear medium beige in bare minerals. Thanks in advance!
I have pretty pale skin, and i am trying to find a foundation to wear that isn't too overpowering. I went in and was reccomended the UD all nighter, and don't get me wrong it is an amazing foundation, it's just too much for everyday wear for me. Any ideas? I have combination skin.
Hello, I am the shade Y215 in Makeup Forever's Water Blend Face and Body Foundation. I am wanting to purchase Makeup Forever's Ultra HD foundation and Too Faced's Born This Way foundation. I do not have a Sephora near me and I was hoping someone could help. I have an olive/yellow undertone and I am kind of on the pale side right now.
I am 30 years old and I have normal to dry skin. I never had acne throughout my teen years but since hitting my mid 20's, my skin has been a mess. I have multiple cystic acne bumps on my cheeks, hairline, and chin at all times and I cannot seem to be able to find a routine that consistently helps with this. I used Create (a benzoperoxide and tea tree oil mix) for a period of time and this reduced my acne but seems to have stopped working. I feel like I have tried everything... Glycolic Acid Serum and Moisturizer, Good Genes, Drunk Elephant Framboise Serum, etc, etc. I am getting married in a year and would like to have nice, clear skin for my big day. Please help me find a good gentle routine that would help!!! I'm desperate...
Sorry new to chat... Now that I have how to post properly... I've been using immaculate foundation from hourglass and I love it... I am almost out... I went online everywhere to find it in shell and it's sold out everywhere and I mean everywhere... On this site... On their site... I am bummed... And suggestions? Another brand, but similar? I'm open... my skin really reacts nicely to hourglass... it's just frustrating...Thanks so much...
I currently wear a 3.25 to a 3.5 in UD Naked Skin Weightless Foundation. The 3.25 will be too light once winter is over. I have cool skin undertones. What shade should I wear in Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation?
Hi, my face breaks out in red itchy patches and hives whenever I use face powders, bronzers, and blush that contain talc. For some reason I'm okay with talc when it's in liquid foundation, though. But if my face isn't completely covered in foundation, whatever skin is exposed when I apply bronzer all over will turn red and itchy, even up into my hairline. Cover FX matte setting powder has been a life saver for me as it is talc and paraben-free. I see they make a bronzer too, so I should give that a try, as my Tarte Amazonian Clay bronzer and Benefit Hoola bronzer make me itchy. Seems to be getting worse lately, maybe it's the dry winter air that causes my skin to be extra irritated and sensitive. My question is, besides Cover FX, what other brands make talc-free products? "talc-free" isn't a filter that comes up whenever I search on the Sephora site Thanks a lot
Do you set your concealer before or after applying your powder foundation? I recently bought Laura Mercier's Translucent Setting Powder, but I'm not sure if I should use it before of after applying my bare minerals bare pro pressed powder foundation.
So, I purchased the coverfx cream foundation in G60. I found it a tad too yellow. But I'm worried that the neutral series will be too pink! Do any of you ladies have ant experience with this foundation and their range of shades? I am 6.5/7.5 shade in armani luminous silk, syracuse in nars, and in mac nc40. depending on the brand and foundation i go with either warm undertones, golden, olive, and sometimes neutral. So it can be difficult for me.
What's the difference between cream and lotion for your hands? I am looking for something that isn't greasy and keep hands healthy looking. My main issue is my nails/skin around them. Also is there any night time treatment?
Hello, I want to get my friend the Urban Decay Naked Palette as she has talked about it incessantly. I want to surprise her and I'm a guy who knows next to nothing about makeup. I tried doing my own research on whether I should get Naked 1, 2 or 3 but it is a bit confusing. I do know she recently got a Mac concealer that is NW25 which I Googled and it says it is Neutral-Warm; she also got foundation that is N5 from Mac. Does that mean Naked 3 will work for her well? It's her birthday and I want to get the right one. Thank you for your help!
Hello! So I have problematic skin. My nose has very large pores that tend to fill up weekly. I have an oily t-zone, as well as redness there in addition to my chin. I do get acne, but I don't consider it to be the worst thing in the world, although I have been left with about 3-4 acne scars in the last month. I consider my skin to be combination, since I'm oily yet my mouth and jaw tend to dry out. As a college student, I also think my skin looks tired, especially under my eyes! I don't have dark circles but they are puffy and I fear I am close to getting wrinkles there. Finally, I have uneven skin tone. You could easily tell my skin is textured in pictures, and some parts of my face is darker than others. A lot of products are aimed for one or two issues, but I don't know how to combat all of my problems at once. I have been eating healthier and drinking a lot of water, along with exercising. So again, I'm not sure where to start (in terms of products/regimes) in order to lessen all the issues listed above. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
My face skin was somewhat clean(without any treatments before) until i go to military training. I wasn't able to wash my face frequently due to training everyday so i guess training around dirt and bad air environment made my skin go crazy (acne/blemish, wide pores, scars). So my question is how should i take care of my skin? Specific steps/routine would be appreciated! My skin type is combination as my forehead and nose is little oily and dry on other spots.
