Too Heavy - Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Foundation
So I recently bought the Kat Von D Lock it Tattoo Foundation. I'm very fair with pink undertones so it's one of the few foundations that actually match my skin. It's a PERFECT match. Unfortunately it feels very heavy to me. It's just too thick for me and I feel it all day long and it's very annoying. I don't want to return it because it's just such a perfect color. Am I able to mix it with a lotion or something to thin it out? If so, what kind of face lotion, because I'm pretty sure the foundation is silicone based?

Choosing a Naked Skin Concealer for Sephora Foundation Shade
Hi! I am having a hard time choosing the right Urban Decay Naked Concealer shade. The foundation I wear is the Sephora 10HR Wear Perfection Foundation in the shade 22 Light Natural and it is the absolute perfect shade for me. I don't have severe under eye circles or darkness, only moderate. I would like the concealer to highlight my eyes which is why I'm not sure which shade to choose.  I got a sample of the Light Warm shade and it blends perfectly but I don't feel that it provides enough of a highlight and contrast.   Thank you!

Foundation looks cakey no matter what?! Help please!
So i've been wearing makeup for about a year now. I have tried several different foundations and primers and used several different tools to apply and my foundation ALWAYS looks cakey or looks separated on my skin. No matter what primer, moisturizer, or foundation i use my foundation finish is just so cakey looking. Ive practiced all of these techniques and nothing has worked. I use a beauty blender most of the time but i have a lot of redness/acne so i sometimes use a brush for more coverage. Even when i use the blender(damp) it looks cakey. I will normally use the Kat Von D lock it tattoo foundation but it will cake so easily and its very noticeable. I have combo skin so i have matte and dewy foundations. I find that dewy looks abit more better but the coverage doesnt work because i dont want to look dewy if you can just see my acne/redness. Im thinking about going into sephora sometime this month and getting the Too Faced Born This Way foundation because it gives a nice finish and seems to not look cakey in the tutorials ive seen. So my questions are..Can anybody please suggest some tips on some primers or moisturizers that wont make my makeup look cakey. What are some foundations that give a more dewy look but with full coverage? Whats the best way to layer foundation for a more full coverage look without it caking? if u can help, thanks!

Make up for pale skin
I would really love some help.   I really would love to know what shade for my skin tone I need. Every time when I was at a photoshoot every time people use different products and I have no idea what shade or keep track. I would love to know what is a great recommended face primer, the whole list to contour my face. I am very pale lol. I call it the "phantom" skin tone. I swear I feel like you can see my veins lol.  I plan on going to the sephora store that open a while ago. Any advice would be great

I have fair skin and have had dark circles under my eyes my entire life. I have tried concealers and nothing covers them up completely. I am looking for a solution to this without breaking the bank. I remove my makeup every night with Clinique take the day off cleansing balm, wash my face with DE exclusive cleanser, then tone and moisturize. Then I wake up with a zit on my chin... WHAT?? What is the color equivalent to NARS stromboli in Giorgio armani?
Just curious in the sense that I haven't gotten to the store yet to physically try it but just wondering if there is an equivalency across brands. I've used NARS for a few years and as much as I love it I do love makeup and trying new things. I typically use NARS stromboli which is a medium with olive undertones but I can't seem to find one close to it in the Giorgio Armani brand.

Airbrush question!
Hi there! I just had my trial with my MUA for my wedding. He used airbrushed my foundation and I'm not in love with the coverage. I think I'm used to a thicker texture for full coverage. Can I have him use my normal long-wearing foundation (pür liquid) underneath a layer of the airbrush? Will this give me a more full coverage look with an airbrush finish?

Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick Shades
I got one of the two sided Bite Beauty lipsticks from Sephora a couple of years ago.  I got the shades Fig and Date and LOVE Date.  I noticed that Bite isn't making that shade anymore but I'm running low on it and am looking for something to replace it. What shade do you recommend that is similar enough to replace it? I'd prefer to replace it with another Bite lipstick, but if anyone has recommendations that are similar in shade and texture, I'm open to anything!

Cakey Foundation; need help!
Hi All- So I've been blessed with both combination skin, usually oily and sometimes dry... I have acne, though with maintenance it's gotten a lot better.    For the life of me, however, I can't apply foundation in a non-cakey way. It all sort of gets that slightly-congealed above the skin look. The only time it doesn't is sometimes with BB cream. Here's what I have used/tried/etc: Used various primers, used no primer. Different amounts of primers. (i.e. lighter and heavier uses) Moisturized before primer/not moisturized before Tried 4 different foundations: Revlon, Cover FX, ELF, Smashbox Used different application methods: fingers, kabuki brush, "foundation" brush, stipple brush, beauty blender (both wet and dry) Put foundation on back of my hand to warm up, even heated it with blow dryer, put it on straight from tube Only applied very small amounts over problem areas/applied over entire face for coverage I always wait for everything to set. As far as I can tell, I have tried all the things correctly... But before I even get to setting it, it's slightly cakey.    I'm not overapplying, I know a little goes a long way... I just can't understand why it isn't working.   Help, please!?

Having trouble finding the right foundation
Hi,   I have oily, acne-prone skin, with an olive/neutral undertone (i think). I also have acne scars on my cheeks and a little bit on my forehead as well. I have tried a few foundations but none of them seem to be the "one." I am currently using the Becca primer and I use the MakeUp Forever HD powder to set.   I previously had Clinique Stay-matte oil free foundation in 20: Deep natural....It seemed to work fine but I recently noticed the foundation oxidizing, or it could have been that the shade was too dark for me, it looked too orange. So i decided to try out a new foundation (although I may go back to this one if I don't find a better one).   In between I tried Born this Way (Honey-color was good), Make-up forever cream stick, Becca ever-matte...but my skin looked too oily with all of these.   I also tried NARS all day luminous weightless foundation in Barcelona. I loved how this foundation looked; the shade was perfect, felt great on my skin. However, I noticed dry patches and the foundation sat on top of my skin after a couple hours (oxidizing as well-seems to be a big problem for me). I really wish this foundation worked for me but sadly it didn't.   So I am now looking for another one. Any suggestions?

can't seem to decide on a foundation! help!
I'm facing some problems with dry skin. I'm usually pretty oily, but lately that's not been the case. I might develop slight oil in my tzone as the day goes on, but mostly I'm dealing with a lot of dry skin patches and flaking.    I switched my skin care regimen per my local spa, using an exfoliator a few times a week, as well as the first aid ultra repair cream, and the light argan oil in the morning. Seems to really help the foundation go on, but some foundations still manage to cling to my dry skin.   So onto the question. I've tried bobbi brown foundation stick, I did love this. It held up really well just wasn't so fond of the price for the amount of product I'm getting. I tried makeup forever mat velvet and while I loved the coverage and the smooth look, it dried me out even more. I tried the too faced born this way, and it did a good job as far as not clinging to dry skin, but the coverage wasn't as full as I would really prefer.    I love how the kat von d looks on people, but any advice as to how that works on dry skin? I'm hoping once it warms up, I won't have the dry skin issue. But I'm open to any advice on good foundations.    Also. If I try the kat von d, does anyone know how shades compare? I'm shade beige in the bobbi brown foundation stick. Not sure what the closest kat von d color would be.   Thank you!
