Ok so I am a mother of 4 and many times I just don't have the time or the energy to do my makeup/hair... When I don't get done up I look like death, seriously I have the worst dark circles under my eyes and look like I haven't slept in forever (which is most of the time)... I would like to know what are some of the products of you use, what are your routines and favorite items so you don't look dead but doesn't take more than 5 minutes tops? As always thanks for your help!!!
I recently bought products at a Sephora store and I forgot about my Beauty Insider card. The cashier said that I can go online and use my receipt to get points from my purchase, but I can't find a link or a way to add the points. Does anyone know how to redeem points from a receipt?
I was just doing some research on different sunscreens and noticed that some people said to use sunscreen daily and have it be the last step-after all of my make-up is put on. I prefer a matte finish to my face and whenever I have tried to put on my sunscreen last, I've never been satisfied with the outcome. I usually put my sunscreen on after my moisturizer but before my foundation and I've never had a problem with it before. Is there a reason why I should put on my sunscreen last? (And if so, what kind of sunscreen can I use to keep my face looking matte instead of shiny?)
I have been using Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation for the last couple of years. I see that it has been discontinued/reformulated. I need a suggestion for a new foundation. I'm not interested in the new formulas as I've not seen too many positives about the product in comparison to the older version. I have Rose Ivory & could go a tad lighter because I have to be very careful to make sure it is blended with my neck. I have fair skin with a pink undertone.
So about a month ago, I was on spring break in Florida and decided to wear a bathing suit that left me with awkward tan lines around my chest and collarbones. Well, I have a dance to go to in 10 days and my dress is strapless. You can see my problem, right? I've never tried a self tanner and I'm very leery of doing so, but I'm desperate. Some of my concerns about using a self tanner are will it be too dark, how long would it last, and would it be hard to remove if there was an issue? If someone could help me out I'd be very grateful.
I have NC30/NC35 skin and am looking for a bronzer that is not orangey. Any suggestions? I would also like to get a Nars blush. I have dark brown/black hair and dark brown eyes. Which shades would suit me? Thanks in advance!
I'm hoping to use Dior's Nude BB Cream in tandem with the Lancome Dual Finish for my daily moisturizing/foundation routine. The only foundation that I've found that has ever truly matched my skin tone is Matte Neutralle II by Lancome in their Dual Finish product. I'm fairly pale most of the time, yet have olive to neutral undertones. I'm hoping to get a good BB/CC cream to wear with the dual finish product in order to help treat and cover my acne. I will also be purchasing a new concealer, however I'd rather have this focused exclusively on covering my dark circles, as I find many concealers just cause my sometimes cystic acne to become dry, flaky, and very red, or oily products cause further breakouts. It may be important to note that I'm not 100% set on the Dior Nude BB cream, it's just the one that seems to have the best reviews. I would love to be able to visit in store to swatch everything out, however I am an 8 hour drive from the nearest store. Bonus points if you can recommend a good concealer for me! Preparing to buy a completely new foundation/concealer/moisturizing routine.
I want them to look natural and not obvious that they're filled in or anything. Wanted to make sure what shade fit me best before I purchase it online. My hair color is dark brown, almost black. What shade should I get?
I purchased Sephora Regenerating Oil Serum a couple months ago. Now I can't remember if it was to use in place of my Philosophy When Hope is Not Enough or for another purpose. If it was to replace the Philosophy product does it do everything that When Hope is Not Enough does?
i think the sun safety kits were out the first week of May in 2014, so hoping that means that we have less than a month til they are out in 2015. Any word on a release date yet? I love the sun safety kits!!
Hi, Funny to admit, but I'm 30-something who never wore make-up even semi-regularly until the last 6 months. I got colour matched at a Sephora and came out as Colour IQ number 2R04. After half a face in foundation mousse, my consultant recommended Laura Mercier's Oil Free Primer, Tinted Moisturizer, and Mineral Powder for my foundation. This is working really well for me, but I think I'm over-embracing my recent fondness for make-up. Now, I'm convinced I need everything that everyone else is doing, lol. What I really wonder is ---> how does a person know if they need concealer? How do you choose a concealer colour? Do I need concealer? How do I use concealer without looking cakey? Included are photos of my face with make-up and without for reference (part and hair colour slightly different).
Any suggestions as to how to pick the right shade of foundation when the actual product is not available to try? I've ordered from Sephora online before, but am wanting to change and try a new foundation, and am wondering how to choose the right shade. I don't want the hassle of ordering, waiting for it to ship, just to find it's the wrong shade and have to send it back.
i have okay eyebrows. when i shape them they look good but i want to make them look fuller. is there any eyebrow product i could use. btw im REALLY BAD at making them look good even with art education.... i dont want them to look like i actually drew them on, i want them natural. i tried anastasia brow pomade, not good.
I have used Kat VonD Lock it foundation in light 48 and YSL foundation in Beige 40. I want to try Tarte Amazonian 12 hour full coverage foundation but I don't know which color. Can you please suggest a shade??
