Skin Care Regimen[ Edited ]
I am on an endless search for a good skin care regimen. I feel like I should be doing more for my skin now that I am getting older. I just bought the Clarisonic, which I love. I use it with Philosophy gel Purity Cleanser, which i also love. Then I apply moisturizer and Clinique All About Eyes, eye cream, which I am NOT crazy about. I need to find a better moisturizer for under my makeup and a better night cream. I also would like a better eye cream....please help! I need a better skin regimen! I have combination skin and some redness on the cheeks. I also have acne scarring from old acne, not marks but lightly pitted scars.

Hi Betita, I also have combination skin, and these are the products I would recommend:
For an eye cream check out Tarte Maracuja C-Brighter™ Eye Treatment
or Origins GinZing™ Refreshing Eye Cream
For a daytime moisturizer, I really like Josie Maran Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF 40
Night cream: Korres Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial
For your acne scars, take a look at Kate Somerville D-Scar™ Scar Diminishing Serum
Hope this helps! -Laura

I'm combo skin, too, and am def concerned about preventing aging on my skin! I LOVE Korres' Quercetin Eye Cream. It's lightweight and really has made a difference without any irritation. I'm about to buy my 2nd bottle of it--it's that good. Note: You'll want to apply it BEFORE any moisturizer you use since it has to be up against your skin to effectively work vs. lying on top of another product.
For both day and night use, I now have moved over to Clinique's Dramatically Different Gel. My husband is finishing his MBA, so I'm trying really hard to watch costs until he finishes. It's lightweight, and I like that it is oil-free. Once he finishes, I'll probably be either adding a serum underneath or will be going on something by Murad or Renee Rouleau for nighttime.
Re: Skin Care Regimen
I have combination skin as well, and I also use a clarisonic. I use the dramatically different moisturizer from Clinique and absolutely love it! It is just the right amount of moisture without leaving a ton of excess. Recently, I saw my dermatologist and she told me to use CeraVae moisturizer. It is purchased at places like target, walgreens, etc. And I was skeptical because I never buy beauty products from the drug store. But I actually like it better than anything I have used! There is a daytime and night time moisturizer from their line. It is amazing and leaves my skin feeling great. I use lancome eye cream(I cant remember which one) Ive also recently added in the ole henriksen vitamin c oil and I LOVE it
