Products for aging skin

Hello:

I'm 45 years old and am concerned about aging. I have fine lines and wrinkles, my skin seems to be losing it's firmness and I have some age spots and discoloration. I also have circles around my eye area, crows feet and my eyes need some lifting. What products or product line would you recommend?

Hello cosmeticjunkie44, 

I would recommend a good serum to use both morning and night, a face cream with an SPF to protect you during the day,and a fantastic eye cream to help with lines, dark circles, puffiness and elasticity around the eyes. After cleansing your face day and night, follow up with a serum, then your eye cream and face cream. 

My favorite lines include Peter Thomas Roth, Origins and Kate Somerville for the most effective products. Here are some good recommendations you may want to try that are some of my favorite recommendations and most potent and effective items.

Peter Thomas Roth Laser Free Resurfacer (one of my personal favorites for resurfacing the skin tone and brightness)

Kate Somerville

CytoCell or Total Vitamin Antioxidant Serum (Cytocell is great for brightening and for increasing collagen and elasticity)

Origins A Perfect World with SPF 25 or Age Erasing with Mimosa (both great for lines and wrinkles, also in Oil free formulas to reduce appearance of oil or pores) 

 

PTR Laser Free Gel Cream (lightweight and great for oily skin types or disguising larger pores,  plus resurfaces and smoothes the skin)
