I am looking to buy Nars Sheer Glow Foundation, and having trouble with the shades. I am currently using Clinique Even Better Foundation shade 03 Ivory. I have a slightly yellow skin tone, not to fair, I easily tan. The Clinique consultant at the store told me not to use a too yellow foundation, to even out my tone. I am wondering if this is accurate, or should I go with a more yellow one if I want to have the Clinique Foundation again? Also, which shade should I choose for the Nars Foundation Sheer Glow? Thanks!

Hi,
If you tan easily, you may also want to consider bronzing around the outter perimeter of the face to help balance your body and face. You can also match your foundation to your décolleté if you notice a white casting to help the overall balance.

Hi Marysocontrary,
I think that the cast member was trying to say to use a more neutral shade foundation. If your skin is more on the yellow side you can either use a yellow or neutral based foundation. Be sure to match the foundation to the color of your neck too. I suggest the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation in Deauville (light with neutral balance of pink and yellow undertones) or Ceylan
(light-medium with yellow undertones). I hope that this information helps!
