Makeupforever Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector

I'm a natural strawberry blonde with blonde eyebrows and lashes. My eyebrows looking darker/lighter depending on the light. I am hoping to dye my hair a darker auburn/gold red color, but I know that for it to look right on me, my eyebrows need to be darkened. I really am skittish of dying my brows, so would this product work well for me? It seems like it stays on excellently. I'm just confused as to which shade to buy... My blonde brows need to be reddish to look natural with my hair.

Hi Ashnicole14,

I suggest trying out the Benefit Cosmetics Brow Zing in Medium, which is perfect for medium brown to red hair.

Benefit Cosmetics - Brow Zings

Another alternate would be the Lorac Take a Brow in Auburn, which complements warm brown to reddish chestnut hair.

LORAC - Take A Brow

I hope that helps!

Thanks for the suggestions, Mia!!! They are much appreciated :smileyhappy: Will either of those 2 products stay on through water and sweat like the makeupforever one does? Since I'm not dying my brows, I basically would like to wear some type of color on them for as much as possible without the color coming off.

I'm a [natural] redhead, and my personal fave eyebrow color product is from Sonia Kashuk (Target). It's a 4-color palette of waxy color that holds up through everything. I use one of the colors almost exclusively (it's a brown/red), but you could also mix the colors to get a perfect match. It's called Sonia Kashuk Brow Kit - Arch Alert, and I believe it's $10 at Target.

Other good options include the LORAC linked by another poster above, and Anastasia products in the color Strawburn. Hope this helps!

@Ashnicole - The Lorac Take a Brow may be better for you. I like that it has the wax, which generally sets my eyebrows through sweat & humidity. I personally use the Urban Decay Brow Box, but they discontinued the shade that would best fit your needs :smileysad:
