Makeup settling into under eye lines and caking up

How do I keep my concealer and foundation from caking up under my eye and settling into into my "tear trough" (lines from the corner of my eyes going towards my cheek)?  I have sensitive, acne-prone, combination skin.  I am using Clinque's All About Eyes Rich morning and night, Cetaphil face lotion (dermatologist recommended) morning and night, MUFE HD Elixir in the morning before using MUFE All Mat primer.  I just started using MUFE Lift Concealer because it says it won't settle into lines, but I am still having trouble.  I also use MUFE Mat Velvet + foundation and HD powder (although I avoid my eye area with the powder).  I am really frustrated that my under eye area looks so dry and cakey throughout the day.  What else can I do?

Hi Ksims,

I would suggest that you try an under eye primer as well as a more liquid based concealer.

Try the Benefit Stay Don't Stray which keeps your primer and makeup staying on for hours without running or creasing:

Benefit Cosmetics - Stay Don't Stray

and try a liquid based concealer like the Lancome Maquicomplet, Smashbox HD Concealer or Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer both of which are creamy and long lasting:

Lancome - MAQUICOMPLET - Complete Coverage Concealer Smashbox - High Definition Concealer  Amazing Cosmetics - Amazing Concealer

Have you tried a translucent powder dusted on top or a makeup setting spray as well?

Cover FX Setting Powder

Cover FX - Setting FX Translucent Setting Powder

Sephora Collection Setting Powder

SEPHORA COLLECTION - Smoothing Translucent Setting Powder

Kat Von D Lock n Load Setting Spray

Kat Von D - Lock 'N Load Makeup Setting Mist
