Makeup for handbag
Hi, I am now working full-time for the first time in 9 years, and I want to look pulled together and polished all evening (2nd shift at a hospital). What eye and cheek products should I keep in the makeup bag in my handbag? Right now I have lip gloss, lip liner, blotting sheets and powder.

To make my makeup last with less touch-ups, I use primer (both eye and foundation) before applying other makeup. It really makes a difference in how long my makeup stays in place, approx 3 hours without vs all day with primer! If you wear water resistant or waterproof mascara, that helps keep it in place, too.
I keep a sample of fragrance, Tarte Cream Blush (my new absolute long lasting favorite) and lipstick in the color of the day in my bag, in addition to the things you mention. If I'm going out after work, I pop the Urban Decay Naked palette in my bag so I can layer on a darker shadow to make a smokey eye look from my normal neutral look.
Hope this helps!
