I have had acne for the past few years and i was wondering if there were any products you could suggest that would help with cystic acne, acne scars, redness and irritation without completely drying out my skin? Thanks!
I am a firm believer that acne can be cleared without unnecessary dryness or irritation from the treatments! My acne formulations were developed with this requirement in mind. You may want to try our Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser and Acne Serum twice daily. I would follow with Calm Cool & Corrected as your moisturizer. If you have dark spots, you can spot treat these with Photodynamic Therapy Spot Eraser and apply it following the acne serum and before your moisiturizer. Make certain to wear a broad spectrum SPF 30 such as our DD Cream.

Thank you SO much everyone for letting me spend this time with you! It has been AMAZING! Remember that I love being able to help everyone's skin concern and want you to treat beautifully with DERMAdoctor.
I Have been using KS Detox Daily cleanser lately. I feel like my skin is cleaner, but I'm still having issues with whiteheads under the skin on my chin and four head. Do you recommend anything to make these go away? I have a slightly sensitive skin.
You may want to try Ain't Misbehavin' Cleanser and Serum twice daily. You can always hydrate with either Wrinkle Revenge Serum or Calm Cool & Corrected which can be layered with your acne serum.

My skin is definitely in between. When I used lotion, it's way too oily, but when I don't it's so so dry. What should I do?
Perhaps you would like Wrinkle Revenge Ultimate Hyaluronic Acid Serum. It's super light weight yet holds so much moisture in the skin. You can also try layering it with either Wrinkle Revenge Face Cream or Kakadu C Face Creme when you feel on the dry side.

What are the best ways to get rid of acne on sensitive skin?
There is no doubt that topical acne treatments can be drying and irritating to the skin. DERMAdoctor formulates acne products that help balance the skin and treat the acne without causing excessive dryness or irritation. Consider trying Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser and Acne Serum.

Hello!!
Overall I love my skin, its usually on the dry side I use rose water and coco butter in the morning and at night I use a facial cleansing bar and a product called ultra bland from lush to take off my makeup. lately I've been noticing my skin changing dramatically... I have acne breakouts in between my eyebrows almost every week.! It bums me out because that's the only spot on my face that is having this issue. Are there any products or a facial regimen that you could suggest that is perfect for spot treatment and zapping random acne? I think it might have to do with the type of highlight I use for makeup.. thanks so much
- Shelise
The skin is an amazing and absolutely fascinating organ - random inexplicable breakouts in the same place are an unfortunate fact of life. I used to have terrible acne cysts on my chin in the exact same spot month after month. No rhyme or reason...the same is likely true of the spot between your brows. The only thing I can imagine that might be an obvious flare factor would be if you are either waxing or tweezing that area?
Regardless, I would spot treat the acne prone area with Ain't Misbehavin' Acne Serum twice daily both as prevention and clearing treatment. Personally, I find that coco butter is not the ideal moisturizer for anyone who is acne prone. Perhaps Calm Cool & Corrected instead?

Hello!
In what order should we apply our creams, lotions, serums, overnight masks, spot treatments, etc?
Always go from lightest to heaviest.
Cleanser
Serum
Lotion
Cream
SPF
Make-Up
If using a spot treatment, apply after your serum or lotion if using one directly to the dark spots.
I like simplicity. If wearing something like an overnight mask, I would use it solo on that particular night.
I've been wondering about this too! Thank you!
What are some great non-invasive options for someone in their 20's to fill and/or reduce the appearance of nasolabial lines? As well as get a plumper, well-rested look for their overall face? (combo/sensitive skin friendly options are a plus!)
You may find that layering Wrinkle Revenge Serum with Kakadu C Serum are helpful at helping give you a more youthful, firmer look. Anyone with really deep nasolabial folds may want to ask their dermatolgoist about an injectable hyaluronic acid filler as a next step.

Hi Dr. Kunin,
I've been using KP Duty for years and love it! I like all the new face products you've developed. Can you recommend a regimen to incorporate with Retin-A? I'm using it for wrinkles and dry skin. Thanks!
Absolutely!
Morning:
Wrinkle Revenge Cleanser 1
Wrinkle Revenge Ultimate Hyaluronic Serum
Kakadu C Serum
Kakadu C Face Creme & Eye Souffle
DD Cream
Night:
Alternate everyother night the Retin A with another regimen.
On the off nights from the Retin A, use Physical Chemistry followed by Wrinkle Revenge Serum, and Wrinkle Revenge Eye Balm.

My skin is so dry and no matter what I use it doesn't seem to help. My skin is dry, flaky and sore. What do I do?
I believe you would really enjoy using Wrinkle Revenge Serum followed by Calm Cool & Corrected and Wrinkle Revenge Eye Balm. These can be applied twice daily.
