I use the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer and love the product. It does not cover acne scars, but it does even out your skin tone a bit so that they are not as obvious. I like the LM TM because sometimes you just don't want full coverage. I find that if I use spot concealer on the darker marks, the lighter older acne marks which have faded slightly are very faint with the TM only. I don't use the LM concealer but am liking the Tarte Maracuja creamy concealer and finds that it blends in well with the TM.
I hope this helps.

For me, I have light acne scarring that Im currently trying to fade, and the LM tinted moisturizer gives me enough coverage to cover them, but not if I have a current breakout. Thats when I need the foundation. For summer Ive tried to stay with a TM since its so hot and I dont like thick makeup on, I tend to sweat and I feel as if it will clog my pores. I use the oil free and the TM doesnt really break me out.

Hi Kyl3. No it probably won't give you enough coverage. If you want something that feels lightweight but still covers, I recommend trying Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream SPF 35. It has a smooth buildable coverage and a natural finish.
