If You Love Lipstick As Much As We Do...Help us Name These Shades

Hi BeauyTalkers,

It’s that time again...at Wander Beauty we have a fanatical addiction to innovating when it comes to product development. With each product idea comes a survey of our team with a barrage of questions: Would you use it or not? What does it replace in your makeup bag? Is it a multitasker? Is it an essential? And more... There are many rounds of formula revisions, ingredients sourced from around the globe and countless component designs.

There is a network of Wander Beauties who test and try the formulas and comment on the shades. So, after many brainstorming sessions (read LOTS of Starbucks lattes and Magnolia cupcakes consumed), we finally start the most fun part of the process….naming the shades! So, BeautyTalkers, we were so grateful for your help naming our Exquisite Eye Liquid Shadows, that we are hoping to tap into your expertise again. Next Fall (2017) we will be launching a new lip duo that will hopefully WOW you.

In the meantime, we need your help on naming these two new members to the Wander Beauty family. The ideal name is travel inspired and also describes the color of the shade. Sound off in the comments!

1. This color reminds me of the Pomegranate wine (so yummy) I had in Armenia. (Noor is the word for pomegranate in Armenian.) It also looks very close to the red garnet stone that is used to make Pomegranate jewelry. Maybe a good name would be Armenian Garnet. Or PomeGarnet. Or Armenian Pomegranates. 

2. Reminds me of Purple Persian Basil. So.... Persian Basil or Persian Purple

These are such gorgeous shades! I saw them and knew I had to throw out some suggestions. I know you wanted them to be travel inspired so I hope domestic gems count 😉

1. Iolani Palace

This is the first thing I thought of when I saw this shade! The color is just so luxuriously royal with a hint of a tropical vibe. It reminds me of the Throne Room!

2. French Quarter 

This color is so rich and cultured just like the French Quarter. I can practically hear the saxophone playing in a Jazz club with a nice pour of bourbon neat in front of me!

1) 24-claret

I also thought of 24-claret gold, but I figured that mixes up the idea of the color since the focus is claret not gold.

2) Meet Me in Bordeaux/ Take Me to Bordeaux

I personally favor the first one though, but I thought of the second initially 😄
