Hair with lots of needs

Hi! I have fine, color-treated hair, which breaks slightly at the temples. Is there any shampoo out there that will give volume, anti-breakage without stripping my color?

Also, are BB creams good for fine hair?

For the face do CC creams so anything for wrinkles. Thanks much@

Is this a keratin issue with brittle hair?

Totally agree with Melissa, the entire Alterna line is fantastic for hair that is brittle and dry. The Bamboo UV+ Color Protection Rehab Deep Hydration Mask is a nice transitional product for after you kick start your hair back into a healthy state.

Hi Mothingmothing,

I know how you feel! I have had my hair heavily color treated before and if you hair is bleached it can feel really fragile at the ends. Try using a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. They are better for color treated hair because, they will not strip and make it dry. I highly recommend the Alterna Caviar Repair RX Instant Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner.

Depending on the CC cream, most of them help with dark spots and helping even out the complexion. Are you looking for a make up to help temporarily smooth out wrinkles?

I also recommend the Alterna Caviar Repair RX Micro-Bead Fill & Fix Treatment Masque which will fill in the hair cuticle.

Re: Hair with lots of needs

I will be interested in answers to your first question.  I was looking at the reviews for Bumble and bumble's mending shampoo: http://www.sephora.com/mending-shampoo-P280519?skuId=1270099  It looks like that might help with he breakage but not add volume.  I have fine, permed hair so I'm curious what others might have to say.

As far as BB creams go, they're meant for the face, not the hair, unless I'm not understanding your question.  If you mean something other than a product like these: http://www.sephora.com/bb-cc-cream-skincare, maybe you can elaborate.

Look at the link about for info about CC creams, too.  CC creams really are targeted at color correcting, not wrinkle repair.  You're probably better off looking at the right type of skincare/moisturizer and then deciding the coverage you need to go with it.  You might find some BB creams would give you more to help with wrinkles than CC creams.
