Foundation Primer For Combo Skin

So I am looking for a new facial primer. I used Smashbox Light, which doesn't seem to be helping me out at all.  My skin still gets somewhat oily later on.  I get oily mainly on the nose and somewhat on the t-zone however, the rest of my skin is pretty dry.  I use Sheer Glow Foundation by Nars, which I love and I am hoping for a little bit of help on foundation.  Another thing to keep in mind, other than my skin is combo but tends to run drier, is the fact that my skin can be very sensitive.

Hi Manda!

Your skin sounds a lot like mine, and I love the Nars Sheer Glow but sometimes its too shiny for my oily t zone and combination skin!

Try a basic primer that will leave your whole face feeling smooth and comfortable, and maybe even an additional mattifying primer or t-zone gel to keep those shiney areas less apparent.

Thank you Diana.  I appreciate the response.  I know I ordered a setting spray as well so, I think that might help out the minor oily issues as well.  I also order the 500 pt. perk from MUFE so perhaps, there might be something in there I like.  I think there was a sample of the primer.  I think the reason why my face might look so "oily" is because I use ceravu for my moisturizer plus I sweat whenever it is a bit warm, which doesn't help at all.  I did order a new moisturizer from REN though.

Have you ever looked at hourglass mineral veil? It turns your face to silk and your make up glides right on.

I tried it before but it seemed as though I was using a lot of product for how much I was using it.  Maybe it was just me?  Maybe I only needed half a pump.

Hi Manda,

I normally use 1 to 2 pumps and then I let it dry for about 4 or 5 minutes while I do something else. I know what you mean about using alot but I have not touched up my face since I started using it and I live in the south where it is very hot. I use that primer, a powder foundation and then I do a very little amount of HD powder.
