Foundation Help!

(0) Hearts

I'm having so many problems with Foundations, Tinted Moisturizers, BB Creams etc. It alway looks patchy when i put them on my face. I use flat top brushes, paddle brushes and sponges and it still looks patchy. What should I do? I feel like i'll never be able to wear face products.

Hi Ashleenicoleex3 How are you prepping your skin?  What are you using for skin care?  What type of skin do you have?

I have oily, acne prone skin and that's also another problem i have.... i can't find a good cleanser, toner, moisturize etc. that won't break me out and that will work for my skin

That is likely why your foundation is applying patchy.  I would recommend trying REN ClearCalm 3 Clarifying Clay Cleanser.  It's great for sensitive skin prone to breakouts.

For moisturizer, I recommend trying Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion - Blemish Prone/Oily Skin. It will give your skin just enough hydration and will help control oil throughout the day.

PETER THOMAS ROTH Gentle Complexion Correction Pads work well as a gentle exfoliant for acne prone skin.

And no toner? or is a toner not a necessity?
