So I was looking through the newest Seventeen magazine with Sarah Hyland on the cover and was looking at the Take a Beauty Break part, and really liked the eyeshadows the girls were wearing. If you are familiar with the article can you please give me a recommendation? if not, it is a shimmery bronzey goldy peach color.

Hi Clddrake,
I agree, it looks like she is wearing a lot of shimmery golds and neutrals. Apply a gold to the lid or a light pink, use a shimmery bronze in the crease and then a darker brown on the outer crease.

Thanks so much for the recommendations!(: In the article, it looked almost as if they were wearing just a wash of color over the lid and crease, and I dont reallly need a palette, so are there any single eyeshadows that you think would work? Thanks! x

Hello clddrake!
In the summer I like to wear the least amount of makeup (especially on the eyes!) as possible. My favorite is a clinique duo that you can wear with both shades together or alone!
My favorite is the Clinique Colour Surge Eyeshadow in
Coral Reef

Stila Eyeshadow in "Sun"

or "Sparkle"
And the Nars Duo Eyeshadows in "Key Largo"

or "Night Star"

Pair this with a volumizing waterproof black mascara and you'll have a gorgeous summery glow!

Hi clddrake,
I love that summery wash of color on the eye. Another product that you might want to look at would be a cream waterproof eyeshadow. It gets so hot in the summer that I love something that keep it simple but lasts. You might want to try the new Smashbox one in Topaz.

Or the Aqua Shadow sticks by Make Up For Ever-you can swim in these and they won't budge since they were designed for aquatic ballet! The pearly taupe might be perfect. An extra bonus is you can apply both of these products without a brush!

I love your effortless beauty look for summer!
Shine on!-Helen

I haven't seen the Article, but from the description (gold, peachy, pink), it might be worth considering one of the new neutral palletes that have launched for the summer, that way you get all the colors you need to complete the look. Two that I like are Too Faced Natural at Night and Lorac Unzipped, both have golds, browns and a pinkish color. If you live near a sephora, you can maybe ask a cast member to test some of options for you.
