Eye Shadow Recommendations - Deep Navy Blue & Deep Wine/Burgundy
[ Edited ]

Hello!

I have dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and medium fair complexion. Please recommend a Deep Blue Eye Shadow (similar to Sephora - Welcome Aboard) and Deep Wine/Burgundy Eye Shadow (similair to Sephora - Precious Gem) in a high end brand that is buttery in texture and super easy to blend like the Hourglass and Urban Decay formulations.

I tried to find the shades in UD, but their deepest blue shade (Evidence) has a sheen that takes away from the depth of the blue, and their closest shade to burgundy (Last Call) has too much pink/rose, whereas I want a true rich deep wine/burgundy.

Also, please comment on the quality of MUFE Diamond Eye Shadow singles - are they buttery like UD and easy to blend? I have seen mixed reviews online so I am not sure if I should go for it. They do have a deep wine colour - Diamond Burgundy 311.

Please also comment on the texture/quality of Stila (Pigalle).

Thanks!

Hi!  Here are a couple suggestions-the first is the Smashbox Eye Enhancing Palette for brown eyes.  The shadows have a great smooth texture that are very pigmented, and the palette has both of the shades you wanted:

If you swatch these shades in the store and they're not what your looking for, I would definitely suggest the MUFE Diamond eye shadows.  While some of these shadows aren't very buttery, they're so pigmented and have great staying power.

Hope this helps!
