Dior Skincare?

Anyone use any of Dior's Skincare line?  Anything I should know?  Likes/Dislikes?  Just wondering if it's worth it or not.. Thanks!

Re: Dior Skincare?

Hi mightyclassy07,

Were there any particular items that you were interested in trying and looking at? I've used a few different items from Dior's skincare line and they are all really great quality depending on your skin needs. I would highly recommend the Hydra Life line since everything is so lightweight, waterbased and soothing on the skin especially the eye cream.

Hey dianabt!

I have very dry skin and was recommended their Hydralife Serum and Detox Mask.  I really don't think I need a mask but I'm interested to see if any of their moisterizers do more for me than what I already have.  Thanks!

Hi mightyclassy07!

In that case, I really think you would enjoy the Hydralife line. It's great for dry skin since it is SO moisture replenishing and really water based. The detox mask is nice as well, but I'm worried it may be a bit too intense for your skin!

Definitely try the Hydra Life Fluid Lotion with SPF 15

The Detox mask is nice and SUPER soft and hydrating on the skin but can initially cause a few breakouts as your skin purges bad bacteria. i would even suggest that you try the Dior Gentle Toning lotion which will remove bacteria and buildup but won't be excessively drying or cause purging on the skin.

Do you have a store nearby you? Try to visit and get a few samples if you can, or even try the items on the back of your hand to see how you like their feel and texture. :smileyhappy:

Thanks dianabt!

Dior has an event coming up at my mall on the 5th but I'm just not sure I can wait that long :smileywink:  And, as always, your advise is concise, thoughtful and very welcome.

Re: Dior Skincare?

No problem!

It can be tricky finding new skincare, I have tried pretty much everything you can think of and have a pretty good feel on a lot of the items we carry. Dior is absolutely a GREAT brand to use and you do get a great item for your money. :smileyhappy: If your skin is dry too and you want to try another line check out Caudalie. They have a great cream sorbet moisturizer that is light and fluffy but really rich for dryer skin types, not to mention they won't irritate the skin! :smileyhappy: Best of luck to you and I hope you can find some products you like!
