Brown mascara for this pale redhead? :)
As much as I love makeup, I don't wear mascara. I've only tried drugstore brands and I'm always disappointed at the clumpiness. Everyday I just curl my eyelashes since I'm blessed with long ones. Now I think it's time to delve into the world of mascara to really finish my looks. I tend to do natural brown and green shadows, and with my complexion and natural taste, I think a brown mascara would suit me best.
I thought I wanted badgal lash because I tried it in the store and liked how it didn't clump, but the badgal brown formula is... entirely different from the black one. Got any suggestions? I don't care about taglines like UBER DRAMATIC SPIDER DIVA LENGTHENING EPIC VOLUMIZING 300% MULTIPLYING SECRET FORMULA. I just want a nice, natural looking mascara that doesn't clump. ![]()
Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Hi Ialii. Maltipoo66 gave you some great recommendations. I'd like to add one more for you to try. DiorShow Iconic Mascara comes in a beautiful brown shade called Chestnut. I think this would be a great choice for you because, instead of clumping, the brush is designed to fan out your lashes and give separation and definition. Normally, makeup artists recommend wiggling the brush back and forth when applying mascara (and for most mascaras that is the best way to do it). With this particular mascara, it works best to brush straight up. It also holds curl really well. When I use this mascara, I don't even use an eyelash curler. I build it up a little at the lashline by pressing the brush gently against the bottom my lashes so they are forced up and holding for a few seconds. I will do that a few times to build a nice foundation for the curl. If you have very straight or stubborn lashes, you may still have to use the eyelash curler.

Higher End: Lancome makes a high definition mascara that comes in the shades Brown and Deep Brown. It separates the lashes, lengthens them, and gives a natural result. Here's the link:

Lower End: I've used Sephora's Full Action mascara in black in the past for a pretty long time-it does lengthen and separate very well, but you have to spend a little bit of time to get there. It gives a very natural look though, and comes in a brown shade:

Hope this helps!

I like your natural red head look, cute. I really love Covergirl Professionals mascara in the blue tube with the curved brush, it can be used for a great natural look or it builds beautifully. I really don't think I will buy any other kind, oh and brown or black brown. If you went with lots of mascara in black and a liquid black liner you could look like the girl from mad men.
