Anyone ever try it or heard of it? A while ago I got the tiny 0.35 oz travel size bar (worth $15) for free with a dermstore purchase. While packing up skincare items for my trip to Miami a few weeks ago I decided to try it out since it didn't take up a lot of space & I didn't have to worry about liquid carry-on restrictions with it. I didn't really know anything about it, just thought it was a simple car soap. I found it to be a touch drying, but removed makeup easily, and didn't leave a film on my face. So when I got home I read up on it. WOW is it expensive! Now I'm wondering if I should keep using it, or store it away for my next vacation. I found some of it's properties to be interesting: ~ pH balanced ~ Antibacterial ~ Speeds up skin repair ~ removes makeup, heals scaring, fades spots, evens out skin tone, & firms/plumps ~ No toner/softener is needed- it will rub off the silver particles ~ UV protection of SPF 15 - say what?!?! I've never heard of silver or silica to have sun protection properties? Ingredients : Palm Oil Glycerin, Aloe, Avocado, Vitamins A,C,D And E, CSC Compound (derived From Chitosan, Sericin & Collagen), Pomegranate Extract, Patented Nano-silver With Silica.
I have a combination skin and is really sensitive. I have never tried eye creams or serums before. From browsing I found these 2 products but not so sure or still reluctant ( Shiseido benefiance wrinkle resit24 intensive eye contour cream or Peter Thomas Roth Mega Rich Intensive Anti-Aging Cellular eye cream ) Please let me know if these are good or if you have a better suggestion. Thanks
I will be turning 60 this year! I have pretty good skin - some wrinkles around eye area and some sun dark spots. Looking for a good skin care regimen that will be good for my age. Like the dewy look not the matte look. Please give me advise for retinols, etc.
I've been using It's Potent! for a few years, and it worked okay at first, but now that I've started to develop fine lines it isn't helping at all. They were my unwanted 26th birthday gift, lol. Does anyone have a recommendation for anything for darkness and fine lines under the eyes?
I saw there is another Oscar thread about the fashions and beautiful women that were there this year. This thread is about the not-so-beautiful. It really bothers me to see so much re-sculpting of faces. I don't have issues with a subtle tuck here and there, especially for health reasons such as getting rid of hooding over eyes to see better, but to completely transform faces so they are unrecognizable, is beyond the pale to me. The high-pitched too-fat cheekbones of some stars like Kim Novak, Bette Midler, Jim Carrey and others, for example. And, again, Kim Novak, I realize she has had some health issues over the years, but I was in pain just looking at her frozen face. The woman is over 80 years old, for Pete's sake. Would it be so bad to actually look it? I know that some women's beauty fashion magazines treat all this plastic surgery/Botox stuff as second nature, normal thing to do, but I find it all a bit bothersome. What does this say about our society? About the entertainment industry? About self esteem? About natural beauty? And when has it gone too far? I love using makeup and wearing clothes that make me look and feel better. I have gotten hair permanently removed, and I used to get it continually colored. . But to see people, mostly women, go so far out there, I just don't get it. Perhaps as I age myself, I see beauty in this natural progression, as well as beauty in imperfections, so that I'm at a loss to understand or appreciate major transformations that others so freely choose. Am I alone in thinking about some of this?
I'm 26 years old, and wondering what products are best for age prevention/ anti-aging. I have some damage from the sun (very fine lines around eyes, and lines on forehead). With the myriad of products available, what's girl to use?
I am 45 and live in Florida. I am newly menopausal and still hot flashing. I currently just cleanse with neutrogena or olay products but realize that I am aging and need to pay more attention to skin care. I am totally overwhelmed with the skin care choices out there and don't want to waste my money on stuff that doesn't work. Help! I have decent skin and good genes but do have dark circles under my eyes and lines starting. I have a few sun spots starting as I live near the beach and love the sun. I do wear sunscreen. I am ready to try something entirely new but don't know where to start.
I am DYING to try this! My Local Sephora already sold out, and the sample bottle was EMPTY so I didn't get to see how it felt. My skin is sensitive, and I have the Josie Maran light oil, but I wanted a little something extra to add to it. Any one try it? If so what did you think? How did it feel, did you break out?
I'm 22 years old with sensitive and acne-prone skin. I had two horrible breakouts of cystic acne recently which left me with very dark and red acne scars on my cheeks. I also have several acne scars on my forehead and chin, but they are not as dark as my cheeks. Anyways, I ordered the set from Amazon because I couldn't resist. It was priced at $16, can be used with a $3 coupon, AND ships Amazon prime, so... I was enabled. I wanted to know if anyone else used this set and if so, what was your experience? Did you get any breakouts? How often did you use it? How DID you use it (There are a couple of reviews online saying to use the peel first, then the scrub and vice versa)? Is there anything I should be aware of when I start using this? Thanks in advance!
Hi, my Mom is trying to find a product that reduces or stops discoloration, dark brown (sometimes appears as grey) spots. Which products do you suggest? She is Asian, 49 years old and has a normal skin. Most of her facial products are Estee Lauder (she's been using for years, and seems like they work), but open to try other cosmetic brands. She prefers lotion (light cream) type, not oily serums. But if the serums work better, that's okay I assume. Thank you!
Serious question... Does this do anything? http://www.sephora.com/un-wrinkle-peel-pads-P19600 3?skuId=1047687 I just tried it for the first time, and my face smells like a mixture between mildewed towels and a **bleep**. Seriously...I thought it was my wash cloth. No, it was my face. My face burns like crazy too. Is this normal? It's calming down now after a few minutes with moisturizer on. (Yes, I washed it off.) Anyone here with experience with this product? Is my face supposed to smell like this?
Hi, I am looking for a new skincare routine and need your help! I have up to 300$ to spend, but no more. About my skin: 34 years, Normal (not oily or dry), fine lines around eyes, forehead and mouth, large pores, redness around nose area, age spots, small bumps (not milia, just small pimples) mostly on forehead and T zone area, occasional whiteheads Yes.... I have got lots of issues. My current routine: AM: 1. wash with Cetaphil using my hands 2. Moisturize with Sephora moisturizer 3. Apply makeup (makeup has SPF in it) PM: 1. wash with Cetaphil using Clarisonic with normal head 2. Moisturize with Sephora moisturizer 3. Use random samples that I have (GlamGlow, Truth Serum, ect) As you can see, I need to up my routine, but not sure exactly how. There are so many products out there. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
If I have several different products with anti-aging ingredients, how do I use them all and get the benefit? When do I use them. Would I layer an AHA with an antioxidant serum or cream? Can I use them all together? Do any of the ingredients cancel out the effects of the others? Can I get one product with everything in it?
Im only 13 and I have wrinkles under my eyes in the inner corner. I don't usually wear face makeup other than powder and I don't want to use any harsh chemicals or products on it. I was wondering if anyone knew any home remedies or All natural products to reduce them? Nothing too harsh because I don't want to ruin my skin at such a young age.
With so many products out there, I am in need of some expert advice. Meaning those of you that may have had the same issues with skin and aging. I need the best product for anti-aging and dark spots! WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND??
Hi, I'm 42 and in search of a new anti aging moisturizer and foundation, I have very fair, dry skin. I also have some redness (cheeks, nose and chin) so I'd like the foundation to cover well, but not be too pasty! Thanks for the help
