I have recently purchased P Roth Instant Firmx , but even after reading all  the reviews and tips I am still not able to get it right...anyone else resolved this ?

I didn't have any luck with this product either.  I tried it several different ways, but it didn't work for me either.  When I applied it my fine lines would disappear, but as soon as I rinsed the lines were right back.  I tried not rinsing, but it left a white residue on my face.  The only way that I had any luck at all was to apply this very sparingly and not rinse.  By applying sparingly, it didn't leave the white residue behind.  You're not alone in having trouble with this product.

I think I read every review and tried every tip mentioned.  A few times I thought I got it right, and my makeup would look good over it, only to have my daughter ask me later, "Mom why is your skin crusty?"  What works the best for me, but still isn't fool proof is-

Apply the product and let dry

Dap residue with a moist cotton ball

Pat primer over the top

Pat on foundation

Don't leave the house for a good 15+ minutes to see if any more flakes show up.  If they do, pat more moisturizer over the top.  This usually works!  The "patting" part of the instructions is essential, if you rub or buff, the products pills and looks awful.  In my opinion, this product just isn't worth it!

This is my routine:  apply sunscreen, primer, FIRMX (I let it sit for 5+ minutes & don't rinse) then I apply PTR Illuminating Moisturizer, then foundation.  The white never shows through.  FYI,  I've been doing this routine this since Nov '10. HTH
