I need to find a new eye cream but with so many on the market I am confused and would like some advice.
Background:
I used Shiseido Future Solution for years but I still had fine lines show up and one large wrinkle under one eye. I have tried Murad, Clinique, Dermadoctor, MAC and did not like any of these.
I am now using Dr. Brandt's r3p eye but I noticed this morning before I put it on that you could see my lines but after I put it on the skin under my eyes swelled the fine lines turned into wrinkles.
As I said before I have fine lines, the 1 wrinkle under the eye. I also noticed I now have a little white spot (like a white head) appear under my eye, have dark circles and extremely dry eyes. My eyes always seem to make me look tired.
Any help would be great!

Hi, macuser. I just came back across this post and I still agree with my answer that I gave you before about my favorite eye cream being Un-Wrinkle Eye by Peter Thomas Roth - http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P18
However, I hadn't noticed the part in your post where you mentioned the white spot you developed under your eye area and that's why I wanted to add a bit of additional info to my previous post. I am not a doctor, but a skin condition similar to what you’re describing that comes to mind is milia. A milium appears as a small white to colorless, dome-shaped bump that develops on the surface of your skin. Milia are actually small fluid-filled cysts, or simply little globs of protein under the skin and can sometimes be hard to the touch and are usually found on the facial area. This can be the result of the skin not sloughing off as it normally does, but staying in a pocket on the surface of the skin (the white ball under the skin). Those just described are known as primary milia. Secondary milia are small cysts that are found in areas of the skin that have been affected by another skin condition or trauma to the skin most commonly from the use of comedogenic makeup and skincare products that clog the glandular ducts of adults, causing irritation and stimulating oil production. Stress can also be a trigger of milia. You should go to a dermatologist to find out if you indeed have milia which needs to be treated from the bottom up with medications or treatments that your doctor recommends. For reference, here’s an example of what milia often look similar to:
Hope this helps!
Have a great day!

Hi Macuser,
I have found great results with the Shiseido Benefiance Concentrated Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream. I like that it smoothes out any fine lines and leaves my eyes feeling hydrated all day. I know when I put this on my eyes will feel refreshed.![]()
I have also included a thread with a similar question that has some great answers on it. Click Here to view it.

Chanel Ultra Correction Lift series eye cream. Clarins also makes a good eye spf which you would layer on top of a regular eye cream. Otherwise i'd suggest Lancome Bienfait spf28 eye cream for the day.

The white spots under the eye are called milia. They usually appear when the products you put around the eye are too heavy for the eye area. The Dr. Brandt r3p eye is probably wayyyy to heavy for you. Also, if you are putting your moisturizer too high it can cause milia as well.
My two favorite eye creams are the the Caudalie Premier Cru eye and Dr. Perricone's Advanced Eye Therapy. Caudalie is considered as Sephora natural and it has an instant brightening effect. It will help with fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage and dark circles, and will help lift the eye area. You can also put it on the lips as well if you'd like.
If you are more on the dry side or live in a dry climate you might not like Dr. Perricone because it is more of a serum for the eyes. It has a gel-cream consistancy. It is your all-inclusive eye cream and will do everything the Caudalie one does but will not have the instant brightening effect.
Hope this helps.

I have tried every eye cream and Darphin Stimulskin Plus Eye Contour Cream is remarkeable. Nothing compares. Unfortunately, it is also very expensive.

Hi, the white spot might be millia which I understand is caused by the pores becoming clogged, so you might actually want something less heavy in your eyecream. I use cold plasma by Perricone, which is not at all heavy, and I use an eyecream from a company called Yonka which has rosemary in it and is specifically for getting rid of the white bumps....Sephora doesn't carry the 2nd one.

I started seeing my first fine lines and decided to take measure. I have a background in Biopharmaceuticals, so I jumped head first and did my research. My preference came between Dr. Perricone and Philosophy. I have sensitive skin and also looked for products that would be gentle.
So I started using Dr. Perricone's products and what a difference! I get complimented often and the fine lines have not only vanished, my skin is glowing, I don't have the PMS hormonal breakouts I used to get and I am in heaven!
Dr. Perricone also has a philosophy that I have not yet tried following, but I bought a copy of his book for my Mom and she's been using it for 3-4 months (she does cheat a bit). I have myself noticed a difference in her face, neck and hands from her new diet and her using the Dr. Perricone line.
I will probably also be trying his new line called Super! - seems to be based on the same principles.

I've been using Sephora Benefiance eye cream which is the best I've found so far but it is $40 and I am looking for a thick and rich eye cream for my dehydrated eye area which is a bit less expensive.
