You have to make sure that you exfoliate and rinse well. You also need to lightly moisturize your hands, elbows, knees, ankles and feet. (Driest places on your body and only lightly moisturize) Apply with the mitt that they sell it seems to help in the application. Now I just want to put another suggestion for you out there, I thought forever that St. Tropez was the one and only but I researched on line and I am always a person looking for something better and I found xen tan deep bronze luxe. It is a weekly self tan and it is exactly that, you apply it once a week and also there is also just a 3 hour wait before showering and most of the others make you wait at least 8 hours, that to me is a big plus in its self.
