I love the new skincare line by Benefit Cosmetics! I have combination/normal skin and these products work great for me! In the morning, I use:

1. Benefit Cosmetics "Foamingly Clean Facial Wash" (Sephora Product Page ) with my Clarisonic Plus. This face wash is gentle, lathers well and gives you a really deep clean feeling.

2. Benefit Cosmetics "Moisture Prep Toning Lotion" This wipes away excess impurities without overdrying your skin. I can't understand why, but Sephora doesn't sell this toner. You can buy it on Ulta, though.

3. Benefit Cosmetics "Triple Performing Facial Emulsion SPF 15" (Sephora Product Page) This is a great oil-free face lotion that will give your skin the hydration and sun protection it needs as well as a radiant finish.

These products have proved to be very effective for me; since I started using them, my skin tone has been more even and I've broken out less. I highly recommend them! I hope this helps you! :smileyhappy:

I have normal to oily skin, and this is what I do:

Start by washing my face with just water.

Keeping my face wet, I use the Clean & Clear Blackhead Eraser Scrub for about 30 seconds to clean my face and mak0e pores look smaller. This is my favorite skincare product in the world :smileyhappy:

Finally, wipe your face with Seabreeze astringent on a cotton ball to close pores and help with acne. Good luck!!

Whats your age, skin type and skin concern? Overall I always recommend cleanser, sunscreen and moisturizer as a day to day regimen.

Here's a typical morning routine:

-Facial cleanser or cleansing oil.  (Depends on skin type.  I typically do a small amount in the morning due to dry skin.  Some even skip this step saying it is an excuse to use more product.)

-Lotion (This goes by many different names depending on the brand or geographical region it is marketed to.  Other names for it are toner, softener, etc.)

-Moisturizer

-SPF

Now in between Lotion and Moisturizer would be the serums and creams to address certain needs for some.  If those concerns do not apply to you, then skip those.

Without knowing the skin type, it might be difficult to recommend a certain line of products.  Someone with oilier skin for example would probably not do too well using items suited for drier skin types.  Most importantly, find items that work best for your skin.  They can be all from one line or a mix and match regimen that is the most beneficial for your skin.

As Cherrybombtastic said, there are quite a few starter skincare sets that might be worth trying.  Sephora link to the skincare gifts:  http://www.sephora.com/browse/section.jhtml?view=all&categoryId=C159

Or at the closest Sephora store, grab a sample of a toner and moisturizer (might be more difficult to get a cleanser sample but possible).  See how the selected products work.  If there are any immediate irritations, discontinue use earlier.  If all or one of the samples work with results you love; try the full size.  If on the fence about an item, sample another product.

Hope this helps.

That's really to say because I'm not sure what your skin type and problems are like is your skin flakey? Do you have an oily T-zone? Do you have blackheads? I'm sure you can start from cheap brands from drugstores, such as Cetaphil, which is well-known for being gentle and then start adding different products from different brands to tailor your needs, like maybe an alcohol-free toner from Neutrogena and invest in a more expensive moisturizer, perhaps? You can also try getting a kit that suits your skin type, like REN is a great natural brand or even go with Fresh's Soy Skincare Set, which has a cleanser, exfoliant, serum, and moisturizer. That set is good for combination skin types. This is of course very random, so I would suggest going through the product pages to check out reviews. Good luck!
