Best Skin Treatments for Large Pores
I do like my skin care routine I have now and it limits my breakouts. Just wondering if anyone has gone above and gotten any treatments done or any thoughts on them. I know this is a very open ended question, but just seeing what others do. I am oily/combination.

Thoughts on Paula's Choice?
Do you agree with her views on skincare products?  I'm on a hunt for my Summer night serum & moisturizer. I think I'm going to purchase the Perricone Blue Plasma even though it stinks so bad of fish & I hate fish. I've been researching products a lot and one of the sites I was on was Paula's Choice. She is not a fan of the serum... Actually the more I read through her "beautypedia" reviews, it seems like she's not a fan of a lot of products. I also got a feeling she was mainly trying to push her own products and Olay.  Examples:  - She's against treatment cleansers since it's just "washed down the drain". I have to disagree with this. When I use a treatment cleanser, although they can be drying, I do see improvement in my breakouts.  - Witch Hazel is bad. I find witch hazel to be an important ingredient when choosing a toner. She think it's just as bad as alcohol if not worse.    Products she gave a "poor" rating to:  - Anthony Logistic's Glycolic cleanser got a poor rating because it doesn't contain any glycolic acid.  - doctor dennis gross's A/B pads since we can just skip step 2 by simply splashing water on our face to deactivate step 1.  - Dior Capture Totale One Essential Serum because it's not a "miracle serum" since it's primarily just "water, slip agents, and alcohol" - ExfoliKate - Just about every Ole Henriksen product I love   - Origins Checks & Balances, Charcoal Mask & every other decent product from them - Most Murad products   I do agree with a few points she makes, like companies need to stop putting active ingredients in clear vials so the sun doesn't break down the properties of the treatment. Also jar packaging is a big no-no for her. I understand that some creams are too thick to be put in a pump, but what about those airless jars that Bosica & Dermadoctor are using? I hate sticking my fingers in jars & the air does break down the active ingredients over time...  Overall though, I don't think I'll be going to her site when I'm researching a new product I want to try.

My main issue with her is that she often references bad/outdated science.  The link below is one such example that cites the actual studies: see post
Help! flu playing havoc with my skin
So as the seasons change my skin always throws a wobbly, to make it worse now I have flu! My lips are dry and cracked despite using a thick layer of FAB lip therapy 4 or 5 times a day, my nose is raw from wiping and my skin is so dry. I feel bad enough cause I can't hear, breath etc... but the feeling of crud all over my fave is the worst. Any ideas for recovery products? Skin softening masks etc?

In need of at-home treatment for toennail fungus
Hello beauties,   Years ago, during my teen years, I worked as a lifeguard at a swimming pool.  Ever since that experience, unfortunately, I've had an issue with fungus on my toenails (one foot only, oddly enough).  If I knew how contagious this was, I would have walked around with flipflops instead of barefoot.  My podiatrist prescribed an oral antibiotic, but after treatment, the fungus reappeared.  Do any of you know of anything topical that I can apply to help get rid of the fungus once and for all?  I'm a very healthy and clean individual, so I'm frustrated to be dealing with such a nasty thing and would be ever so grateful for any advice/recommendations.    Thanks so much in advance!

Klairs Vitamin C Serum Expiring?
Hey ladies, I've been using the Klairs C serum for the last three months, pretty religiously and it's been amazing. However, this morning I noticed a little yellow spot inside the pipette that disposes the serum. It's too large to enter or exit the pipette so I'm fairly certain that it's a fungal growth. I tried getting a picture but it's too small and the pipette glass is too reflective for a helpful image.   However, like I said, I've only had the serum and been using it for 3 months. The serum has a shelf life of 12 months from opening the bottle. Has this happened to anyone else? I purchased the serum from sokoglam in late November.    Also, what do you guys think? Is it contaminated?

Blackheads/Sebaceous Filaments on Nose
I have had a problem with the blackheads on my nose for about 15 years. I have otherwise near-perfect skin which is slightly dehydrated, but have never suffered from acne or oiliness. The pore problem is isolated to just my nose, which is also rather large. What I am currently doing to get rid of them is using a pore strip after a steamy shower, then gently exfoliating my face and following up with a charcoal mud mask. This gets rid of them... BUT! I have to repeat the process within 3 days, and I am so tired of doing this. I have done so much research about the topic, and I know someone is bound to respond to this with "Don't use pore strips. They stretch out your pores and make them worse. If you stop using them, the blackheads will go away," but the blackheads are literally so bad that I cannot not be seen in public without clearing them first. The blackheads are 3-D, and stick out of my skin so I can literally feel them when I run my finger along my nose. (Did I mention I have a big nose? The blackheads are very noticeable!) Also, I have tried abstaining from using pore strips for a long time while being diligent with my normal skincare routine, and the blackheads did not just "go away." Below is a list of other products which I have tried to remedy the problem with:   Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment Caolion Premium Blackhead Steam Pore Pack Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask Tony Moly Blackhead Out Oil Gel Clarisonic Cleansing System the entire line of Dr. Brandt "Pores no More"   I'm sure I am forgetting even more products which I have used, but NONE of these has helped my nose pores, and I am really open to any suggestions at this point. Has anyone with this problem found a method to fix it? What should I be doing differently? Any advice will help. Thank you so much!

Super sad and curious
So I LOVE the Sephora Collection lip masks, especially the Shea! When I went to pick some more up in store the other day they were all out and said they had been for a while. I checked the site to find out that even online all there is are the Rose ones. I'm just curious if the Shea lip masks were discontinued completely? I clicked to be emailed when the item is back in stock, but I just wanted to know if I would be wasting my time waiting for an email when I should instead be looking for a new product? Thanks in advance!

Can anything stop dark circles from getting worse?
I'm 30, and had my first baby in October. I woke up one morning and tried to remove leftover mascara under one eye only to discover it was a "dark circle"! It's small, but looks so much like smudged make up that it's borderline trashy!    What product will help help to keep it from growing? The baby sleeps through the night now, so lack of sleep won't be contributing to it anymore.

Neck cream recommendations needed
Hi!   Looks like my favorite neck cream is out of stock I was using Ole Henricksen and loved it. I tried it because I started getting a texture on my neck that I didn't like...this smoothed it out considerably and made my skin so soft. I have oily skin so something that absorbs quickly and isn't too heavy would be great.   The reviews just confuse me. I don't want to spend a small fortune either.   Thanks in advance for your help!

Suggestions for correctors & pores
I have two issues that have been bothering me lately... one is my dark hereditary under eye circles, and the other is large pores that appear like they are filled with blackheads all the time. I have decided I want to try the Giorgio Armani Master Corrector.. should I use the pink (shade 1) or orange (2) for my circles which can be blueish but mostly are just brownish?   Secondly, you can probably see in the picture that I have enlarged pores all the way up towards my under eyes and on the part of my nose that is showing. I don't believe theres any way to shrink pores... but is there something I should add to my skincare routine? I'm 24 years old with dry skin, and currently use Cerave Face Wash, Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2, a liquid BHA 2% exfoliator at night, paula's choice benzoyl peroxide treatment as needed for acne, and moisturize with Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion + at night, and use Clinique Moisture Surge Intense in the morning.

Allergy reaction to most Skincare and Makeup
For years now, I have been having what seems to be an allergic reaction to most skincare products and makeup. What happens when I apply my serum and cream or makeup is my eyes water real bad and I have a lot of tears throughout the day. My eyes are never swollen or red though. I noticed that certain products make my eyes water worse than others. For example, eyeshadow primer (Stay Don't Stray, Benefit) or liquid eyeliner (NYC) or especially when I wear foundation... That makes my eyes water the most. (The skincare products I'm using now are the Estee Lauder Advanced Night repair serum and Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream by Sunday Riley). I've tried hypoallergenic products in the past but most of them make my eyes water anyway. I was wondering if anyone has any advice as to how I could exactly find out why my eyes water so much from so many products? Or if there is some kind of test I could ask a doctor for to find out what my allergies are? I was also wondering if simple eyedrops would help, perhaps Visene for allergies? Also has anyone else experienced such allergies, if so I'm really hoping to hear your advice. Thanks! Spoiler (Highlight to read)

Products and eyeshadow for eczema around the eye
Hello! I have a friend who has eczema around her eyes and she can't wear any eye shadows because of it. I don't know all the brands of eyeshadow she has tried, but the only brand from Sephora (high[er]-end) is one of the Urban Decay Naked palettes. Most of the time it immediately burns and causes redness/rash. With the Urban Decay palette it took about five hours. Please help :(
I've been using dr Dennis gross peel pads and they helped my skin so much !! I decided to get the ferculic acid + retinol serum and moisturizer ( since it says follow up with a moisturizer from their brand ). I didn't notice a difference in the first three days ( I wasn't expecting any so soon anyway, I know it takes time ) anyway I put the glam glow mask on ( the white one ) and the next day I woke up with small tiny bumps all over my face! with foundation they are really noticeable and under light it's super noticeable! Idk what to do how how to get rid of them!! Should I stop using the serum and moisturizer? I'm guessing mixing the ferculic acid + retinol with what ever is in glam glow wasn't a good idea !! What should I do ? I don't want to go to a dermatologist because they made my first worse last time !

Rash from Egg Cream hydration mask. Help!
I've heard such great things about the Too Cool For School egg cream hydration mask. I want to love it but I woke up this morning with a terrible rash all over my face. It's tiny little red bumps everywhere. It's not itchy but it is sensitive and tight feeling. I don't know what I should do now to correct the problem. Help please.   So the products I used last night: - Egg Cream hydrating face mask. This was my first time using this mask. After I used the mask, I let the remaining product sink into my skin.  -Drunk Elephant b-hydra intensive hydration gel. I put this on about an hour after finishing the face mask. I've been using this for months without any issues.   I don't know if it was just the mask or if it's a combination of the mask followed by my moisturizer. Spider Vein Treatment/Prevention/Experiences?
