Spider Vein Treatment/Prevention/Experiences?

I started noticing that I'm getting spider veins on my thighs, some are bad enough that I can actually feel the indentations. I'm 20 years old and in the normal weight range (on the low side, if anything). I know my grandmother has them pretty bad, but she's also pretty heavy so I don't know how hereditary it is, but my 14 year old sister is starting to get them too. 

Does anyone have any recommendations on treatments, prevention methods, or just general advice? I am probably going to go to a doctor soon, but wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this. TIA!!

Varicose vein treatment from Dermal md is recommends that in order to see DRASTIC changes the serum must be used at least once a day for two weeks straight. I did it, incredible results. My spider veins are less noticeable😘
