Demodex face mites

Does anyone have any info on this? Is it really a cause for rosacea? What are the treatments for demodex?

There is a product called Cliradec that is a teatree wipe or foam it's what most ophthalmologist and optometrists use for demodex in the eyes but it can be used on the face too! Keep in mind we all have a certain amount of demodex and that is natural!

There is a new rx out for rosacea called soolantra. I am not on it but am going to my dermatologist this month and though I would ask. When I was reading the rosacea article on soolantra they said it was to treat demodex which a new study says is high on people with rosacea. I don't know if this is true or not so I thought I would ask.

A Demodex infection is equivalent mange in dogs and is pretty serious.  If you think you have this you should really see a dermatologist for professional treatment, as it is contagious.
